So Ubisoft may have officially updated the ejects (frankly though it has its upsides and downsides in comparison to the mods), the mods have also updated several functions that revolutionized mirage parkour! I’ve made a demonstration and a route to show it off. The mod maker has also just posted a similar demo on their channel QuietlyLoud (I'm sure you know). Let's draw ubi's attention again for the console players!

Now I’m wondering if red’s Afro-Samurai will be a “good” Templar. It’d be an avenue for us to play as a Templar again while still being able to play as an assassin
i love going back to syndicate every once in awhile for the hideouts and the warehouse missions, like Treviso said its a pretty damn good game if you ignore the story, although im not a big fan of the grappling hook in the 1800's lol.
So Red has a bigger map than Soyhalla but smaller than Malaka’s Odyssey and will be a 100 hour game. Despite having a smaller map Soyhalla felt needlessly long due to all the bs collectibles unlike Malaka’s Odyssey. And each region had its own arc with most feeling irrelevant to the main story. Ubi makes the best long games when it’s a strong character driven story. AC2 being the best example
I'm surprised you've never done a video on the stealth in the Batman Arkham games especially Arkham Knight. The fear mechanics and enemy reactions are really fun and interesting.
So Ubisoft Bordeaux changed ejects and made them way better now. It’s really nice to feel listened to for a change, I know they saw the height eject mod on reddit, but I never expected them to actually implement it officially. Bordeaux is on a whole other level. The changes improve the flow so much and give much more freedom in how you move through the city, it really is a fantastic addition to the game
@@LeoKRogueBordeaux really is just built different. I hope they get the chance to make another AC game one day without the limitations that mirage has with valhalla’s engine, even though they made a great game despite those limitations
Just replayed Basim’s Creed thx to ng+. Basim definitely needs a sequel. He became a GigaChad og triple og master assassin like Altair by saving his branch.
White and red Rayhan robes coming in December. Finally robes that actually look master assassin and fit the era. Base game master robes looks like a generic ezio homies recruit
Since Red is being made by the fantasy rpg team. If we get powers again, may it be akin to Dishonored’s supernatural abilities instead of the superhero comical powers in Malaka’s Odyssey. Supernatural abilities would fit particularly well with HEXE mystical tone
Upon further thought I’m glad it’s Quebec doing Red instead of Montreal. Malaka’s Odyssey’s stealth was flawed due to rpg level gating, BUT IT ULTIMATELY WORKED. You could even cheese stealth kill em if under leveled. Soyhalla was designed to discourage stealth. Defining elements of AC gameplay: functional stealth and parkour. I’ll take a goofy story if it’s the price for feeling like an assassin while playing the game
Hey Leo I hope you're doing well. I was wondering if you plan on making a video on AC Nexus or not? I feel like you could add alot of depth in the understanding of that game considering that game has many possibilities for different types of stealth (mainly because you can actually control your movements)
Have you had the chance to play with the “revived” manual jump in the rpg/mirage system? It’s really transformative to mirage given how well the city is designed, would love to hear your thoughts on how the community should leverage this as a way of letting ubi know it’s not something they should take away from us 😊
Players were able to request bomb Ubi into making Ezio revelations a legacy robe. Perhaps the same can be done with Bayek’s Creed Hidden Ones & Cormac’s attire. Bayek Hidden One is his true assassin outfit! Cormac outfit is dark and would actually blend in better in most environments than many assassin robes. It just needs to be appropriate for the time setting
The Hidden One outfit from Origins actually is a Robe you can equip, and in my opinion it's the strongest one in the game since its trait is increased Focus Gain on stealth kills. It being a Costume/Skin might be cool, of course, it's just not as crucial for me since I already use it. As soon as I found it, I haven't really worn anything else, because it looks cool as hell and its effect amps my resources.
Just replayed Bayek’s Creed. What’s your opinion on why the production quality of Bayek was so much higher than the other rpg era games. The side activities easily beat the following games side content
The game was a lot smaller than the later two, and it also had a slightly longer dev cycle, I think. (The year between Syndicate and Origins, the AC Movie came out, but there was no game.) That definitely let them focus on quality a little more.
I'm not doing great, to be honest. I lost someone deeply, deeply precious to me. Someone I couldn't bear to lose. It was my fault, completely. I was just too weak. And... since then I haven't had the energy or will to really do anything at all.

Ashraf made a great game Bayek’s Creed that set AC in the wrong direction, the Witcher clone, for an entire era. Since AC likes to copy better to copy guys like Ghost of T, Metal Gear, Dishonored, and Hitman
Expecting Red to be at minimum a beautiful game regardless of how much we like or dislike the gameplay. Japan like Italy is known for esthetics and design. I’d bet on Red being the prettiest AC to date
It should hopefully be the first "true" next-gen one, right? Enough time has passed that it no longer needs to be on PS4. So, just by that measure alone, yeah I expect it to look pretty good.

I like the ocasional incorporation of passthrough, the "IRL" portion of the game almost feels like an evolution Black Flag's. And it's the closest the player has ever been able to get to the theme of the animus - controlling and becoming someone in an ancient history simulation. I do wish it was PCVR so the graphics and such could be better.
Here’s an angle for Ubi to go overboard on female canons. Historical warriors were men. Since the Brohood is an independent underground organization becoming an assassin is how a girl could train to become a fighter. Surprised Malaka’s Odyssey made zero mention of the Amazons. That was mythological Greece with a girl canon. I hope the next protag after HEXE is a sole male protag. Malaka Soyhalla Red and Hexe 4 entries where a girl was shoehorned as the protag. Forcing a female canon while using the male option in promos is exploitative of manpower
Yeah, AC portraying the "real" history as opposed to propaganda controlled by Templars makes perfect sense for why 'unexpected' characters are actually good protagonists when affiliated with Assassins, or Assassins themselves. It's not something we would think, because our perception of history is shaped by boring old white men, but the Animus shows us the hidden secrets of ages past, including people who weren't written about in dusty books. Really cool concept. On the final note, marketing the non-canon male protagonist during promos while everyone _knows_ the real protag is the girl, is basically cowardice and a refusal to stand by their choice. If your character is a woman, commit to that and don't worry about salty boys who are gonna be mad. Just make a good game.
I have strong preference for male protag. Given the choice I rather each each takes turns as sole protag instead of gender fluidity in the pc. It’s incredibly bollocks explanation for the gender fluidity anyways you have advanced live your ancestral memories machine, but it can’t tell if that person had a pee pee or not
If it’s indeed Afro-Samurai, please bring back a mask. The figure he’s inspired by was allegedly 6 ft. Japanese have some of the shortest limbs in asia. There must be a way for him to be discreet. Give him a hood even if he’s a Templar. I suppose he could be given a Bayek complexion to possibly pass for a dark skinned Asian from the Far East. One of Japan’s further neighbors. Irl Samurais did have mask & helm so that’s covered!
I don't think he's that concerned with being discreet lol, especially if we already have a character that is based on stealth. One of the criticisms Syndicate got is that Jacob and Evie play almost literally exactly the same, so maybe this is a move to address that? I can see them doing something like, his stealth is weaker on purpose or something creative like that. We'll see. And yes, already being so tall means any attempt to disguise himself is pointless anyway.

Fear+Fire has been tested by several players so far and seems fine, but I'll investigate soon.

ACV had fine stealth on release, post-launch changes and odd bugs introduced in patches destroyed it.

They've completely done the unexpected. I didn't even think it was feasible for them to touch parkour at all.
