it is supposed to be a single direction coupling, so the tooth faces have to be coincident while engagement
Where is the CAM Mate??? Great barrel cam design. Very Nice! Now can you mate to it? I ask because I see so many complaints about the cam mate in solidworks.

Thanks first, but I have a question, by this method you will have a shape of Circular sector, which will create problems if it works with a crank. The right way is to use swap cut.
Wonder if any one has modeled a cam follower and mate it with the cam slot for this exercise?
