Great video, I don't know if you read these comments now as its been a long time since your last video, but thank you. This was the video that made me decide to take my qualifications after I looked into amateur radio last month. 3 weeks ago Foundation, one week ago, Intermediate, and next Friday, the Full - you did say book them asap... Your videos really enthused me about amateur radio, I hope you're still enjoying it.

Passed the Full reasonably well (78% 1 mark less than you) after a week of immersing myself in the book and watching UA-cam videos, the Full was a lot harder than the Intermediate in the depth of question, but your method you explain here was the same that I employed, confident on about 30, reasonably ok with another 10 or so, flagged about 15 of which 5 I had no idea and guessed (educated guess) the rest after a quick reduction of the possible answers (4 just missed that part o the syllabus in the rush, one I knew I had known but forgot the "trick") It took me about an hour as I wasn't rushing like the previous ones. Again, thanks for these videos they really helped me decide to do it.

Thanks RF Rev. That's been most helpful. I've just passed my Intermediate, and think I could do my Full straight away after the learning I have done over that last few months. I await the actual book, and then will book in!
    Cheers

Well done matey. Did my Foundation last May and the Intermediate is September and now debating about whether or not to go for the Full. (The Intermediate did my head in to be honest). Must agree with you regarding the Cornish Radio Amateur club videos, they are excellent and not mentioned nearly enough. Well done again Andy 2E1LCY

Well done. I think there is a noticeable increase between Foundation and Intermediate, the step between Intermediate and Full is a larger step... but do-able... why not watch some Cornish videos first then decide? All the best, 73

I did my foundation 2 years ago, my intermediate last February and hoping to do the Full next month. But yes the Cornish Amateur radio club videos are a great resource.

Nice. I've just taken today both "|Foundation" and "intermediate" in a span of 2 hours .... And revised only a few hours same day before . (but I was a registered HAM radion amateur with intermediate licence when I was a teenager , like 35 years ago... not in UK but in Europe) . I am wondering how fast I can revise for the Full licence , I am even inclined not to ask for any call sign yet, just get the full one straight away .... Is it a big gap between Intermediate and Full ?

@@RadioRevG5REV in the space of 6 days I bought a ft70d, a ft2d and an icom id31e plus (I have a hotspot on uhf, so no need for an id51). Together with the anytone 868 I now have the holy trinity (c4fm, dmr and Dstar). So I feel like I have just done full licence in a week. Everything is now (somewhat) working. It has been an extremely steep learning curve.

@@RadioRevG5REV finally got fed up! I only use digital modes as I am always on the road, so hotspots are a godsend. I can't take the radios abroad as I am a M7. So, although there is absolutely no incentive, and only 1 advantage (being able to take the radios abroad), I have ordered the books for intermediate and full license. I am aiming to conclude in January. Makes no sense to me, that I can remotely fire up a repeater in (for instance) Germany, and talk to the local hams there, but is forbidden for me to stand at the bottom of that same repeater, and do the same on 0.1W output.
