I used to be a fan of the Gran Turismo because of it's looks, I still am but I started to appreciate the 2013 Quattroporte GTS with the same 4.7 more recently!
Thanks for this review. Very interesting comparison. I myself own a Maserati Quattroporte Sport GT S Awards Edition. I’m glad that there are many fans of real Italian masterpieces. Definitely a thumbs up 👍🏿
Fantastic review from a genuine Quattroporte lover. The way you speak of it shows your true passion for this Magnificent Beast! I own a 2013 Quattroporte S, and I love it so much that I take it for a drive almost every night, just so I can listen to the sound of that Ferrai engine scream. I did a resonator delete. I also have a exhaust sound enhancement installed in the rear, so I can hear it at all times, even with the windows closed. I almost NEVER have radio on. Who needs a radio when you ate driving a Maserati! Sorry 'bout all the typos... Autoincorrect.
Hey there! I can’t believe you’re the guy I chatted with at Refuel yesterday! I was the guy with the ‘68 Morris Minor, it was a pleasure talking to you and learning more about your cars. Definitely subscribing and hoping to get to see that vault boy Lincoln again soon.
I completely agree about the handling of the Quattroporte. It's OK on a motorway (although for that I prefer my Jag XF), but on sweeping A roads my facelift 4.2 QP never fails to impress, it feels so 'alive' compared to a big Mercedes or BMW. Best of all though is the sound, even with a stock exhaust. In terms of value for money, here in the UK I bought mine last year for about the same price as a new Dacia Sandero (£13k) and it has 90% of the performance of a GTS for half the price.
I own the 2010 GTS and hasn't given me many problems at all. Flat battery from a door left open and .... and ... tyres... rear tyres to be precise. Drive accordingly and coast upto intersections and you won't have the expensive brake replacement... but then buy Merc DB Pads instead of the Mazza label and it's cheap as chips.

Great. I also drive the version Sport GT S Awards Edition. This car is a real work of art.

Ey nice one haha 👍 yeah I’m usually about at Haynes first Sunday of the month for the breakfast club in one of the Lincoln’s
I prefer the Quattroporte, but only the Sport GT or GTS if it’s a facelift model. It’s a more rare and unique car, a 4-door Ferrari by Maserati 😉

Absolutely 👌 they remain a mostly hidden gem purely because of people’s fear 😂
I will buy MC20 next week 😂
Did you biy
Thanks for making this informative and helpful comparison review 👍🏻
Fantastic comparison! Love Maserati!
I’m considering either of these. How does the GT cope with the uneven roads and multiple speed bumps in the UK??
Great review. Thanks. I love the Masers, but the repair/maintenance costs would keep me awake at night. Same for the Aston Martins.
