Nikki Giovanni could really do stand-up comedy. She makes you laugh out loud and then think critically about the world around us. Love it. One of the greatest poets and speakers ever. If I said what I said was a person, it’d be she.
October 10, 2019 University of Albany- I was there 2 hrs early I wanted a good seat ... I walked around I ND the room no1 was in there but Me... I walked around so I could hear from GID on where to sit 🪑 Up front sit right behind Nikki Giovanni there was a reserved sign with her name on it I should have asked her to sign that and give to me.. but she did autograph her last book to me and also I've talked with her on the phone a few times...and recd 2 letters from.. I gave her that picture she is holding standing next to Professor Slade... my name is on the back of the Art sheet (framed)..... She also called my MOM on the ☎️ b4 she passed (1996) ..... she wasy.Mentor 🖊 📃 📖 📕 📚 🎉
