    Since the March update, the game allow safe mode which neutralized the ambush in Chapter 12. You can pick the strongest opponent to gain as much exp per run. But my PR grind ended long ago, so I mainly use to train my favorite ships to max out tech point.

      Now that is super hard core. Half the time once I MLB a ship I dont want, Ill just retire them.

    I'll just do what I did with the pr1 ships, one one 7-2 I find it the most efficient as it costs next to no oil and you can farm the coins needed for the research at the same time.

      Or farm 7-3 for hell to get Isuzu. Done all PR1 ships in 7-3 and still dont have her. Kitakaze now is almost also done in 7-3 and still no Isuzu. Grinding now more than 1000 runs for isuzu. Harder farm than any PR ship ever. I dont know why they made her drop rate so ultra low..... Its just a blue rarity ship with high aa for the sakura faction.

      Using 1:1 fleets on Chapter 7 is more oil efficient than using 3:3 fleets on Chapter 12 for Main Fleet ships. However, for Vanguard Fleet ships, 3:3 on Chapter 12 is more oil efficient than 1:1 on Chapter 7. For time purposes, Chapter 12 grind fleets are ~3x faster. Of course if you don't have the proper ships leveled to clear Chapter 12, then you are forced to do what you can complete.

    So for FDG could I just use Peter Stresser or just use Zeppy?

    Any chance you can list the gear you've got on the girls here? Some of them look really unfamiliar to me.

    can you do a PR1 Guide? i need help on Ibuki.

    • @AzurLaneMeta
      @AzurLaneMeta  4 роки тому +2

      I'm going to be honest and say that that probably won't happen. However, for Ibuki, you can use the same strategy for Kitakaze 7:52
      If you need more help or have more questions, you can always ask on my discord (link in description).

    The thing I don't get about this guide, is why not use an all *insert required faction* fleet for each PR ship? Wouldn't that be more efficient, since they no longer require ship type?
    For example I used an all IJN fleet (well, two since my main fleet that I use to deal with bosses is also IJN) to farm Azuma. Won't you get there faster if you use 6x xp, rather than just the 3x, that I see you use for most of them in your video? Is there a limit to how much xp you can get for your PR ship with each battle, or something?
    Now that I'm done with Azuma, I'm about to start working on FDG so I was planning on using a full Iron fleet party: ex. Bismark, Graf Zepp, Tirpitz (or an Akashi/Uni/Shouhou if I need the heals), Prinz/Graf Spee/Hipper, Leipzig, Z1/Z23/Z46 - Or something along those lines. Wouldn't a team like this be more optimal than the one you mentioned, with "non-contributors" like Sandy, Port and Phoenix? I hope I'm not just being ignorant...

    • @AzurLaneMeta
      @AzurLaneMeta  4 роки тому +6

      Yes if you can build 2 farmable fleets that can be faster. The guide is based on using 1 fleet to clear all 12-4. It was trying to get certain faction ships that were powerful enough to clear the content but not be too oppressive on oil. The reason for 12-4 is because of time efficiency (assuming you have high enough level ships to actually clear the content).
      The exp gain more ships while locked to a specific faction is ALSO locked to the type of fleet (Vanguard or Main). Yes, they are no longer locked to ship type, but farming for FDG with Vanguard ships wont gain any exp. Azuma is the 1 ship that flips (her first and second exp requirements change between main and vg fleet).

    • @13TitleTown
      @13TitleTown 4 роки тому +3

      Because ships only gain experience from vanguard or main fleet. Only vanguard USS ships contribute to Seattle exp, for example. She gets no exp from using USS main fleet ships, so if you need a full fleet, you just pick the main fleet options available. E.g., South Dakota does not contribute towards Seattle exp. The same applies for Georgia, FDG, Kitakaze and Gascogne.
      Azuma has two phases. In the main fleet exp stage, vanguard exp does not contribute. During the vanguard exp stage, main fleet IJN ships do not contribute towards the main fleet portion of Azuma's IJN main fleet exp.

    Isn't it pronounced "gas-cone" not gas-conay?

    • @AzurLaneMeta
      @AzurLaneMeta  4 роки тому +1

      As I mentioned earlier, my lack of the French language could result in my incorrect pronunciation and I'm sorry - ua-cam.com/video/A1tj_Z2RpJE/v-deo.html
      However it would appear Gascogne in French is translated to Gascony in English - en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gascony
      It would be helpful to know for sure going forward.
