yeah my RTX3080TI FTW just started dropping video intermittently but mostly a reboot fixed it. This did not last, past 2 days its pretty much ded 😢
Sounds like memory issues. Either a memory or core reball will fix the issue.

Do you think it would be easy to add 2 more gb (2 x 1 gb) of vram on this card ? There are slots there and there are later versions of it with 12 gb.
The core that 3080 10GB used has 2 slots disabled from the core as it uses less cuda and SM's compared to 3080 12GB. The controller inside the core on those memory slots is not active. Installing memory in the empty slot will not work.
So what may be the cause of this fault at the beginning
Faulty memory was the cause of it. Replacing it fixed the issue.
hi, what its the cloth you used to clean the flux
This is a polyester fiber cloth. it can be bought from Aliexpress.
