Great story. I’ve always been a big fan of the old board track racers. The patina, especially on the engines, is amazing.

Very good video bro. I built a 2 stroke motorized bicycle a little over two years ago and now I'm addicted to the hobby. Whenever I go out for a ride I feel free like all my problems just disappear. I'm always making improvements on it. I love this hobby and hope to do it for years to come.

Thank you for making this video, I deeply admire the fact that you want to work with your boys and to be with them, it reminded me of how my dad would do the same, whether thats out in the field's plantings corn, or building a new piece of furniture, keep making videos like this one, God is good!

You need to do a step by step build series on one of your bikes, some of us aren't able to figure things out and don't know anyone

I grew up in a pastors household, where my dad had to take on extra mechanical work to supliment our income and also help those in need of automotive help. I was always in the garage with my dad and it was a great influence on my life to see the reality of his dedication to Jesus. It was also an education that i have found incredibly useful as I also enered the ministry. I now teach and council at a local mission where we try to reach the dis-churched and restore broyhers and sisters. The automotive analogies are not few! I also have 25yrs in the bicycle industry along with motorcycle restoration and have built a few motorised bikes. As one who has experience doing this i can say with credence that your bikes are of fine craftsmanship.
    Keep making "tents" brother.

Hello Seymour I was wondering who you’d as a historically accurate boardtrack frame builder. I’ve checked Harken and Madmoto they seem to be hit and miss as in finding one. Unless I’m not to good at navigating websites which may very well be the case. I do not know what is and isn’t a scam I just want to get a boardtrack racer and do a project while I’m young.

Madmoto is out of business and his website is down. Harken can be reached on ebay but has recently received negative reviews and he's using another ebay name (axiongreen). Definitely use at your own risk. I have a small stock of frames/ tanks that I'm willing to sell. Shoot me an email at info@seymourcycleworks.com.
