I could never afford these but I picked up a pair at the thrift store for 5 bucks in great condition , washed them and scrubbed with a magic white eraser .
For your old Achilles low, you said that you wore them throw rain, snow and everything else -- what was your cleaning / water repelling routine like with these?
People are saying these are actually not $600, but $410. Either way, I think these a great value compared to an exclusive Air Jordan Sneaker that costs c.around the same.
I'm a barefoot and boots man, never really care much for shoes, but if sneakers cost $600 and last only 4 years that's not a very good shoe. people think 4-5 years is a long time but no, it is not. The white shoe looks good when it stays white but no shoe can keep it white that long before it turns yellow.
My tts is 10.5 (28.5 cm) and I'm not sure if I should purchase 42 or 43. I prefer snug fit; hate having space in my shoes. Sometimes i have to go 0.5 size up, but i dont have wide feet. I'm going to buy them soon for a decent price and need to order good size
htym my thought would be to try and go with the 42 unless you think they are just way too tight to start. Knowing how much they stretch once you break them in, I think the 42 will work for you, especially if you prefer a snug fit. Even if they feel a bit too tight at first, know that they’ll stretch and break in nicely after a few weeks
Taylor Gray Okey, thanks for answer. I have read that they stretch a lot and one guy with same tts had both sizes and returned 43. But some other people got 43. I have to make more research to be sure :D
Hi, i am a 10.5 in nike airmax 10.5 in stan smith and 11 in adidas ultraboosts and have semi wide feet. I got size 43 and it fits me fine with just a little room at the top to avoid that snug fit. I think 42 for you for a snug fit and 43 for a little room.
I’d suggest 42 if you have narrow feet. I have narrow feet and my tts is 27cm. I wear size 9.5 in vans old skool and went with size 41 in the Achilles, which is snug on me but there’s no heel slip.
Felix Wang the black with white sole is a good second pair to have. Can dress them up a little easier and not as flashy as the all white when you need something a little more low key.
Brian Mandl they are still wearable for sure. Considering getting an insole to get some support back, but otherwise they are now my beater pair that I won’t worry about dirtying 😂
Roledo Toledo they do go on sale @ SSENSE, although the core colours like white, black, grey, are hard to find on sale. Pants are from lululemon. The All Town Commute pants. Mad comfy!
Love CP! Finally got myself a pair a couple of weeks ago but they are absolutely killing my feet! Hopefully they will start to feel comfortable soon or I will cry haha
jane collins I’ve definitely been through that pain as well but they absolutely will break in, give it a few weeks and it’ll be well worth toughing it out!
They are an absolutely amazing pair of shoes but I can tell you they are not very comfortable and they cost an arm and a leg those my only complaints about them
Hey Taylor, thanks for sharing your video and experience with CP. Q: May you share that dope track (music) your playing in the back ground for us please?! Thanks!
im a size 41 eu (8 us) in vans, i tried them on long time ago but didnt buy them and i noticed that my toes where really snug ( like there werent any space between my big toe and the next toe to it) in size 7 (40 eu) and when i walked the leather would press down on my big toe and you could see a big bump where my big toe is and that would make my big toe hurt alot. should i still buy them size 7 (40 eu) and walk in them to they break in? and where can you really notice where they break in? at the toes the sides where the toes are? or the heel?
Hey man. You know of anywhere local or online to do a sole swap? love my pair and the leather is still in pretty good condition. Unfortunately i just dont have the bank rn to buy a new pair and the only thing is the heel drag! thanks in advance!
sean carter there’s a place in Kensington Market in TO called Sole Survivor. I’ve never taken any shoes there myself, but I have heard good things! Could be worth a try at least
Noticed your a 42. I fit in a 10 in stan smiths and Nike flynits, but when ordering a 42 I found them long, not sure how much room the toe box should be. Would you suggest going 41?
no they aint removable. Got a pair on my own, needs to break them in to be comfortable. If you want you can put insoles on them to make them more comfortable so that you can wear it for long hrs e.g everyday use
have you ever tried to use insoles? i find that most non athletic shoes isn't that comfortable if lets you you stand on your feet for 4-5 hrs a day. most problem not enough arch support
Was thinking about putting an insole into the 4 yr pair to bring back some support since the sole is pretty worn. Just haven't gotten around to it yet.
Slow And Easy They sold Zespa when I worked at Club Monaco. Not a bad looking shoe at all, but in my opinion the silhouette just isn’t as nice as the CPs. Seemed like quality shoes though if you’re looking for something a little more affordable
Taylor Gray yes agree with the sillouhette 👍Zespa have chunkier toe box, can't beat the slim look of CP. Keep making great content. Warm hello from Indonesia 🤙
Robert Andrew Ferrer try size 45. Most people go down a full size so you’ll want to be looking for the European equivalent of a US 11. They do stretch after a few weeks of wear so buying them snug is ok
Robert Andrew Ferrer I’m a size 11.5-12 with a semi wide foot and I went with a 45. I typically wear thinner no show socks with them and there is a tiny bit of room but would probably fit a little more snug with a normal sock. Hope that helped
Porfirio Sosa probably 4-5 times a week at first and then a bit less as I got a few other pairs. I was working in retail and on my feet all day when I first got them
Gary Taylor for the amount I’ve worn these, they’ve held up incredibly well. May seem like they haven’t lasted, but these were worn ALOT. For the years I got out of these, well worth the price in my opinion.
Taylor Gray Don't get me wrong I'd like a pair. However unlike my boots I wouldn't expect them to last for years and years. If they did however that would just be a bonus.
suede ages differently. second of all , he says 4 years of heavy duty wear. and the biggest mors important thing is that he doesnt take care of them no shoe trees and i bet he doesnt even condition these if he didnt even put shoe trees.
I don't know, I have a pair of $30 dollar Nike's that have the same shape and aesthetic, have had them for 2.5 years and have held up very well, they look kind of worn and creased up in the toe box. Still very wearable, way better value than those 400 dollar ones. Spending that much on sneakers is insane. They are a ripoff for sure, stick to cheaper, mass market shoes like Nike and Adidas, and buy like 4 or 5 pairs, probably the same for the common project ones, and rotate wear those everyday, they'll last way longer than the expensive ones. Be smart with your money.
I think you can still restore the 4 year pair to get more use out of it.
I could never afford these but I picked up a pair at the thrift store for 5 bucks in great condition , washed them and scrubbed with a magic white eraser .
Common Projects is so addicting, they just go with every outfit.
Wei L it’s true haha, another reason they are worth the price
I don't have one but I can confirm it for every white shoe that has the same silhouette.
Nope, they're different. For example, Axel Arigato's white sneakers are rounder and wider. Common Projects's silhouette is narrower.
@@weiliang5642 nope you’re justifying the price
@@weiliang5642 yeah, I agreed my man, common project's silhouette is just so ellegant
Black on white for workdays. Full white for weekend. Common projects is the epitome of minimalist shoes.
For your old Achilles low, you said that you wore them throw rain, snow and everything else -- what was your cleaning / water repelling routine like with these?
Hi there I see you’re a size 42 in these, what do you normally wear for us size? Maybe referring to Nike/vans
I just ordered my CPs in 42. I wear a 10.5 in vans. But my question is where did u get that hoodie? I like the no hoodie string look
Casual Dillon thanks yo! Hoodie is from Zara.
True to size? Small? Large?
People are saying these are actually not $600, but $410. Either way, I think these a great value compared to an exclusive Air Jordan Sneaker that costs c.around the same.
Hi, nice video! I’m a US 9.5. What size should I order CPs in?
I'm a barefoot and boots man, never really care much for shoes, but if sneakers cost $600 and last only 4 years that's not a very good shoe. people think 4-5 years is a long time but no, it is not. The white shoe looks good when it stays white but no shoe can keep it white that long before it turns yellow.
Will you sell your used shoes
I can't say Ive ever had a pair of shoes last 4 years
My tts is 10.5 (28.5 cm) and I'm not sure if I should purchase 42 or 43. I prefer snug fit; hate having space in my shoes. Sometimes i have to go 0.5 size up, but i dont have wide feet. I'm going to buy them soon for a decent price and need to order good size

