Damn, what a nostalgic feeling. I never noticed until now how much of the surroundings the audio picked up, which feels very different from modern and more pinpoint or even lavalier style mics. Feels more alive and like you are in it yourself.
This felt like watching a fever dream. It bounced between - "lost footage before a massive disaster", - "this is what you thought it was fun when you were a kid", - and "can you believe this used to be life in the 2000's?". All with a sprinkle of fear that a news-person starts talking over the video "Mudan was seen alive at Disneyland Tokio having fun and vlogging....." 10/10 don't do it again I'm scared and confused
Wow, that old camera footage was a trip. It suddenly just nudged a feeling in the back of my brain that I had forgotten. The poor stabilization and muted colours also nailed the vibe.
Man, this feels so much like every video I shot from 2005 - 2010. I love it. I don’t love how every video I shot sounded like “So today we’re goi *UNHOLY AMOUNT OF WIND NOISE* ”
If you told us that this was from the 2000s, I would believe you. Your camera quality might have changed but your filming style hasn't!! Looking forward to more videos shot on your vintage camera!!!
this background sound capture is absolutely gorgeous, modern cameras seem to be too good at noise reduction but there is so much additional information here
POV 2005: Your mom won't buy you ice cream or churros, they're too expensive. You don't know about the Splash Mountain lore. Or why main street smells like that. The queue for Space Mountain took 3hrs. You are genuinely happy.
I seriously LOVE this. Even your shooting style changed and feels like and old home movie of someones vacation or even some really early youtube travel videos. This is amazingly cool and would love to see more of this
This was pretty neat. Man new cameras have done wonders for low light capture. Great vlog! Thanks for showing the food! Also be sure to check out a live underground music show!
Other than the early 2000s video filter, that camera genuinely is extremely clear, like thats flipping insane Also, honestly love this style, feels like i'm looking at a early 2000s found footage
I can’t believe this, I’m in Fukuoka rn travelling, but was in Akihabara literally 4 days ago trying to do the same thing as Mudan.. Vintage cameras really are just comfy!
Even though we're seeing all these modern things from today's world every few moments, it still feels like I'm looking at footage from the late 90's / early 2000's
Your sd cards are probably compatible, but you might need to format them in FAT32, which windows won't natively allow so you need to use a program like GUIFormat
I love how using the way you used vintage camera made the pace feel like it slowed way down without making it boring - btw with old digital cameras they can usually take bigger modern sd cards as long as you format them as FAT32. Windows might not let you do this without a separate program
The new camera may have a slight warm color and no noise isolating. But the overall quality is surprisingly really good! I wonder if you are going to film more with this.
Can't believe bro paid 26,000 yen to reduce the video quality by 100% and the audio quality by 500%. Fell into the 'nostalgia trap'. Sadge. Thanks, fella~! What sorts of wacky things will Mudan get up to tomorrow? (I swear if he breaks out a lithograph then it's so joever)
You did follow a pigeon, but now i have a new fun challenge that is much easier. Follow a random japanese person for a couple of hours. They are everywhere there! 🎉 probably better to do at evening or night for that cool experience and vibes🎉🎉❤. I'm sure it will work out great!
I had this exact camera, I would not consider this camera vintage since I bought it new in 2009/2010. Vintage is more 70s/80s imo The audio is hella good though! Idk sounds like it has more "volume" to it? Idk. This might be copium for turning 28 😬
I don’t know why, but I love this. Feels more authentic somehow. Like I’m watching someone’s home video.
I do completely agree.
Yes it’s like someone’s home video, I couldn’t put that into words myself but that’s exactly what it is!
Crazy how the vintage camera captures vintage music our phones can't even hear.
Damn, what a nostalgic feeling. I never noticed until now how much of the surroundings the audio picked up, which feels very different from modern and more pinpoint or even lavalier style mics. Feels more alive and like you are in it yourself.
Holy shit the second you got on the train it flipped from a cool gimmick to holy fuck this feels vintage and is hitting me in ways I didn't expect.

I like the old vibe and how the colours look but I don't miss modern camera digital stabilisation :D
I *definitely* do miss stabilisation!
dude, seeing disney Japan through this old camera made me feel like it was an alternate universe childhood. my dad had the same camera
Wow, that old camera footage was a trip. It suddenly just nudged a feeling in the back of my brain that I had forgotten. The poor stabilization and muted colours also nailed the vibe.

S tier video cuz it captured all the vibes required, for better or worse
To some this vintage look is uncanny and to others is quite nice
there's just something very charming about this vintage camera. feels great to see something not so "polished" like what today's cameras do.
A tier video
This video makes me appreciate all the hard work you put into these videos. Thank you mudan 🙏
If you told us that this was from the 2000s, I would believe you.

