Evolution of Scott's Music: Arguably Grunge and Rock (with STP) Hard Rock (with VR) Rock Metal (with Art of Anarchy) Rock (Wildabouts) . Truly a Rock Star! My best front man ever!
I was going to say Rob Halford or James Hetfield, but after remembering there's a distinct difference between Rock & Metal, I agree with you. I imagine that even those who disagree would at at least agree that a solid argument could be made that he's the best frontman in the history of rock. His demons may have made it to where he wasn't the easiest to work with, but he brings not just the look, but also the sound, charisma & above all, one hell of a lyricist.
I think your sample base must be limited. Granted, it’s subjective, but even though he was great, he was no Robert Plant, Layne Staley, Bono, Chris Cornell, Roger Daltrey, Chester Bennington, Michael Hutchence, hell I don’t know if he makes top 20.
@@KnightsInSatansService Hetfield is probably hands down the best in metal. As far as front men go, again, Scott had a great presence, but he was no Robert Plant, Perry Ferrell, Bono, Freddie Mercury, Michael Hutchence, Mick Jagger, Steven Tyler, David Bowie, Roger Daltrey, Joe Strummer…. and you have to do more than slither at the mic because you’re too strung out most of the time to work the stage. IMO
I’m glad that Creed Singer Scott Stapp stepped in for another album in his memory- he put some fame into the band, and my God his voice and heavy metal band imitations! Wow...
Alguien esta de acuerdo con que este tema esta infravalorado , lo he vuelto a escuchar varias veces pero esto es una pieza de arte!!! NAMESTE Y F POR SCOTT
I don't want to knock this project because, I do like this album, I bought it. but, I feel as though the only thing that saved this from being a generic rock record was Scott's great melodies and singing.
Not heard the whole album. But if you based your opinion on this song, it seems like that. However, I think it is only because the whole song is based on the melody. I surmise that the melody got written ahead of the other parts of the song. It's like a reverse of what Ozzy did in Black Sabbath. Ozzy's melody just mimics the guitar riff.
The vocal melody reminds me of Heavens on Fire in parts. Doesn't really matter, though. As long as the song rocks! And rock it does! Too bad this project never really panned out with Scott [RIP]
Did I step in to an alternate reality? Why have I never heard of this? I could have sworn The Wildabouts was the last thing Scott did before he died and there was nothing else?
No he did this whole album with these guys did 2 videos as well. He was paid to do the work and finished it back in 2013. They released the vid and album and then Scott denied ever being involved with the project. Drugs man they make you crazy. Good album but the never did any shows or anything like that. RIP Scott
Yeah, when this came out Weiland completely distanced himself from it. It was very strange. But that’s why you’ve never heard of it. By the time it was released, Weiland was no longer in the band and they were looking for a new singer. Can’t really promote an album when the most famous member says he hardly remembers doing it and you don’t have a new singer to tour with.
@@chrisozmcintosh8891 Honestly, what he should have distanced himself from was that solo album. It was pretty inferior in every way. From what I gather the reason he wanted to distance himself from Art of Anarchy is because they wanted him to get clean. Instead he surrounded himself with a bunch of Yes Men and it cost him his life.
+santulipsyco I know Scott didn't really have anything to do with the music on this record, but it is interesting that one of his first songs (Sex Type Thing) ripped off KISS's "War Machine", and one of his last rips off "Heaven's On Fire".
Anyone liking this stuff needs to listen to "The Drift" from this album. Way better than this. Huge weiland fan. Had doubts about this band but it's growing on me. Check out The Drift now, then check Aqualung. Drift should've been first single.
+TheSporehacker I don't think it is. Perhaps from a release date perspective but he was touring with the Wildabouts and he had a music video with them called Modzilla.
Well the music of the entire album was written solely by Jon and Vince Votta. Scott only contributed lyrics to the existing arrangements, so maybe thats why it doesnt sound very Weiland-ey
Isaac Mendez sorta the reason the first velvet revolver album didn't sound like Scott's work. Most of it was written by velvet revolver and some of the guys from buck cherry too.
I saw the album of this guys in best buy and then i decided to hear them cause the "anarchy" in the name of the band expecting a punk or hardcore punk band i know what you would say im a asshole
I love Scott's voice here!

