First of all THANK YOU!!! Even though I don’t have the shako or Tyreal and don’t have the skills specified in my gear, following this build as close as I possibly can has been amazing!!! I’m shredding through lvl 150 nmds and just powering through content. I can’t wait to have the full gear set up!

Your builds are usually the ones I look forward to most. Last seasons frozen orb build you shared brought me to pit tier 113 with mostly mid tier rolls on gear. I got lucky with a solid fractured winterglass drop but having trouble with rng his season towards a pair of Esu’s. I have even leveling with an Axial Conduit build but not interested in the chain lightning play style loop. I had more fun with frozen orb conjugation set up, and this lightning spear focus looks fantastic. Thank you for sharing!
Great build! :D You can save 1 point on the Starter paragon board: - take the Int right beneath the glyph - remove the other 1 Int and Dex to the left of that - remove the Int under the Int you just removed - take the Dex to the right of the Glyph You can improve the Elemental Summoner board: - move the Willpower that's immediately right of the Glyph to the row below - remove the Int that was above and right of the Willpower you just removed - take the +7.5% Conjuration Damage below the Glyph - take the Conjurer node underneath (this essentially replaces 2 individual +5 Int nodes with a +10 Int node and +60% Conjuration damage) As for the rest, I got a pretty similar Paragon board. Do you find Damage Resist vs Vulnerable effective? I went the route of taking Vulnerable Damage % nodes instead. Also, I'm experimenting with using Static Surge board and take some of those "Damage % vs Stunned" nodes, which synergizes well with LS.
@@GoldfarmingGuide while at it, have you considered the Invocations glyph? It easily provides +150% Critical Damage for Conjuration (perfect for the Lightning Spear) AND still provides 15% DR - it's at the very least a strong replacement for Reinforced, and I don't see anyone using it...
I been working on my own frozen orb build without any guides and it looks very similar to this, except I had been focusing on icespike instead of conjur stuff. But in practice the gameplay/rotation is basically the same. Think I might give this variant a try, thanks!
Nice video. Question. I am testing the midgame build but I have zero life generation. Am I doing something wrong or do I have to roll something onto my gear? I was thinking about changing Concussive Strikes to Undying Aspect on pants. Also mana seems to be an issue for me, especially on bosses but maybe it's just bad skills :D Never played this build before.

Great guide as always. I have a rather big question though. Regarding the Aspect Of Splintering Energy "This damage is increased by your Critical Strike Damage Bonus.”" part.. How much does the damage increase from CSD Bonus? Whenever I add CSD on gear the number on the aspect never goes up. There are no details or stats that indicate anything

I think he might have misspoken or something else. The reason you don’t put points into spear are because the damage doesn’t come from the spear it’s the new aspect for spear that’s 99% of its damage so the extra points basically do nothing for your overall dmg so it better spent elsewhere.

My pit MAX is 105 and I barely can do it. For pants I use Tibits Will and for the Weapon Doombringer. The only other difference is the Tal Ring not usig I have a 2 GA ring that has good Crit Strike Chance, etc....but what else can I change out is the pants and Doom holding me back. What pit level can you easlily clear with your build.

For the gloves I’m liking fists of fate, I was able to get a GA on the crowd control effect and got a 290 roll with it. Just curious if you feel the gloves can be interchangeable

@@wfsm1th he means he's not playing it with a 1h and a focus. You will lose out on half of the potential damage of every single lightning spear by NOT using a staff. The damage comes from the Splintering Energy affix, not the spears themselves, so being able to double that affix is huge. Attack speed is mostly irrelevant for the build because once you have it up and running, you're only occasionally going to throw out a Frozen Orb, once you engage in a fight, the FOs will just happen on their own from the Winterglass amulet, and you're pressing Spear as soon as it comes off cooldown. Attack speed doesn't mean much compared to double the power of the main aspect that actually does your damage.
One quick question about this build, I'm starting to switch gear to try it. Are the Esus Heirloom a must for something specific besides the CHD affix and the extra CHC? I ask because I have a godly pair of boots with 8/8 MW with 6 mana per second, almost max armor and GA movement speed. At 8/8 I crit mana per second and chance to freeze so I love them haha. Would you use them or Heirloom on your build? I can switch back and forth but would be hard to give up all that move speed and could also roll other stuff on pants if not using tibault's for example.
It's not a "must" but it gives you a very big damage boost (like at least doubles if not triples your damage) Conjuration mastery will cap you on movement speed anyway.

Is it better to focus on orb than lightning spear casting twice? I believe those guides used fists of fate as well for the lucky hit procs, and they used a 2 hand staff for higher damage on the lightning spear aspect. I guess they are focused on damage per cast and not on attack speed.
@@GoldfarmingGuide tried both setups out! So far 1h and source is working better for me with a smoother gameplay using accelerating aspect. I think 2H is for late late game with high masterworks and shako to fix the cdr issues! I dropped unstable currents and running ice blades on the bar instead, it’s a lot smoother that way. My unstable cd was like 60 seconds lol.
With a wand already melting everything in sight, what kind of an affect would a staff of GA INT/DMG with a roll of health or crit damage for the 3rd be a strong boost to this build or is that DMG GA not a big contributor to the damage you get from wand/focus focusing on crit dmg?