Warne Jan Thank you for your advice!
I’d suggest 42 if you have narrow feet.
I have narrow feet and my tts is 27cm. I wear size 9.5 in vans old skool and went with size 41 in the Achilles, which is snug on me but there’s no heel slip.
Have you tried the Koio line? if you have how do they compare with the CPs
If they don't fit, can they be returned for another size?
@@tommynguyen9238 thks so much Tommy. I will check out those suggestions
Got a pair of white ones and loved it ever since. Thinking about getting a pair of grey ones or black ones. Any recommendation?
Felix Wang the black with white sole is a good second pair to have. Can dress them up a little easier and not as flashy as the all white when you need something a little more low key.
why not trying out Koio for a change?
Where in Toronto did u purchase?
Well at that price point they better last 4+ years.
Jorge Abreu they always hit the sale 30-60% off, so they arent that expensive
A same pair of converse would last the same amount of time rofl. You're paying for brand not quality.
shootingmen show me a pair of converse with the same leather lmao
Didnt say they're made of the same exact material. Just that they'll be just as durable.
And yes, there are full-grain leather converse that goes for much cheaper. So, do your research.
Man, great review! How much life do you think you still have in that 4 year pair, considering the wear on the sole? I love that worn in look a lot.
Brian Mandl they are still wearable for sure. Considering getting an insole to get some support back, but otherwise they are now my beater pair that I won’t worry about dirtying 😂
If I'm a half size like 9.5 US (Between 42 and 43EU), should I size down to a 42 or 41 for a snug fit?
is it comfortable?
Thanks for the video! Btw, where are your sofa and chair from?
Ruben Montane EQ3! Some good Canadian made furniture
Thanks Taylor! I hope you're doing well! Looking forward to more videos!
May I ask what is the size you usually wear? I usually wear 42.5 to 43, but most people seem to down 1 size for common projects
Did you size up? Size down?
Do they go on sale @ SSENSE? When? Also, what pants are those?
Roledo Toledo they do go on sale @ SSENSE, although the core colours like white, black, grey, are hard to find on sale. Pants are from lululemon. The All Town Commute pants. Mad comfy!
Ohhh I see. Do you recommend copping on on ebay? Are there things that I should be wary of when buying CPs ion ebay?
P.S. The All Town Commute is not on lululemon's website.
Do you have -any- sizing advice?
thePowerPlant most people seem to go down a full size. I wear a US 10 in Nike and Adidas and the 42 fits perfectly
Same. I wear 10 in Nike and I wear 42 in CP
Taylor Gray, what about for someone who wears a size 8.5 in nike and adidas running shoes would you suggest 40 or 41
Taylor Gray, and i wear a 9 in vans
joe 41
They run narrow but long on feet
Love CP! Finally got myself a pair a couple of weeks ago but they are absolutely killing my feet! Hopefully they will start to feel comfortable soon or I will cry haha