Awesome! .... I hope Scott continues with this band. It's just great.
Yeah well, he died last week 😔
+harmanLOa you might have a point there...
I’m glad that Creed Singer Scott Stapp stepped in for another album in his memory- he put some fame into the band, and my God his voice and heavy metal band imitations! Wow...

Ciao Scott!!!
Chorus almost goes into Heaven on Fire .. Kiss .. I like though because Weiland was a GOD and may he rest well
Love Scott , HUGE fan but before I scrolled to see the comments I looked at my husband and said " Heaven's on Fire ? " . Still a really good song .

Digging the music and band 3rd song I heard from them an I'm already into it
Have you ever been half way through a song but are still waiting for it to start. Decent song just need more instruments to be heard.
Nailed it
enuff enuff video's
+Jason McLevain thats exactly how i felt with this!!
+Jason McLevain nice vocals though
Listen to it on a higher end two channel stereo and you'll hear it the way it was intended to be heard. UA-cam doesn't do the song justice.
rip scott 🕊️
Some Layne from AIc? Makes me feel like I'm listening to Alice in chains back when they started!🎬🎤🎹🎶🎼🎧👣🍀
That's not a bad thing. Haha
"I'm not in the band"

Nice!!
Scott looks like Bowie in this video.
Essa banda é incrível! Tomara que Scott pare de besteira e continue na banda.
Ótima banda mesmo, quem sabe Scott fique.

I want to cover this song. or recreate it on my lap top with my vocals.
Heaven's on fire, anyone?
Yeah man, Ooooohhhh… Heaven's on Fire… KISS in every moment
RIP Scott
lembra muito Kiss no refrão kkk Heavens on Fire kkk
Did I step in to an alternate reality? Why have I never heard of this? I could have sworn The Wildabouts was the last thing Scott did before he died and there was nothing else?
Robert Hoyt I agree. Feels like a Mandela effect.

The wildabouts is the last thing he worked on but this album is the last released with his vocals
Heavens on fire??
Exactly!! Just different enough to be a legal derivative. Glad someone else had the ear to catch it

Is this scott weiland's last music video?
+pjkr123 Sad but true. It is
+TheSporehacker this band hasn't even made a single concert!
+TheSporehacker I don't think it is. Perhaps from a release date perspective but he was touring with the Wildabouts and he had a music video with them called Modzilla.
So there could be more material out there
This was his last music video. He died 4 months after we shot this.
Someone can send the lyrics?
This was a better gig for him than Blaster.
I agree. "Blaster" was a big letdown. A sad ending to a great career.
RIP Scott Weiland 🍻
I wonder why they cant get a singer. There playing is good
KISS Heavens on fire inspired ...I like the blaster album and own every one of scotts albums even 12 bar blues and to me this isn't scotts work...
Daveyboy that's why the chorus sounds familiar haha.

Baffling why he went on to disown the work on the album.
❤❤ #hungary
I don't know how Gene Simmons did not try to sue the band claiming copyrights based on Kiss' song Heaven's On Fire.
Because the words were changed
KISS Heavens on fire?
Scoot ?
What a sad day
This is is so much better than his solo stuff, wish he would stick with this band...
that look..
Scott sounds like David Bowie on this cut.
Paint it black??
no heavens on fire..kiss
Scott :(
I was like that sounds like Scott Weiland..lol duh, then I read. .. hahaha! I know his voice!

And, what did you think? Did you like it nontheless?
Scott fucks up every band he's in.
He didn't fuck this one up.
A huge statement in this project: a wasted Weiland could still have layed down amazing vocals on a total pointless bunch of generic hard rock tracks.
i see arch enemy:(
I actually prefer this band over the Wildabouts. They have better songs than this one for a video though. IMO

I love this song but to me it seems like everyone is trying their hardest to play louder than everyone else
Not a fan of the chorus, but the rest of this song is pretty fucking good.
I like when he says lets go
all i can think of "heaven's on fire"
❌❌✔❌
The guitar work pales in comparison to the amazing vocals.
Chorus: Sounds like Kiss, " Heaven on Fire". OK. But no money maker.
Without Scott, this song would fucking suck
Poor guy couldn't beat those demons! Goes to show you money and fame mean nothing! Broken dude....
This album sounded like a generic rock album. Scott Weiland was the only positive.
Chorus at 1.25 speed, thank me later
Hmmm....not totally sure how I feel about this xD
