Somethings are worth running through hell for. This ridiculous sport, is not one of em. Even boxers are taught to defend from blows like that. Taking repeated blows like that without movement or some sort of defense can have grave consequences. I hope the pain of recovery is worth it for this guy. He might have died that day.

When an unstoppable force meets an immovable object, both showcase tremendous will to win. I see both as winners. There was something about the guy who lost; it seemed like he didn't want to inflict further damage. He was smiling and confident at the beginning, but in the later rounds, he witnessed the greater determination in the smaller guy - a willingness to go to any lengths - and this altered the expression on his face. Eventually, he called for a stoppage, even though he could have continued for another round or so.