My childhood was shot with a very similar camera. I did not expect to feel nostalgic watching this
Man, the footage looks so 90s! It's like you time traveled to 1998 and went to Tokyo Disneyland
This reminds me so much of my brother's videos from when he lived in Japan in the mid 2000s that he'd bring back and share. I dig it.
Such a cool video! Thanks for doing this, it hits so perfectly nostalgia vibes
I still can't comprehend that a digital camera can be vintage nowadays.
love the vibe that camera provide and the zoom is so goooood
overflowing with vibes
I have to say, out of all of your videos.. this is the one that feels like I'm a fly on the wall the most. I like this.
i also love the reappearance of the kombini gloves and hat, part of mudan multiverse lore now
POV 2005: Your mom won't buy you ice cream or churros, they're too expensive. You don't know about the Splash Mountain lore. Or why main street smells like that. The queue for Space Mountain took 3hrs. You are genuinely happy.
This somehow feels more real and personal. Like im watching your actial pov
the classic vibes of the zoom are awesome! glad to see your still enjoying your days
I seriously LOVE this. Even your shooting style changed and feels like and old home movie of someones vacation or even some really early youtube travel videos. This is amazingly cool and would love to see more of this
So cool and such a nice thumbnail. Great experiment! I Would love to see this being used in different settings. Just not too dark please!
Ah, we're entering Analogue Horror Arc.
Reminds me of old home videos of my family in disney Paris, when I was a kid.
This brings back nostalgia
You have pulled the nostalgia strings
I'm can get jiggy with the retro footage
Omg the bit in the train station was like watching those old science videos from school that were on VHS
Feel of 2000’s
the vibe hit the spot
I’m not sure why but the video with the vintage camera gives me massive nostalgia for the late 90s early 00s.
This was pretty neat. Man new cameras have done wonders for low light capture. Great vlog! Thanks for showing the food! Also be sure to check out a live underground music show!
im not a huge camera guy but vintage cameras adds so much character to videos/photos!
Something about this makes it very... pleasant to watch for some reason.
grinning through the entire episode with a nostalgic feeling
Feels like I time-travelled 20 years back, before I even existed.
She said yes!!
I think this vlog was one of the best ones then others
love the camara vibe
It is like we are back in the early 2000's !
I never realized how much camera stabilization made a difference and this reminded me
Other than the early 2000s video filter, that camera genuinely is extremely clear, like thats flipping insane
Also, honestly love this style, feels like i'm looking at a early 2000s found footage
YAY!!! I think ima cry when these end :(
God damn it feels so nostalgic
OK LOVEEEE the vintage camera Disney trip!!! Also now I feel REAL old man.....
i loved this, very cool, very nostalgia out of 10
Old camera makes modern day feel old
I can’t believe this, I’m in Fukuoka rn travelling, but was in Akihabara literally 4 days ago trying to do the same thing as Mudan.. Vintage cameras really are just comfy!
Mudan vibes
Even though we're seeing all these modern things from today's world every few moments, it still feels like I'm looking at footage from the late 90's / early 2000's
Vintage cam with all the sounds and beeps nice plus never really noticed all the background noise and stuff lol
This is the kind of footage you find in horror game before stuff goes down
everytime mudan checks mudame's drip, i hear that williem da foe's drip meme music.
You left us on a cliffhanger... did you find the cable?! 😱 what if we never get to see the video! ...oh wait
Looks like every skate video from the early 2000's.
!! i reallyyy liked this one!! loved the shot at 3:53
The lack of auto stabilisation was very obvious. I never noticed it until it was gone 😢
Really nice vintage look.
Your sd cards are probably compatible, but you might need to format them in FAT32, which windows won't natively allow so you need to use a program like GUIFormat
God, I haven’t thought about FAT32 format in at least 10 years.
Mudan found footage
11:33 That's about half of the babies born in Japan this year.
😂
these cameras are great but the quality of this one is alittlw too good
Schlatt's vlogs are great
Holy fuck, the thumbnail's video camera probably came out when I was in college or even after. Getting old is fuckin' odd.
Day 22 of asking mudan for an hour long documentary on Japanese lampposts
I love how using the way you used vintage camera made the pace feel like it slowed way down without making it boring - btw with old digital cameras they can usually take bigger modern sd cards as long as you format them as FAT32. Windows might not let you do this without a separate program
5:27 Mudan proposed to babysitter and she said.....
Vlog: found footage edition. Also day 17 of asking mudan to visit aogashima island
That was cool!!!
I miss my little camera
2010 UA-cam vibe
The new camera may have a slight warm color and no noise isolating. But the overall quality is surprisingly really good! I wonder if you are going to film more with this.
Hope so 😃
Can't believe bro paid 26,000 yen to reduce the video quality by 100% and the audio quality by 500%. Fell into the 'nostalgia trap'. Sadge. Thanks, fella~! What sorts of wacky things will Mudan get up to tomorrow? (I swear if he breaks out a lithograph then it's so joever)
Still 4K
Second time asking mudan where did he get that old rocker switch from. Also the old video camera mood is amazing.
STUTS×SIKK-O×鈴木真海子 - Summer Situation (Official Music Video)
I wish my old Kodak EasyShare battery work. It took really good photos.
2007 camera? It's not that old but it's old, and I feel old.
It makes me laff how their train doesn't take you anywhere. Still fun tho.
Watching this after the new Meat Canyon ... Disney adults🙄🙄
Mudan try to use only that camera for few days and compare it to the other one. Would be fun to see more of it
Worst she can say is no: 08:51
damn, someone could make a channel with this visual style haha I got kind of mind f-ed watching it XD
holy guacamole!
damn i knew people said their disneyland is a copy paste of ours but wow I didn't know they meant that for real
2010 Japan goes hard
You did follow a pigeon, but now i have a new fun challenge that is much easier. Follow a random japanese person for a couple of hours. They are everywhere there! 🎉 probably better to do at evening or night for that cool experience and vibes🎉🎉❤. I'm sure it will work out great!

What a fucking amazing nostalgic vibe creating cinematic experience. Fuck child me was loving wvery moment of this jaja thanks mudan n.n ❤
stabilization looks good for an old tech, or do you used a gimbal? not bad over all for its time
got the same family mart gloves
The thumbnail on this one goes hard
I had this exact camera, I would not consider this camera vintage since I bought it new in 2009/2010.
Vintage is more 70s/80s imo
The audio is hella good though! Idk sounds like it has more "volume" to it? Idk.
This might be copium for turning 28 😬
The Jschlatt camera!
7:46 a certain joke could’ve been made… man.
Day 29 Of asking Mudan to try a video in Film-noir style!
Nah the only thing that came to mind was the American incident in New York city.
This video really makes u feel like you are in the early 2000's
