CONCOURT DISMISSES PRELIMINARY ISSUES RAISED IN ECL`S ELIGIBILITY CASE

Matter sent back to a judge for full trial
Justice Mudford Zachariah Mwandenga selected reading the ruling on the preliminary matter in the petition by a Michelo Chizombe who wants the court to determine if Edgar Lungu was eligible to stand as a presidential in the general elections of 2021 or future elections.
Court states that their could be fresh arguements, Matter sent to a full trial before a single judge of the Constitutional Court.