In your notes on the build guide, a weakness is weak against boss. But your vids show killing lilith and uber bosses. Im confused. I want to try to build but the weakness against boss worries me.

Followed this skill tree to a T at lvl 75 and I am short on skill points? Like what? You're sayin max this and that but have one point in it? Unstable currents isn't even listed in your skill tree line up but mentioned in the enhancements? *_* I am confused. WHat does the key passive Esu have to do with the build if you are using Vyr's?
@@isseyphresh82max out as in get the upgrades on the tree. You only put 1 point into the base skill because the spears themselves aren't doing much of the damage, the explosions from the Splintering Energy affix are doing the damage and this is not affected by the base damage of the skill.
Is this viable with a 0.1 CDR Winterglass, I have found 3 Winterglasses with 0.1 CDR but all with very good rolls, one even has a GA. Does this build rely on LS cooldown as much as the pure LS build ?
lightning spear scales with crit damage. Crit damage is higher roll. Also there is no benefit in getting vuln damage. It's just additive damage at a lower roll than crit so basically its garbage
Like your take on the build! However, if LS is the primary damage source. Dont we want *chance for a second LS when cast* on weapons? Or do you spawn more LS with FO projectile?
Really struggling to get more than 34% Atk Speed. Tried adjusting paragon, have Atk speed on gear,used potion, tempering and nothing seems to raise it, always 32-34%. The only item I am missing is starless skies, which would at least get me in low 50's
@@GoldfarmingGuide Yea i wasn't paying attention in the video i guess. After watching more closely, i see you were adding in the 49% from the aspect. I finally got starless ring today, got 2AS tempers and now I am at 53.4 plus from the ancient flame aspect, that would put me at 103. Sucks being old sometimes... lol
Can someone help me? How do you keep up the frozen orbs? I run out of mana so fast and I have Harlequn mask and starless sky ring aswell. I dunno what I’m doing wrong I copied this build
I wasn't understanding it either until I read the max roll guide. You get mana from the conjuration passive. It increases Mana regen for each conjuration cast. Lightning spear casts = mana
I noticed on my Build that Tal Rasha Ring is currently bugged and only gives you have of the Cooldown Reduction that it shows. Can somebody confirm that?
I have Harlequin, Tyral, Tibaults, Esu and a very very good staff. 2 GA with perfect roll Critic dmg. But cant kill 110 boss. I cant deal single damage. Why do you think so? Whats the missing part of the puzzle. All dungeon is under 1 min. I cant kill boss in 14 min !!!!
@@GoldfarmingGuide Fundamentally I don't understand why though, all the damage comes from Splintering Energy. Wouldn't it make more sense to: Switch to 2H and use Splintering Energy (more damage). Vyr's Mastery instead of Esu's(25% DR w/ 100% uptime), and use Frozen Orbit instead of Ancient Flame. Switch your spare 6 points from Frozen Orb to Shimmering Teleport (another near 100% uptime 30% DR), Prime Unstable Currents, then spare 2 points into either Align the Elements or Icy Veil (or anything really) Even though we don't have amazing Unstable uptime, it's still a big damage & CDR boost
fireball has it's limit because it has no scalability out of conjuration mastery. Fireball is great early game but it will cap out mich faster thanthis

@@Longie I’m still using the old gear with chance to cast lightning spear twice instead of frozen orb. Noticed that single target is lacking. Maybe I need to max out frozen orb and focus more on that then spear.
@@GoldfarmingGuideI wouldn’t say “very” different. Talents are 90% the same except u invested a few extra points into frozen orb/teleport and Mekuna put them into flame wall/charged bolts. I guess his key passive is different, but that can be a preference to flex to vyr’s mastery if u are pushing harder hitting content. Aspects and gear are the exact same except u opted for starless skies and swapped that aspect to a focus. His paragon board takes a few more glyphs, but overall the majority of the glyphs are the same. There is even the same exact abilities on the action bar 😅 Either way, cool build 👍
i was really about to open a rogue because i want every season to try a different char started in s3 it was sorc and necro>s4 barb>s5 wanted a rogue but i guess im going sorc again thanks :D

That amulet is a pain to drop from Zir. Still nothing after 14 runs.
Im still using a sacred one I found a while ago. Not the best at lv 90+ but it works

@@kellpt doesn’t work with lightning spear because the aspect does the damage not the spear itself

Assuming you are using the fire bolt Enchantment, you can temper Warmth onto chest/pants, and/or put points into it

shako just gives you extra damage really. You can just run any helm and put a random damage reduction aspect on it.

it doesnt display in the tooltip. Its a 1:1 increase for the base damage so it basically double dips with your crit dmg

@@Aridity12 2000 * 6 if you had 500% crit damage would be the base damage. And then it would go through the regular calculation from there

it is not 40% crit chance, it is 40% crit chance of your movement speed bonus.
Which means about 7% crit chance at a max roll boots.

bascially all the dmg comes from the Armour effect, so just 1 point.

