@@niconcaramanthanks for the response. didnt work i also wrote "please keep the numbers as they are" didnt work also. then i tried only copyiing 20 lines of subtitles in. and it worked perfectly. very weird that it keeps changing the numbers if there are too many lines of text.
In the video, he copies the srt info from chatgpt and pasts it into a copy of the srt file you exported from DaVinci. Then, import it back into Davinvi. Just did it now in studio 19 and it worked.
i can try and try and try but chat gpt always changes the timecods and numbers in the translation. so frustrating
Just type again this: Can you please make sure that this is a professional .srt file for film and television

Yeah, maybe it’s because it’s the free 3.5 ChatGPT version, I know they have a new paid version, that’s probably more advanced!
does not work for me - SRT file does not drag onto a new subtitle track not sure what I am missing
Man! Am not sure if english is ur native But the way you explain this is so soo soo good.. Earned a thumbs up and a new sub❤🎉
So kind of you, and I'm very happy you find my style of explaining easy to follow and useful, it means a lot! thanks for the sub 😇💯
well done! But how to use that with a long video? ChatGPT stops translating after some time
Yes, it does but...please see min. 04:15 You have to click on CONTINUE GENERATING at the bottom of your Chat GPT page...Hope it'll solve it :)
@@niconcaraman I get this error (The message you submitted was too long, please reload the conversation and submit something shorter)
Thanks. That was very helpful. I wonder whether there’s a way to make this work with Google Translate?
I believe so, but as Chat GPT is a language model it's better at understanding spoken language.
Merci beaucoup pour ce tuto très clair.
Mon plaisir! Je suis content que tu l'ayez trouvé utile et facile à suivre!
Davinci Resolve studio 19 does not able to import SRT file generated by ChatGPT, could you please inform regarding version of ChatGPT you use.

Life saver brotha! Thank you!
No problem, I’m glad it helped 🙏💯
Actually, GPT is expensive for me. So I choose to use Immersive Translate thay is cheaper than GPT to help me translate video subtitles in real time
I thought Chat GPT is free…oh I guess the GPT 4 is better and that’s why it’s only available for a subscription 😏
are you using the paid version of chat gpt?
At that time I think I did.. but then I cancelled my subscription as I didn't think I was getting much value out of it or was better.
