    Hey Bastien 👋🏼
    That's a great video you've made & an epic module 👍🏼
I'm very grateful to read there's a DIY version available as well 🙏🏼
What is the LZX Cadet module you patched into for the last minute of the video? My phone screen is too small to see it well enough. Thanks for replying.

Thanks Robin! The capture video is covering 2x Cadet VCO and a Cadet Fader, one VCO set to horizontal and the other one to vertical and fading between those, output of the fader is sent to CV in of CBV001, making the diamond/rhombus shape you can see around 11:10

what capture card do you use? the results you get with it are a lot clearer than what i get with what i’m using 😳

I was using Black Magic Intensity 4K (pci-e version) and composite in, though now I found that using BM Analog to SDI + SDI to HDMI and feeding HDMI to the Intensity gives better result (mostly the composite filtering that is done better, as seen here syntonie.fr/wp-content/uploads/2020/09/BMCVBS.png, right is direct composite in and left is going through SDI/HDMI). Also, no TBC involved in the recording of the demo video, so the capture card drops sometimes, though it avoids adding another conversion in the chain, so result might be a little bit more detailed. Which capture card are you using?

@@syntonie1487 i can't remember the exact name of it but it's a relatively cheap piece of junk that goes straight from RCA to USB. it drops a lot when you put glitched signals into it, and the color drops out a lot with normal signals. not completely worthless given how it can look kind of cool sometimes

@@syntonie1487 is there a cheaper alternative to the SDI converters

@@voi4 cheapest recording solution for Composite is probably Easycap/Easyday USB capture cards. It's a bit tedious finding the right drivers on Windows, then they work fairly decently. There is a dedicated app on MacOS, though it only worked for NTSC last time I checked. Then when it comes to analog glitch processing (as CBV001 does), capture is a little tricky as glitch tends to corrupt sync, so users generally prefer to do "rescan" (filming the screen of a CRT monitor), as CRTs handle glitch pretty well, and you can then record in whatever the resolution of the camera you use. Was using my phone for a while and got decent results.

they are already up on modulargrid, you need to enable the "others/unknown" checkbox though (edit: Syntonie has been added as a manufacturer, should be easier to search for now)
