What an awesome video. My Ukraine trip has been delayed so many times that I’m finding myself watching these videos to remind myself that the world will let the trip happen soon, haha. I have been to Kiev in 2005. Awesome city with friendly people. Hotel next to the river was very reasonable. I wonder how many apartment buildings are in the city? It has to be in the thousands. Google the Outdoor Museum on the outskirts of the city. An amazing place to see.
I'm glad you liked Kiev. Since 2005, many residential areas have been built in Kiev and construction continues today.
The open-air museum is called Pirogovo and it is not far from where I live. I agree the museum is wonderful. Thanks for your comment

Visited, loved the city. :) But the amount of advertisement billboards is absolutely insane, as seen here on the highway.

This highway was made about 5 years ago and is still in good quality
Are most of these roads still operational? Considering the amount of mortar and artillery that is being used in this war.
The roads are badly damaged in the places where there were fights. Fortunately, most of the country was on the sidelines of the battles.

За останні роки Київ змінився, але не настільки як хотілося б. Новобудівлі з’являються кругом по місту. У спальних районах вони прикрашають місто, але історичні місця дуже псують.
В Люксембурзі до історичних забудівель ставляться набагато обережніше, втім як і в усій Європі.

Can some1 specify window tint laws in Ukraina, i see many of them that come in my country with front window tint. What percentage is allowed ? Are there no restrictions ?
The permissible tinting rate in Ukraine for a car windshield is at least 75%, for side windows at least 70%, for rear windows there are no restrictions.
So many high appartmentflats. Everything is bigger and wider than here in The Netherlands
Kyiv is a big city. But I prefer towns like in the Netherlands with small and beautiful houses

@@relaxingimagination1979 , I did Paris-Boryspil two years ago, then rent a car at the airport, destination Cherkassy. I spent 1 week of vacation and enjoyed it very much. The problem for me is the language. But I enjoyed the people and the scenery. I want to come back to visit Kiev and Lviv and Odessa.
Unfortunately most of our people don't know English, especially in small towns. It's a really big problem for foreigners. I think Lviv & Odessa people better speak English.
BTW, I like Cherkassy too.
@@relaxingimagination1979 , Yes people know little English in Cherkassy but I noticed that young people 12-16 years old speak a lot more in the street when I asked for information, many know English. Yes Cherkassy is a pleasant medium-sized town to visit, especially the regional museum next to the large statue.
Now in Ukraine, schools pay more attention to English and Ukrainian languages than to Russian. Therefore, in a few years, the new generation will be more European.

It's hard to say. Now Kyiv is almost empty. Many people have left for western Ukraine or Europe, while others are sitting in apartments or bomb shelters

На китайский город похож наверное плотными новостройками. К сожалению, сравнить не могу, в Китае пока не был.

This is not the center of Kiev. These are the areas where most of the people live. As they say - sleeping areas. As you can see, this part of Kiev is very different from its center.
