- Weekends work best. I generally write a batch of 4-5 articles on a Friday or Saturday and post them all at once.

Hi Hudson! Thanks for your informative videos. Can you share where you get the images you use in your articles? Not the ones from unsplash, but photos of celebrities and such? I'm not having any luck on royalty-free sites. Thanks!
So, for the most part, I use the images from the websites I base my articles on. If I'm unsure if they're copyrighted or not, I'll sometimes edit them in Canva and then cite the use of Creative Commons license CC BY 4.0 -- linking to this page: creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/deed.en. But, to be honest, you can generally just use the same images as the top websites and link to their page. I've never had any issues doing this. 🙂🙌

But it seems like theres been an issue on newsbreak, articles aren't been published, I've seen complains on reddit also, saying they dont get views on their posts, readers even complain of not seeing creators content and stuffs like that.

Thanks! So, in my experience, a lot of these challenges boil down to 2 things:
1. Newsbreak's curation team is inconsistent
2. A lot of people try just reposting news articles without humanizing or rewriting them

Yep. Medium released a new statement basically saying that they don't like the use of A.I., but they also can't stop it. So, I think using A.I. to draft articles and then write them yourself is a happy medium. 🙌

I did a search on Medium re: the publication you mentioned and it seems that writers have recently stated that their income crashed. What is going on?
Yes, over the past year or so, a lot of writers have seen a decrease in earnings. It seems to be niche-specific, as my earnings have remained relatively consistent. But, the main reason for the dip in earnings is that Medium no longer offers free reads to non-members. 🙅♂

Thank u Hudson for this helpful video. I’ve just started to write on Newsbreak for 2 days. But my articles haven’t published yet. It said “Changes Needed” but when I click the “Edit” button, I can’t see the editor’s note. I also didn’t receive any email from Newsbreak about the changes I need to make. Can you tell what is happening?
Hmmm, if there's no note, it's hard to tell what you need to change. 🤔 You can always email creators@newsbreak.com, but it might be easier just to delete it and try publishing it again. There's a chance an editor made a mistake. 🤞
