32:30 - Cam Clarke, the voice of Master, played Simba on TV and in Lion King 2, not the original, which was Matthew Broderick. Cam also played the original Leonardo (80s-90s) on Ninja Turtles.
Otacon's plan: you can lie down and use the ketchup as fake blood. The guard will open the door to check if you're dead and you beat him up and escape.
This is one of my favorite games of all time. I first played it back in college and loved every minute. Your videos make me laugh. I remember being nervous too, and missing things. That being said, I have some pointers for you. First, you don't need the box or to crawl to be stealthy. These genome soldiers are dumb. As long as you stay out of their blue cone of vision and don't run over metal grates or thru puddles, you're pretty much invisible to them. You can literally run right up behind one and plant C4 on his back. Once he is far enough way from you, preferably next to a buddy, you can blow him or them up. Cameras work the same. As long as you stay out of their cone, you're good. When they're looking away, just run right under them in the corner, and continue on when they rotate back. Now, there are three boxes (A, B, and C) that are pretty useful. As you've discovered, you can duck under one and the soldiers will usually dismiss it. But, there are a few other uses for them. Once you have one of them, or two, or all three, read their descriptions. These boxes actually act as warps. Climb into the back of a truck and put one on and you'll be driven to the destination in the description of the box. Also, you can use boxes to hide from moving cameras. If you are running up to one, pop on the box, and the camera will just pass over you. Another good one is when you're following Meryl thru the wolf caves. When you finally catch up to her, hit her and quickly duck under a box. She might hit you back but more importantly a wolf will pee on you. When you have to go thru these caves again just put on that same box and the wolves will leave you alone. As for crawling, it's best used on metal grates, puddles, or most importantly picking up claymore mines. Mines are very useful. You could've used them on Vulcan's tank to slow it down. And, they can be used as traps for soldiers. Other than all that, crawling just slows you down unnecessarily. Some other quick tips: Elevators. Press the button twice, not once, and it will arrive immediately. Rations: if you just keep them equipped, Snake will automatically take one as needed. Equipping and unequipping: you don't need to hold down the L1 or R1 buttons. That's just to select a different item/weapon. If you just tap them, you'll simply euip/uneqip the last item/weapon that you were using. Meryl: if you catch up with her fast enough when she runs to the women's room, you'll catch her in her underwear. Then, after the bathroom, if you keep staring at her she'll start to blush and become more and more red in the face. And when you're fighting Mantis, it's easiest to just punch her to knock her out. Mei Ling: don't continually call her and not save. You'll annoy her and she'll stop giving you that advice you like so much. Pitfalls: those trapdoors won't get you if you stick to running right next to side of the walls. Rooms with infrared lasers: some of these are tricky. I like to plant a couple of mines facing the door once inside before I try to pass the lasers. If I set off an alarm, the mines can help me escape when the soldiers set them off. If I don't set off an alarm, I simply crawl over and pick them back up. Now, you're going to face Sniper Wolf again in an enclosed, snowy field with trees. I like to attack this boss fight from the southeast corner. Remember to stock up on ammo and diazepam. You can also use another weapon to take her down. I'll let you figure out which one. Also, once the battle is over (or just as it starts, can't remember which) press up against the east wall in that same southeast corner to see something. If you have to run over metal crates and not alert guards, do it by running while rapidly equipping and unequipping a weapon by repeatedly tapping the R1 button. There are a few items you passed in the first building or two. There's the infrared goggles, the mine detector, and the supressor. I have a link below that'll tell you where to find everything. Some other items have fun uses. There's the handkerchief that lets you get by the wolves. The ketchup that Otocon gives you can be used as fake blood to get Johnny the guard (he was also the one Meryl stole the uniform from) to open your cell. You just lay down in the cell and "use" the ketchup. It pours out and looks like blood. Just lay still and let Johnny come to you. If you survive enough rounds of torture, the Ninja will break you out. Don't forget, you can simply surrender during the torture to get it to stop. And then there's the camera which let's you take and save photos. But, you can also use it to take pictures of ghosts (just ghostly pics of the developers). I have a link to their locations below, too. There are two more items that you get after beating the game. There are two slightly different endings to the game, each one gives you one item or the other. This all hinders on how you manage the torture events with Ocelot. I won't tell you what the items are or what they do for you, but trust me they're both cool. You'll just have to beat the game a couple times to find out. I look forward to seeing you continue this game. Has any told her she doesn't have to manually do the rations. And spend like an hour waiting for 1 person to move before she makes the decision to move
I got so crazyyyy excited seeing part 3 in my UA-cam feed 🥳❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ just started watching part 3. I watched part 1 then part 2 yesterday n now 3, idk who this girl is but I love that she is playing MGS 🙏❤️❤️❤️❤️
Dude it's so funny she gets sooo close to having the ration equipped and her life getting low enough for it to heal on its own but she lives or moves the equipment or something I swear if that she would have figured out the auto ration thing
Some sections might seem hard right now, but in the end it will make for an experience you will never forget and will feel nostaligic for
That torture scene turned my childish fingers into a button pressing machine gun. I was so worried about Meryl or losing my save xD

Box 📦
“Get out of the way”
Box was in the guards way, blocking path. Box will still work, just not if you block the patrol path.
Otacon's plan: you can lie down and use the ketchup as fake blood. The guard will open the door to check if you're dead and you beat him up and escape.
But also make sure not to do it in front of the guard.

48:49 I, once again, do not think I’ve ever seen this death animation 😂😂😂😂😂😂
"I don't understand how you can play these vintage games."
While listening to this stream, I'm playing the original Legend of Zelda.
1:15:00 - You will always be desperate for rations until you realize that the real rations are the friends we made along the way.
2:22:00 - What do you mean? Of course the elevators would still work. There is *no way* that you could *possibly* escape!
2:55:50 - “why…?” I laughed way too hard.
Has any told her she doesn't have to manually do the rations. And spend like an hour waiting for 1 person to move before she makes the decision to move
18:16 CANCELLED
With the hankerchief equipped the wolves wont attack.

Rev up those feels cuz its time for another MGS1 episode.

It's a shame you can only have 1 first time playing mgs! It's like the first time you see a taranteno film
Just wait till she finds out who voices the Boss in 3 XD
Nother lil tid bit, if you hit the elevator button a couple times it'll show up faster.
When is the next part coming out?
Lol what the heck do you mean "how do you move?" All of a sudden you forgot how to move?
Mgs2 when? 👀
