I own an amaze my brother own a Dzire i feel amaze is better option. Ac works way better in amaze. All other things are same both cars give me almost same mileage. I personally feel that Dzire’s ABS doesn’t work sometimes when u cross a speed breaker and press hard breaks. Go for amaze for amazing car experience.

Jab sabse manin cheez hi kharaab hai to baaki cheezon ka banda kya hi karega including fuel economy agar zinda bachega hi nahi. Maruti Suzuki is just fooling customers in the current scenario neither theirs cars are cheaper nor its maintenance. One thing which is good about Maruti Suzuki is parts availability and the number of service centres even in small cities. The kind of support they provide to older cars is awesome. Honda needs only one thing to be a game changer and i.e. updating their all models at the correct time and offer better features which the competition is offering.

Like most of the Indian middle class families, we had Maruti cars as well. Most problematic thing with Maruti cars is build quality of outer body or things inside cabin. After 5 years there is so much rattling noise inside cabin that sometimes it feels like autorickshaw. I have never felt that in my brother's 6 years old Amaze or my wife's Figo.

When I had shortlisted these two cars, last week DZire won.!! Safety is very important for rash drivers with racing mind..! But I am a safe & careful driver the speed upto 120km/ hour, on highways... For the last 12 years I am driving in India NCB upto 50% in vehicle insurance... In total I am driving since 1976 & so far not even a single accident by me, by the grace of God.... Be more careful while dealing with Honda...am an owner of New amaze S Petrol.. this car having serious pickup problem.. be more careful while taking reverse on steep roads, engine will start vibrating like auto or boat.. it will loose all its power... something very much affecting safety.. New amaze having manufacturing problems, company also knows very well on this matter... now days customers are not testing all these aspects. Its a serious problem... they changed my vehicle parts .while taking test drive, we need to check steep roads also... especially with reverse function.. due to time limit, or may they thinking or make them to think that its their driving problem, most of client's not escalating ... only very few is making to reach till top level escalation .

Except for CVT & better quality controlled engine of Honda Amaze, the overall performance, maintenance cost, driving comfort with AMT & MT options, resale value,etc. Maruthi DZIRE stands as much better.!!. So I have booked VXI - AMT as my personal choice now.!!.
Proud owner of amaze diesel and civic.... there is no match to HONDA. Service quality is the best. So far no cheating and misselling. Quality of the car is such that I am not planning to sell them even after 15 20 years of ownwrship.
Amit ji, as of now the New Dzire 2020 facelift (with new engine) not come to market. As soon lockdown opens kindly once give driving review of AMT/AGS. So that we can compare it with automatic of Baleno(CVT) and Amaze (CVT).

Pros:- Buy this car only if u want comfort and real time 17.5 kmpl petrol mileage . CVT variants are also good with 17.3kmpl mileage and 24kmpl diesel mileage. diesel is soo good in terms of performance and mileage than petrol. Petrol is king in refinement. Four star rated for the cars sold in Africa only I don't know about Indian car. But it seems well built. Cons:- Honda is very slow in terms of upgrading this car in India. There are no connected car features and animations in the car anywhere like Suzuki or ford offer's . Car literally vibrates when it's in the reverse gear and in the first gear as well, that is soo annoying😶. Like fordpass which lets u to know the number of Kms u've driven and which door is open, tyre pressure monitoring etc all those are available in aspire as well, why don't you give atleast such few features honda. honda connect app is only for city car . Now amaze petrol VX mt is 9.6 lakhs on road there are no rear adjustable headrests and the petrol engine isn't punchy enough but It is refined. You removed built in navigation, music system is AVG speakers can't handle high NUM sound that shows AVG speakers quality. There is no auto dimming rear view mirror these are the features not available in any of their variants. Best vfm variant is S variant I guess. They literally seem to be made this car for one who wants to buy it for 8 lakhs on road because only that variant justifies the value one is investing.

@ Mayank, the difference is minor and not a deal breaker, by the way, Its personal preference. Personally I would rate safety above all. Trust me, just go and have a feel of it. You will find difference, just don't go by shear looks but again it's me. I do care for my life more over other little nitpicks.

Similar, both of them are neither good not bad. Reasonable good for the Pricing.

Is Reverse parking camera available in Dezire Or Amaze?
Be more careful while dealing with Honda...am an owner of New amaze S Petrol.. this car having serious pickup problem.. be more careful while taking reverse on steep roads, engine will start vibrating like auto or boat.. it will loose all its power... something very much affecting safety.. New amaze having manufacturing problems, company also knows very well on this matter...
now days customers are not testing all these aspects. Its a serious problem... they changed my vehicle parts .while taking test drive, we need to check steep roads also... especially with reverse function.. due to time limit, or may they thinking or make them to think that its their driving problem, most of client's not escalating ... only very few is making to reach till top level escalation .

Except for CVT & better quality controlled engine of Honda Amaze, the overall performance, maintenance cost, driving comfort with AMT & MT options, resale value,etc. Maruthi DZIRE stands as much better.!!. So I have booked VXI - AMT as my personal choice now.!!.
Proud owner of amaze diesel and civic.... there is no match to HONDA. Service quality is the best. So far no cheating and misselling. Quality of the car is such that I am not planning to sell them even after 15 20 years of ownwrship.

Amit ji, as of now the New Dzire 2020 facelift (with new engine) not come to market. As soon lockdown opens kindly once give driving review of AMT/AGS. So that we can compare it with automatic of Baleno(CVT) and Amaze (CVT).

Pros:- Buy this car only if u want comfort and real time 17.5 kmpl petrol mileage . CVT variants are also good with 17.3kmpl mileage and 24kmpl diesel mileage. diesel is soo good in terms of performance and mileage than petrol. Petrol is king in refinement. Four star rated for the cars sold in Africa only I don't know about Indian car. But it seems well built.
Cons:- Honda is very slow in terms of upgrading this car in India. There are no connected car features and animations in the car anywhere like Suzuki or ford offer's . Car literally vibrates when it's in the reverse gear and in the first gear as well, that is soo annoying😶. Like fordpass which lets u to know the number of Kms u've driven and which door is open, tyre pressure monitoring etc all those are available in aspire as well, why don't you give atleast such few features honda. honda connect app is only for city car . Now amaze petrol VX mt is 9.6 lakhs on road there are no rear adjustable headrests and the petrol engine isn't punchy enough but It is refined. You removed built in navigation, music system is AVG speakers can't handle high NUM sound that shows AVG speakers quality. There is no auto dimming rear view mirror these are the features not available in any of their variants. Best vfm variant is S variant I guess. They literally seem to be made this car for one who wants to buy it for 8 lakhs on road because only that variant justifies the value one is investing.

They will not improve it because they have recently changed their platform i.e. heartect platform. On this platform only unsafe cars like Baleno, Swift, Dzire, Ciaz etc are built.

@ Mayank, the difference is minor and not a deal breaker, by the way, Its personal preference. Personally I would rate safety above all. Trust me, just go and have a feel of it. You will find difference, just don't go by shear looks but again it's me. I do care for my life more over other little nitpicks.
