This was awesome!!!
The live songs they've done so far from the new album, "You Must Burn" is the best song from the album that they've done live, best overall on many levels. But I'm waiting to see if they do Inamorata live.
As a Bassist, that bass slide may be so simple but is just perfection. Sticks out so well in the song, and fits perfectly.
Same man, I'm a bass player too and I love my slides^^ Rob's slides in this song are just "chefs kiss"
I was at both shows and this song together with If Darkness Had A Song were the best live songs from 72 Seasons. Amazing. And it’s been said many times, but James’ vocals are maybe the best since ever.
He's definitely a better singer now than ever. The raspy throaty barking from '88-'93 is missed though, but I get it, he's much older now and that style from back then was physically damaging his voice. But for this style of music, being almost 60 years old, James sounds great.😊
Yeah, they were feeling it. You can tell how much they enjoy playing these new songs and how great they sound is making the audience really vibe with it. A lot of the naysaying reviewers got into their critique mode too quickly I think. great album, great video, great review, Chainsaw!
Agreed on all counts. I'll be honest, I liked this album from the moment I heard the first few releases. I'm just baffled by the people who say it is disappointing???! I am so enjoying listening to 72 Seasons. The riffs and some of the harmony guitar parts give me goosebumps! It's like they've captured the feel of "Ride" and "Master" with some of the gloss of the Black album and a little "Load". But I feel Bob Rock, as good as he was for launching them into the mainstream, took some of their spontaneity away and ability to come up with truly exciting riffs. However, it's like they've found that sweet spot now and are able to combine the best of both worlds! Long may the 'Tallica reign!
I been listening for this album on shuffle mode non stop, every song has its nice moments and i cant skip any. Top work tbf
6:07 I LOVE That guitar lick by Kirk !!!!! So great ! 🤩
Dat bassline.
Dat beautiful yellow drum kit.
👍👏🤘
The new album is special. It feels like it’s ours, for the fans.
I was there, first row next to Justin Crews! I felt every kick drum Lars hit.
Is was there, it really great!!!!!!! That harmony section sounded especially nice
This song is so fricking good. Live and studio versions are both fire!!!
Check out 72 Seasons from Amsterdam!! That’s one you haven’t done yet… it’s amazing!!
This is one of my favorite songs of the new album. I was so excited how great it sounded live 🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼Loved both nights in Amsterdam 🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼
I love the live sound of this album…. Plays amazing live. And of course love your reactions 🎉🎉
Im with you on this one mate.
I love this song
And if the tallica boys get their arses back to Australia ill be going to the show and hope the play this one.
I was at both shows and they were awesome!!
Until now, all live versions of the album sound better then the studio, as they were made to be played like that. I just can get enough of 72 seasons.
Their studio albums are way to compressed so you can’t hear the music properly, live the songs sound as they should and they are much better for it.
@MrNixity the one good thing I can say about the live version, is Kirk's solos are balanced in the mix with the other guys. There's some songs on the album where Kirk's guitar solo is pulled up in the mix so high you can barely hear James' rythyms at all.
Totally agree. This is the song
I was there hehe loved the new album live.
I didn't think this song could sound any heavier. I was wrong.
I was at this show, they played it live really well!
Please react to 72 season song live ! this song live is AMAZING too
I reacted to the one they did in that studio awhile back.
@@ChainsawReacts i know but the first show in Amsterdam is was so fking Nice ! The quality and the sound was good
That live version is toight like a tyger
Dude I was there.. the fact that this happened right in front of me blew my mind. I kept saying I wanted them to play You must burn, and when James said that I lost my shit haha I uploaded a great video of them playing it if you want to check that out Chainsaw, just from a different angle.
I hope to hear this in august 4th or aug 6th. I wanna hear inamorata live when i go
Cool u going to NJ shows how much friend for ticket
"Put yourself out if you're on fire" classic James humour.
For the most part I think Kirk actually sounded better than the studio version because there was less wah. Hell must have froze over. I am dying to live! Cry out! I’m trapped under iccccceeeee!
nice air battery bro!!
Did you hear James' comment at the end of the song? It was hilarious. I think this was the best live debut of a song so far as well. You Must Burn! is an awesome song that has the Harvester of Sorrow groove to it with the pauses in in the riff. Also, @ChainsawReacts are you a drummer?
Really impressed with all the new stuff live... I wish lars snare was a little meater like the black album it could just be the stadium dynamic tho.. it just sounds a little light/dry to me.
Cool reaction song is So GD. Album is awesome 👍👍 to.
My gf bought me that same shirt😂
I think having three years off due to really rejuvenated and reinvigorated the band! They all have way more energy than I saw from them on the Hardwired live vids, and look like they’re having a lot more fun too. Even Kirk is killing it! Of course since this was the big premiere / start of their tour maybe they were on some of those “special vitamins.” 🤷🏻♂️🍻🤘🏻
Still can’t find my way in on this song. It’s not a bad song but it’s probably my least favorite on the album. I am glad they play it well. I’m looking forward to them playing Room of Mirrors.
he sounds like ghost
Please React for "Xmen Evolution "
It’s too bad you could barely hear Rob on that “heat of the night” part. I have a friend who was there and he said the acoustics of this stadium aren’t good and you could barely hear Rob throughout the concert.
Love this song on the album. It’s a bit boring live
This song just doesn't do it for me. The second half is better, but it just sounds tired. If Darkness had a son for me is a much heavier and hard hitting song.
Not a big fan of this song.
