Sorry you were sick. Glad you are better. You are just a ray of sunshine. Love how you get so happy working/playing in the garden. It is fun when you are young and get so excited about trying new things. At 61 I have lost my mulch excitment. I know it has to be redone all the time. You can never have too much mulch. Keep some bags to use during the summer.

I found via the 10 sewing projects video and I’m so pleased I did. Gardening is on of my favorite things to do, and I am no expert, but just this video has taught me and inspired me to get mulching… thanks a million. I hope you feel better soon. 😻🌈 🫖

I live in the city. I have a pair of doves make a nest on my balcony. I looked out one day and a huge black vulture was attacking them. I ran out with a broom screaming like a mad woman, but it was too late the babies were all dead. It was so sad. I’m so glad you are feeling better. I’m loving how wonderful your backyard looks. I hope to get out in the garden for some healing and fresh air today too. But I won’t push myself, as you shouldn’t either. Take the time to rest and heal. I’ve been enjoying your channel and if my budget could swing it , would have become a member. I always feel uplifted after checking out your videos, but I’ve been revisiting many of your previous videos to comfort me and cheer me up . My dearest Daddy from Dublin passed away on the 1st of April . I find that listening to you chat with us/me , your cheerful disposition and watching you get things done is lifting my low spirits . You are inspiring me to throw myself into my indoor and outdoor projects to distract myself from my sorrow. So I thank you very much and , to be sure, you will ALWAYS get a cheeky thumbs up from me!

welcome to the Vid Club!! it’s miserable. Love yourself enough to take your time recovering, the sneaky flu likes to sneak back when you think you’re better. So sorry you've been unwell with Covid Catherine. I hope that you're feeling better. We had a mix of sun rain and hailstorms on Saturday 10th, I needed to get washing dry, but only managed to get one load dry. I strimmed the garden with my new toy, which is fab. Then cut the grass and tidied up a little. Makes you feels so much better and it looks nicer now.

Dear Catherine please do not over work yourself and I am sending healing prayers that you feel stronger and healthier each day.
The garden is looking fab. One thing I noticed in your shade garden is the ivy growing at the base of the tree and on your fence. Please cut it back and off your fence and tree. Ivy does a lot of damage to fences, brick work, rock fences over time destroys mortar and while pretty is very invasive due to its runners and the way it clings to stuff. Just a thought as I also watch some French shows that are being preserved and hear about the damage.
Please take care and feel better for you and your bestie. Hugs, love and prayers from Northern California.

Mulch is like makeup foundation for the garden. All your plants look better with that foundation of mulch. It is so satisfying to look at once it's been laid down. Don't give the extra mulch away. The mulch in the flower beds breaks down and fades quickly so it's really nice to top dress it throughout the growing season.
