I'm not sure I'd want to be the daughter of Mr Craigie, if spooky carved faces are what he likes to give as toys 😳.
I'm thinking it's one of a number of 'experiments' in analysing 'fear responses' in humans... there's a 3 letter agency across the pond that is notorious for decades of mind control experiments, and I assume we have our own agency over here doing the same thing.
I remember the film 'American Werewolf in London' having a very convincing Dogman transformation...I mention it because there was no CGI then, but he'd scare the hell out of me if I ran into him in Tesco's 👀

I remember this story as a segment on the BBC TV show Nationwide back in the 70's, think it was this show but I may be wrong, when it came to light. I was only 7 or 8 at the time and it flipping scared me rigid and I had many a sleepless night afterwards. Thanks for the trip down memory lane and, I dare say, the odd restless night. As always a grand watch.👍👍

I lived opposite the house and saw those heads as a child, no caring parent would have made the horrible things for his daughter,,, they most certainly had a "Vibe"!!
I wouldnt even touch the nasty things....
(Much to the hilarity of the boys.)
    ~They had a definite "Prescence"!!

The Hexham Heads reninds me of a similar story lf the figures in coffins found in the hill in Edinburgh near the castle.
Also reminds me of how my dad as a child dug up a strange thing, a piece of old jewellery or something. It looked like it may have been part of a full chain or most likely a bracelet at one time. It was 4 heads or one wasn't a head but a chicken all linked together. Not sure if it was actual gold or not but it was a gold coloured metal. I cant really renember what each head or part was but i remember the chicken or cock stood out as it was different from the other 3 which were heads with faces. Odd as i know chickens were often used in sacrifices & occult practices. Im sure one was a skull & one was like a witch. I can't remember what the 4th was but they were all sinister and the whole thing it had a witchcraft or voodoo type vibe to it. The pictures of the Hexam head faces have a similar look about them to this 4 link 🔗 thing.
My mum took it to a few different antique shops etc but none of them could tell her anything about it and didnt know what it was. Not sure what became of it but its long since lost.

In the 1970s on the programme "Nationwide", the widow and daughter of an archaeologist told a similar story about a couple artifacts that had been taken from a stone circle by the woman's decreased husband. They saw a "Herne" like figure on the staircase. On returning the artifacts, as suggested by a psychic, the manifestations ceased.

I have a couple sentiments. First, i think maybe the gentleman who came forward and said he created the heads 16 years prior, was put up to it, or paid to say that, by "powers that be" that want to hide the truth or spread disinformation. Second, on the subject of why a werewolf type creature? My opinion is that there are many classes and hierarchies of "supernatural" beings. I think depending on the laws of the unseen realm, or what some might call the spirit realm, has certain rules, authority, and areas that belong to certain types of beings. Also, think it has to do with the rituals and summoning also. Who did the summoning and for what reason. I live the next town over from bray road, and its a known fact around here that when the bray rd beast was being seen alot in the early 90's there was animal sacrifices being found, and signs of black magic. I think all this plays a part.

      I thought the same thing.
Like the guys that claimed to be the ones making Crop Circles,
But everyone they made to try and prove their claims, looked like an 8yr old built it compared to the more complex Real crop circles.

The Celtic tribes did think the head was powerful but I disagree they worshipped them but thought they could obtain power from the head..I’ve read about the Celtic tribes Britain and their beliefs, what we can make of it..
I’ve come to believe, they believed your water reflection wasn’t your reflection but your soul that was waiting in the underworld looking at you..They seemed to believe their heaven was the underworld and water was a way to it..(people name it underworld, but we don’t know the true name)..it’s the same as our world but all is upside down..So if you lost your head in battle, you wander useless in the underworld bumping into all, unable to eat or drink..So you do anything to get your head back from who took it..This includes forgiven them and even granting them power from the underworld in desperation..I believe it’s a way the warrior collecting heads won’t find a gang of headless victims ready to revenge their killing in the underworld when the warrior dies..As long as the headless soul agrees to forgive and yield to its killer in exchange for he’s head given back at some time and probably via water..So like us but more graphic, the Celtic tribes to get on in life you had to get “ahead”!(Ok,dumb joke)..So they would use heads in ritual but not so in worship of..It is also possible these heads were representations of an enemy and curses etc were put on them, like a voodoo doll..
On this case a couple of things..Normally something of Celtic Britain would be buried very deep by time..The Boy didn’t seem to have dug that deep to find them..They might have been found before later in history and dropped,so the depth would be less deep..But that’s a long shot..!
Great video,as ever.!..Please keep up the great work..All the best✌️🥸👍

The original reports did not say there was a wolf man but a half- man half sheep.
A former occupant said he had made the heads years earlier.

"You get two free ancient heads carved from stone"
    "That's good! :)"
    "The heads are cursed!"
    "Oooh, that's bad :("
"But you get a free Cornish pastie!"
    "That's good! :)"
    "...the pastie is overcooked"

so the scientists say they are made out of local stone, but the guy says he made them from cement (or so).
I don't know, but wouldn't it be pretty easy to tell if it is stone or cement? a shame the heads are gone.
would be very easy to dismiss one of those two.
and how did they end up in the soil of that garden? that was never mentioned by that guy 🤷‍♂

Mr. Cregie never explained why the heads were buried from older journalist accounts, could have been his daughter who buried them, neither scenarios are explained. I feel it was the daughter who hid the stone in the backyard, but why? Did she experience somerthing odd from the replicas.this criegie fellow sounds very stupid, even artificial. This whole plot centers around him for the stones to exist.he says he molded the stones, possible; more likely he lied; found the bland rocks and carved the faces onto them: the stones were ancient, the faces were new. Everything just doesn't fit right about him; maybe he didn't actually makes the stone heads, just took credit for it(dispite the newspaper photo,he could have made many other if its so easy to do). Think he was part of a supernatural patsey that set up the later chain of events.

It would help a great deal if you made your mind up in regards the accents you use... For example.. Having sherp features.. Not only does it sound odd, but can be very confusing... I found asking.. What did he say?, and having to go back to re listen. Herd, for head for example...heerf man... For half man. Be proud by all means of your regional dialect, but if you wish to reach a wider audience, I'd stick with RP. English...and that way, you won't keep people to much in the derk?
