I got to make this thank you Josie Merry Christmas 🎁🎄
Cody, my son (12 on the 29th!) and I will be making the chocolate topped version, adding dehydrated mini marshmallows for a s'mores toffee brittle! He's very excited for the coming few days of Christmas gift making for homeschool this week. This time together has been such a blessing. Would putting the pan in a cooler place, just not the fridge, help it set up? Thanks again, they both look so wonderful! 😊 All my love to y'all and especially baby Howie 💙
Yes, it will set just fine in a cool spot. The chocolate takes a little longer to set but it will. The mini marshmallows sound great!
Just wanted to say that I made this for our Christmas tins to give away. I was distracted and added the chocolate chips to the toffee before putting the crackers and toffee into the oven. It still turned out great. I added more chocolate chips after taking the pan out of the oven so that I could spread the chocolate over the top after it melted some. I then added some sweetened coconut flakes to the top. It was like a mounds with toffee and cookie with it. Delicious! Thank you for posting this. Please share more old time treats.
Glad you enjoyed it.
👍💯❤

Hi Stacy, I make old fashioned toffee similar to a Heath Bar....every year for almost 50 years. Criminy, I can't believe it's been that long. My family would never forgive me if I didn't give each of them a tin of toffee for Christmas. I know this will be a hard Christmas for you. I'm thinking of you and hope the Lord brings you joy with your new baby grandson and Peace.
Thank you so much. I love toffee, and I am sure your family looks forward to it.
Thank you Josie and Cheyanne! Y’all gave me another great idea!!🤗

I really enjoy your videos. I have made some of the gift recipes. I would like to ask you a question about your aprons did you make them yourself or buy them. I'd love to have one for myself.
Most of the ones I wear were made by my sister in law. I have some that were gifted to me from subscribers.
Josie on the pan you made can you add chocolate to that after it’s baked??? This looks yummy
Yes you sure could!
@@CedarCreekHomestead I am definitely making this 💕❤️
Hi Miss Josie Jessica from Texas here I have a question. What is the best way to store this I just made this today and I have an old tin can with a lid the kind that you get popcorn from Walmart and I was wondering if I could put it in stored in there and layer it with parchment paper until Saturday Christmas?
Yes, it should be just fine stored that way. Merry Christmas
