I'm actually so sad, I really liked the firsr AOA album and when they released "The Madness" single and announced that Scott Stapp was the new frontmant I was really excited! I really wish he would've did everything on his end

A killer fucking song period! AOA are very much worthy of more attention if not the same as any other band including Alter Bridge. Also in regards to Creed and Scott himself what is people's deals? First with Creed if you don't like it then don't fucking listen to it. It's really just that simple but no people have to make this overblown dramatic statements about how Creed is so bad when in reality it's not serious. Creed for me was fine sure not every song was a winner. But I'm not as easily offended as some folks which speaks volumes and says you need to grow some thicker skin. I had no idea dave draiman had a co writing credit in this song. Clearly this was meant as a Disturbed track because John moyer from Disturbed is part of the band. I like Scott but now I wanna hear David's voice on this.
i remember in an interview that they were writing this and Moyer and I think Stapp played this song over a video call w Draiman and he came up with the chorus melody

Why do I got a feeling that it doesn't matter how good these guys are together, no matter how much critical acclaim they ever achieve, no matter if they put together a string of like 5 five-star albums in a row, people are just going to shit on this band because Scott Stapp.
I mean yeah, Scott can be really fucking cheesy and melodramatic. And he sounds a lot like Eddie Vedder vocally. I mean A LOT like Eddie Vedder (it also doesn't help the Creed themselves often sounded like a Celtic tinged Christian Pearl Jam). But to sit here and say Scott's never written a good song, ever, or that he can't sing at all, is just plain crazy. He has some bad tendencies, he can sometimes come across as having a Messiah Complex, and it apparently a mean drunk, but he also does have some degree of talent. He would have never reached the heights he did if he didn't.
