CRWD: Imagine getting grounded cuz your classmate’s got a B- on his report card.
Great analogy...I hope
CRWD pipeline is strong
Zscaler too
😂
I discover your channel now, and I like this format after the earning report, and so fast just hours after the reports. thanks a lot! I will keep watching your next videos!
great points! thanks for the video
Me too crowdstrike😩 thanks for the video!! Didn’t know why it was dropping 😤
Your final point about profits and moat isn't entirely correct.
Crwd, palo alto and others haven't real moats, but they likely will make profit as well because this market will keep growing a lot.
Now, whether one company will take a bigger share of this market and margins will be thin, only time will tell.
If you want to follow growth in cybersecurity, the way is to buy all of them, or more than one, and accept that there'll be moments like this, of overvaluation (every stock is right now) and a correction of those expectations.
If you want to stockpick the right winner, you are gambling with your money, as even the people on top management in those companies can't certainly tell that their companies will win.
Don't trick yourself, a solid balance sheet is important, but it doesn't account for what may happen in the future. At any time, those companies could get hacked and have their reputations ruined. There are risks with every business.
The only real moat in cybersecurity is Microsoft.
@@tohnic441 not a real moat, they can just sell. Extremely well.
Moat is overrated. Nothing in tech is a moat unless you have IPs OR established brand name.
Agree. In a world full of IT and computers and Ai are only getting better it's just a matter of when a big cyber attack hits and companies realise that they can't afford not to pay for a good product. Buying everything is also good or just choosing some of the winners in the industry. I own 0% cyber security so this is not even a biased comment.
I liked your analysis. Still, I think the market overreacted because it is on edge ahead of NVIDIA’ 4th quarter results. Buying the dip
Thank you for the video.
🇨🇦
Great video , thank you so much ❤
Gud scooped some of zs crwd n panw
Splendid! Both in content and delivery. Brian is top-notch.
Very interesting about whether there are moats or not in the cybersecurity industry. Will look at $CRWD earnings closely.
If you’re long in the stock just buy some more…it’s irrationality and near term profit taking & impulsivity that causes sell offs like this when there’s nothing fundamentally wrong with the company.
Wow, great video Brian. really enjoyed it
Glad it helped
Great fundamental explanation! Makes sense that it'll affect competitors who now have a competitor giving something away for free
excellent analysis.
Thanks
Bravo to this content! I am quite new to stock investing and I have shares with CRWD. I learned a lot! Thank you
What a wonderfully clear explanation! Please could you do Zscaler next?
Makes sense why it’s dropping and putting fear out there 😊
I updated my reverse DCF last night, I'm buying PANW today.
Please do Zscaler next
I remember Axon giving the Tasers for free to make their customer addicted and they built a great ecosystem from there. If successful, Palo Alto can create a great competitive advantage to lock these customers and increase switching costs.
opened a position in panw
I bought crwd for a bounce probably trade before earnings to de-risk
Wow! Fantastic analysis, wonder why your videos hadn't shower up in my suggestions until today ... happy to be a new subscriber 😊
Welcome aboard!
Sticking with CSPI only
Consolidation is junk. Empty promises in exchange for severe vendor lock-in. No idea when the market will react, but react it must.
buy the dip!
Who would you rather own zscaler or Palo Alto?
Buy both with an ETF
Hi Brian, great video breakdown! Thank you. Respectfully, I don't find the 'lack-of-a-moat theory' to be a plausible one. Since cybersecurity is a cat and mouse game, the "moat" is constantly being filled with water by the creativity of bad actors. To suggest that there is no moat would mean suggesting that the threats to a business' cybersecurity are static, which is obviously not true. Intuitively, this should stimulate demand (and maintain a moat) for best in breed solutions. Now, what is NOT in the marketplace is a consolidated and integrated cybersecurity solution for the range of threats out there. To attain that would ITSELF be a moat. This is because, as IT security specialists will tell you, bolting solutions onto a business' cybersecurity stack does not ipso facto mean better security. That's what PANW has been building (mostly acquisitively). So, I just don't understand the 'lack-of-a-moat' logic here. It seems like insisting on ignoring what the company has been up to all this time. Furthermore, if a price war does materialize--that would tend to benefit the large cybersecurity vendors anyway. The marketplace is crowded with a glut of tiny companies underwritten by VCs. That herd will thin fast if prices go down and will accrue to the benefit of the ones who are left. Anyway, that's how I'm processing all this.
the yield on bonds have decreased especially on the long end (30 and 10 Y) indicating that the demand is still there even if the supply remains huge showing a preference for safety. I'm still at a crossroad regarding whether or not to liquidate my $138k
Find quality stocks that have long term potential, and ride with those stocks. I have found it takes someone who is very familiar with the market to make such good picks.
I agree with you. I started out with investing on my own, but I lost a lot of money. I was able to pull out about $200k after the 2020 crash. I invested the money using an analyst, and in seven months, I raked in almost $673,000
Please will you be kind enough to share the details of the man that helped you? *.*
Actually its a Lady. Yes my go to person is a 'MARY KALIOPE BRAUN'. So easy and compassionate Lady. You should take a look at her work.
Thanks for sharing. I curiously searched for her full name and her website popped up after scrolling a bit. I looked through her credentials and did my due diligence before contacting her. Once again many thanks

Coming from the IT industry, Palo Alto is king. Fortinet is crap.
Speculation but I think CRWD and Zscaler is stealing their business. This “platformization” bs makes my conviction even stronger.
Working out pretty nicely for many of the mag7 companies...
