Nancy was Tough. She didn't cave in After Tonya's Criminals bashed her knee in Before Nationals & Olympics.....Nancy trained hard, skated her best and had NO EXCUSES. She's a real champion.
@@RaymondHng No, she did not. Kerrigan won the bronze medal behind Kristi Yamaguchi (gold), and Tonya Harding (silver). Nancy never won Worlds, her best ever placement was in 1992 (silver) in Oakland, California. She retired with one U.S. National title (gold-1993), two World championship medals (bronze & silver), and two Olympic medals (bronze & silver). A wonderful career.
@@renzy79 I misread the results page. The colored circle looked gold-colored, but it was darker colored for bronze. I did attend the World Figure Skating Champions at the Oakland Coliseum in 1992.
Interesting fact, Nancy Kerrigan is the most financially successful ladies figure skater of all time. Sadly, Oksana's life has been very up-and-down since 1994. While that's unfortunate, Nancy was still robbed of the gold. A judging panel packed with Eastern bloc and communist judges sealed the deal for Oksana. There's a reason why they call the 1994 Olympics the Games where they got every figure skating gold medal wrong. So true.
still after all these years, I don´t like Nancy, she is so unsympathic and with no glory or charisma. Her skating was so lame and stiff and nothing special. Debi is a true legend and icon and did so many great performances and she is a world champion
I thought Nancy was super-respectful of Debi. 1994 leading up to the Olympics was not a good time for Nancy at all. We were lucky to witness skaters like these ladies.
@@ZinziSchneider Nancy has 2 Olympic medals. Since when is that nothing special. Nancy did put her foot in her mouth a few times, but not sure why you think she was arrogant and selfish. Nancy didn't know that the real reason there was such a long wait until the 1994 Olympic medal ceremony was because the Ukrainian National Anthem could not be located. She was under the umpression it had to do with Oksana reapplying make-up. When she was at Disney, she was referring to the need to wear her medal as being corny. Even Debi was very ungracious and unsportsman-like on the podium at the Olympics. Debi was probably more upset at skating poorly in the long program than losing the gold medal. Both women have since matured.

Nancy is a Legend. She was a strong skater and winner..and showed her Toughness after that 94 Attack.