I love Common Projects, but I hate how they always eventually tear in the heel. Makes me afraid to wear mine, especially with how old they are.
Noticed your a 42. I fit in a 10 in stan smiths and Nike flynits, but when ordering a 42 I found them long, not sure how much room the toe box should be. Would you suggest going 41?
Pyonz24 yes , you need to go down a size in CP
What do you use to clean them?
do you keep these in shoe trees?
Jeb767 I had been for a while and will for the new pair. Definitely helps keep the shape
is the insole removable?
no they aint removable. Got a pair on my own, needs to break them in to be comfortable. If you want you can put insoles on them to make them more comfortable so that you can wear it for long hrs e.g everyday use

Landon Shein ordered these online from SSENSE, but you could try Gravity Pope

urse its an older hoodie from Zara. Gotta go bargain sometimes to afford the shoes 😂

nice video...I have the blush pair and love it, I also had the bball low but sadly it was too small for me and I had to sell them
what do you wear with blush pair?
How do these compare to a US size 9, true to size?
I'm a US 10 in just about every other shoe I wear. 42's are tight to begin with but they stretch and break in nicely after a few weeks
Where is that couch from? Anybody know?
It's from EQ3
They are not $600
Lues Canadian Dollar.
The tear on the heel is upsetting.
Nice vid!
Does the numbering fade off easily ?
Cocodoitforme Blahblah not at all, still there on all the pairs I have. Even the 4 year pair it’s still held
They're nice trainers but they haven't worn any better than a pair of Adidas. I've never had a pair of trainers rip like that either.

almost anything goes
if its not your everyday shoes, its hard to tell if they last long enough. 4 years means nothing if you wear them only 2-3 times a week
100$ a year isn't worth...
My suede Puma sneakers bought for $80 looked better 8 years later than those after 4 years
