If you're reading THIS comment below with how your house would get around if it had an alternative to chicken legs. That's how I'll know you read this far. 😉
Oh, and would you click that like button? And maybe subscribe? Love you forever.
Oh, the music in this show is lovely. Very much "dark cabaret", which is one of my favourite genres of music. I can definitely hear 'Great Comet' in there, also a touch of 'Dolls of New Albion' in places. Love the random Australian in this show, what's their deal? Looks like I might have to do some digging to find out more about this show.
Edit: My house would have a bunch of lil' legs, like a millipede or the luggage from Discworld.
So glad this is getting attention! I had the pleasure of studying abroad in London recently and this was the first show my group saw. We got to speak with the company afterwards, and got a photo with them haha. They were all so lovely and kind to us! This is one of the BEST shows I’ve ever seen, it tackles so many complicated themes while being accessible to many ages. Truly an incredible experience!
Okay just listened to this one and and a WONDERFUL time!! My house would have legs dawning sparkly, 52 inch platform heels, with fun lil elf bells on the toes.
What are your thoughts on the Diary of a Wimpy Kid musical? I was very surprised with how they handled the source material
Welcome back to UA-cam musical mash :)
I would never know about this musical without this video! thanks for the recommendation!
LEF are wonderful! I have read some of their scripts and they're doing something different in the best way. Do you know about Kneehigh / Wise Children? Particularly the Wild Bride, bit old now but the soundtrack is on soundcloud. bluesy folky goodness retelling the handless maiden tale - devils at the crossroads playing the bass!
Mountains.
Nice.
This seems so interesting! Thanks for putting it on my radar! Also great ~mountains~ at the end, very nice.
I live in the south, so my house may have like crawfish legs or something which sounds horrifying 😂
I remember reading at least one or two Baba Yaga stories, in I want to say in Jack and Jill Magazine when I was a kid. So this definitely sounds intriguing to me.