I have been using an inconsiderate build and doing nightmare dungeons 40-48 levels above me

This gear has threshold which will NOT allow you push high Pit. The issue is Flame Shield gap in cooldown.
o_O flameshield is not a requirement to push pits.

@@GoldfarmingGuide tried both setups out! So far 1h and source is working better for me with a smoother gameplay using accelerating aspect. I think 2H is for late late game with high masterworks and shako to fix the cdr issues! I dropped unstable currents and running ice blades on the bar instead, it’s a lot smoother that way. My unstable cd was like 60 seconds lol.

With a wand already melting everything in sight, what kind of an affect would a staff of GA INT/DMG with a roll of health or crit damage for the 3rd be a strong boost to this build or is that DMG GA not a big contributor to the damage you get from wand/focus focusing on crit dmg?
the contributor is splintering on 2 hand staff. It does more damage but requires significantly more gear to get going

I tried it in Pit 129ish. It gives you extra damage, but I needed frigit breeze and resource II elixir to get it work

these build come online a little later than level 50 yes. It requires paragon board and leveld glyphs. Definetly nothing you want to play at level 50

In your notes on the build guide, a weakness is weak against boss. But your vids show killing lilith and uber bosses. Im confused. I want to try to build but the weakness against boss worries me.

@@isseyphresh82max out as in get the upgrades on the tree. You only put 1 point into the base skill because the spears themselves aren't doing much of the damage, the explosions from the Splintering Energy affix are doing the damage and this is not affected by the base damage of the skill.
Is this viable with a 0.1 CDR Winterglass, I have found 3 Winterglasses with 0.1 CDR but all with very good rolls, one even has a GA. Does this build rely on LS cooldown as much as the pure LS build ?

If you have so many lightning spears causing vulnerability, why not max out on vuln instead of crit dmg?
lightning spear scales with crit damage. Crit damage is higher roll. Also there is no benefit in getting vuln damage. It's just additive damage at a lower roll than crit so basically its garbage

Really struggling to get more than 34% Atk Speed. Tried adjusting paragon, have Atk speed on gear,used potion, tempering and nothing seems to raise it, always 32-34%. The only item I am missing is starless skies, which would at least get me in low 50's
how? You get 10% from paragon, 15% elixir, and every ring/gloves with greater affix is 16.9% each
@@GoldfarmingGuide Yea i wasn't paying attention in the video i guess. After watching more closely, i see you were adding in the 49% from the aspect. I finally got starless ring today, got 2AS tempers and now I am at 53.4 plus from the ancient flame aspect, that would put me at 103. Sucks being old sometimes... lol

He means just cast it. Go whichever way you want and spam it. You just want the spears ro proc.
on console you probably even hit mobs with frozen orb this might be so much stronger on console haha

I wasn't understanding it either until I read the max roll guide. You get mana from the conjuration passive. It increases Mana regen for each conjuration cast. Lightning spear casts = mana
I noticed on my Build that Tal Rasha Ring is currently bugged and only gives you have of the Cooldown Reduction that it shows. Can somebody confirm that?
how do you measure that? Cooldown reduction is multiplicative. So if you have 50% and you put on another 10% it goes to 55% not to 60%

I have Harlequin, Tyral, Tibaults, Esu and a very very good staff. 2 GA with perfect roll Critic dmg. But cant kill 110 boss. I cant deal single damage. Why do you think so? Whats the missing part of the puzzle. All dungeon is under 1 min. I cant kill boss in 14 min !!!!
Paragon boards. Check into those.

@@GoldfarmingGuide Fundamentally I don't understand why though, all the damage comes from Splintering Energy. Wouldn't it make more sense to:
Switch to 2H and use Splintering Energy (more damage). Vyr's Mastery instead of Esu's(25% DR w/ 100% uptime), and use Frozen Orbit instead of Ancient Flame.
Switch your spare 6 points from Frozen Orb to Shimmering Teleport (another near 100% uptime 30% DR), Prime Unstable Currents, then spare 2 points into either Align the Elements or Icy Veil (or anything really)
Even though we don't have amazing Unstable uptime, it's still a big damage & CDR boost

Fireball is not so good for single target
fireball has it's limit because it has no scalability out of conjuration mastery. Fireball is great early game but it will cap out mich faster thanthis

@@Longie I’m still using the old gear with chance to cast lightning spear twice instead of frozen orb. Noticed that single target is lacking. Maybe I need to max out frozen orb and focus more on that then spear.
@@GoldfarmingGuideI wouldn’t say “very” different. Talents are 90% the same except u invested a few extra points into frozen orb/teleport and Mekuna put them into flame wall/charged bolts. I guess his key passive is different, but that can be a preference to flex to vyr’s mastery if u are pushing harder hitting content.
Aspects and gear are the exact same except u opted for starless skies and swapped that aspect to a focus.
His paragon board takes a few more glyphs, but overall the majority of the glyphs are the same.
There is even the same exact abilities on the action bar 😅

My broken season 4 build is out damaging a sorcerer build. Looking at season 4 sorc to this season sorc... that is fast.
