If you add 3/4” rock under your pipe an you use perforated drain pipe with the holes pointed down this way the water will flow into the pipe. Then more rock on top of the pile all the water should drain. But remember to have a good amount of slope. Good luck to you, love watching your video.
Thanks, Brian! That's exactly what I'm planning on doing in the area where the water is popping up out of the ground. Glad someone else is on the same page as me. I'm going to give it a few days to make sure the yard on the downhill side of the trench is drying up a bit. Thanks for watching!
Any other thoughts on how to help solve this problem? Thanks for watching and following along on our journey!! Be sure to subscribe for future updates and projects on the farm with this link bit.ly/2YWNN7T
Hello, getting ready to do this in my yard. Have about 200' to do. Did you start at the low end and work to the highest or reverse? Did you fill the trench with crushed stone and a pipe? How's it holding up after a year?

Do you have to get off & on to move your tractor forward , doesn’t look like you can reach in the cab.
Unfortunately, yes.
