He did not lose because didn't have enough, he lost due to a misplay, because he did have enough for a second flush five.
@@salsatheonehad he had the DNA, ergo many more red sealed glass cards, the likelihood of his misplay would’ve gone down tremendously, since he was only playing the steel purples in the first place in order to preserve the glass cards for longer.

@@rijsmiddel8765 Well not exactly what you are saying either as your example is linear while his is more exponential and he only needed one more mult of 1.5x or 2x when he already did like 100+ of those. So it more like him needing 100 and only getting 99 which is very close.

yeah I think he said seeded by accident, otherwise the run would have been a lot more scripted
maybe he just made the intro for more hype and lied about it being unseeded. only a few will watch the whole thing anyways and notice that inconsistency

2 of my favorite jokers are legendary ones. The one that dupes a taro(maybe consumable idk) card and gives it negative and the one that kings and queens give 2x mult. They make great runs
Triboulet is the best card in the game by a mile. I had a polychrome, red seal, steel and glass king deck which I think is the very best deck you can have but I've never gotten a legendary in 40h of playtime which sucks.

There are a ton of ways to have fun without glass cards. Had a 20 million point hand with a flush build. Just play more I’m sure you will get on an enjoyable run
yea i also just got a 155,000,000 point hand with the ancient joker and flushes no glass just have fun with it

There definitely are some combos. Like, DNA + Hologram is busted even without glass cards, got 100kk run just from that

I just had a build similar to this one and then lost to "face cards are debuffed" boss blind...
Switching BP and sock and busking to make BP copy triboulet and BS copy sock and busking wouldve given you more total triboulet triggers
Before dusk:
Without switching, 10 triboulet triggers
After switching, 12 triboulet triggers
After dusk:
Without switching, 12 triboulet triggers
After switching, 15 triboulet triggers.
Optimal is brainstorms on Tribuolet, blueprint on socknbussin, and keep dusk.
Crazy thing is, this is actually a suboptimal joker setup when tiki doesn't hit. If tiki goes for hearts, he needs to put blueprint in front of tribulet so that his mult doubles four times, and is retriggered four times (for a total of 16 doublings) rather than doubling 3 times, and retriggering 5 times (only 15 doublings).
Love reading all the different words people are using to describe the math lol. Someone was calling it triggers I was calling x2’s, doublings is a good one.
Ideally ideally though it’s brainstorms on tribuoluet, blueprint on socknbuskin and you keep dusk

I just had a pretty nifty run with double pants and Canio. Nothing absurd like this, but if Canio stacks up it becomes insane very quick.

What made you lost to the last hand was your joker that only proc for King of hearts the flush was important but not for base mult
RTGame got E95 with a seeded run; 3 hacks and a bunch of glass polychrome fours, is what I remember of it.
I dont know what this deck type is but balancing the chips and mult is insane. Surely there must be a drawback because for example 50*1000= 50,000 but balancing that to 525*525=275,265 literally more than 5 times more points for free.
Higher chips do help, brings the average up.
I mean it’s a tiny margin, but it does help. Especially when each is retriggering numerous times. 1:58:02

Btw you missed the opportunity to repeat the effects of the face card discard 3 times to get $15 per discard. Throughout the run you could’ve had $100-200 more if you had done that every time, which could’ve helped in the shop

I dont know is your chat told you but you can't have a second card spawning if you are already holding one, except if you have the joker that allow multiple cards to spawn
Insane build. I wonder how much further this could have gone. Based on the wiki, he probably would have been lost at ante 24, when the chips surpass his highest scoring hand.
I think it scales by close to e9 or e10 an ante, so if he skips probably another 3 antes and another 2 if he doesn’t
I have literally never seen balanced in my life before this
We could have lived if our jokers were in the right order. We needed to swap Blueprint and Sock & Buskin.
For anyone reading this, as a rule of thumb, we want to keep our number of multipliers equal to our number of triggers (or as close as possible). In this case, our jokers were adding four triggers and three multipliers (if Idol is active) to cards with generally fewer multipliers than triggers (almost all the glass was also red sealed). This leaves 5x3s and 6x4s, but we could have had 4x4s and 5x5s instead. That difference is an additional 2x per card, for 32x total. The difference is even bigger if Idol isn’t cooperating.
Failing to make up the 4.5e50 gap at the end wasn’t the difference between base stats for Flush Five and Five of a Kind (the latter was actually better!), but rather it was the fact that the glass king of hearts had a better distribution of triggers and multipliers (5x4, respectively) than the red seal glass king of diamonds (6x3). Correct joker order would have compensated. The first hand would have won, and the second hand would have actually been better than the first!
For anyone curious, the point cap on this run, with proper play (correct joker order and not prematurely glassing all our red seal steel kings) and a cooperative Idol, was roughly 4.7e79. The way it was actually played, 9.2e75 was the limit on the final deck and joker loadout.

DNA would get you 4 copies on top of your hand size. so if you copied glass and had a lot of steel in your hand already then you'd have 4 extra triggers

There’s enhancements: bonus, mult, wild, glass, steel, stone, lucky, and gold. There’s editions: polychrome, foil, holo. And seals: gold, red, blue, purple. The highest scoring card in the game would be a red seal poly glass, and highest in hand is red seal steel.
The glass gives a better multiplier but if you wanted to keep the cards around wouldn't steeling the red sealed cards be enough to at least get you to the mid e50s without risking breaking them?
