Nakano Broadway is one of my favorite places to hit up in Japan. Especially when you take a break and grab some ice cream at Daily Chiko in the basement, they're the shop with the 8 flavors tall ice cream cone.
Visiting Japan for the first time in April and this was already on my list. Enjoyed seeing a little more about it than I have so far and looking forward to your next video about some of the other shops.
I remember visiting this place back in 2019! It's was so exciting visiting and seeing the unique layouts of every Mandarake in Tokyo! I hope I'll one day get to experience these again!
My wife and I plan on checking out Nakano Broadway on our trip next month! I'm really interested in seeing all the retro toys they have and hopefully come away some nice picks! Looking forward to the followup videos!
I haven't been to Nakano Broadway in about 9 years! I'll actually travel down to Tokyo this weekends with my family and I'll have some time to myself. I most likely won't make it out to Nakano this time, but I always enjoy going there.
That's a cool Gundam store tour video 👍😎 lots of cool kits😮😮 when I 1st went to Tokyo I went crazy and went to tons of Gundam & figure stores and my favorite Gundam Base 😮😮 spent $3,000-$3500 🤗🤗🤗 the security people at the airport stopped us and asked if we are resellers or something and I told them it's my collection and showed my IG and they ket me pass to enter into US 😅😅
I had Nakano Broadway on my list of places to see, and I got so distracted by all of the other things to see and do in Tokyo that I completely forgot to go. I only realized I forgot once I got back home to Canada. Next time...
I went there with someones suggestion. The place was amazing, surprised me a lot and I am not really interested in figures and similar stuff. Great place to venture
Nakano Broadway is really weird but fun to explore. Loooots of watch stores. Specially on the top flor. I almost bought the Wing Gundam Snow White Prelude metal figure, in the Special 2 store. Now I regret not buying it 🤦♂
@@pixxellie It does. It would have cost around 600 USD, and where I live, I would have been taxed to hell because of it. Also, not sure I would've had the luggage space.
There's a Hobby Off near where I stay when I go to Japan. It doesn't have the selection like in your video, but it's definitely more than I can access in the States, as far as older kits. One of the things I like is getting P-Bandai kits without the markup you see when trying to buy them on eBay. Also, if there's any dent or crease in the kit boxes, it's marked down a lot. Next time I go, I want to buy some Space Battleship Yamato kits.
Space battleship Yamato is definitely a cool one I'd like to check out as well! Also, you're right, you can often get a good deal is the box is dinged up in Japan!

Love the idea of mixing that Bromry with a mech for a diorama. Seeing your last build, I can certainly imagine some awesomeness there!
Thank you! I'm always scheming about future builds lol
I went there in May and its fantastic.
Regretfully, I only went there a couple of times during my time in Japan. So many kits I wished that I had picked up!
hey a couple of times is not bad!

Maaaan! Seeing this just as I returned last week from Japan!
@@Shrayzee sorry you missed it! Def worth a trip back though!
Seeing all of this... I might have to rethink my budget if I ever get over to Japan. I could spend hours in there.
definitely a place you can spend days and days!
Your videos are sweet man. Keep it up
Thank you!! I will!

I'm glad you gave it a shot!! It's a cool spot no matter what you're into!
Can’t get much more spoiled for choice than that. Awesome
Truly! It's one thing to go to a big gunpla shop, but it's another to go to a mall packed with multiple shops!
That old HG G Falcon is actually compatible with the DX Master Grade.
I did not know that!! That’s super cool!

Man, I'd love to watch hours of footage from this places. lol
There’s another video on the way! 🫡
Does Shizuoka have good model stores? It's the city that has a bunch of plastic model factories, right?
Yes!! I made a video on one shop there!

meanwhile I am looking for Gundam F91 and V Gundam grunts which are only available as old kits due to the designs not getting much love.
Ugh two of my fav series!! The old f91 kits are really nice imo!

Pretty cool video; but isn't Nakano pronouned Na-Ka'noh? instead of naka-noh?
В Японии столько всего класного , а в России нихуя нет все заказывать приходится
