Are there yard sales? I don't know if your country bans yard sales or not because I live in the United States so I don't know your country laws oof. But no THRIFT STORES?! That's the weirdest thing I've ever heard. That must suck SO MUCH OOF 😧😧😧
Mike P Go on eBay, they have plenty of Crazy, fun and strange things on their that people want to get rid of! If you ever get a chance to come out to the U.S., there's millions of thrift stores and antique shops and consignment shops to look through, it's fun to walk through and see so much interesting things! 😁
In a local thrift store in Eastern Kansas, on July 1, 2012, I bought an old card trick book. I was in my mid 50's, and this was a sentimental reminder of an interest I had as a young boy. I opened the book when I got it home, and saw that one of its first pages had a note of appreciation that was written to a woman named Irene. And I noted that the man who signed the note had a very unusual first name. I began reading the book, and it wasn't long before I encountered that same name again, in the text of the book! Dai Vernon. I did some research, and here is what I discovered: Dai Vernon was a very famous magician who both performed and lived at the Magic Castle in Los Angeles, California. And he had apparently given this card trick book, with it's note of appreciation, to Irene Larson, who was the co-owner of the Magic Castle! What was the book doing here? Irene was still alive, I discovered, though Dai Vernon had died in 1992. What's the book worth? Don't know and don't care, because I'll never sell it. And here's why: Dai Vernon's note to Irene Larson had made me think of myself and my wife. And exactly one year to the day after I bought that book, on July 1, 2013, my beautiful wife passed away. She had been injured in an accident. And she died at 52 years of age. There are 52 cards in a deck of cards.....God talks to me through synchronicites often, and they are sometimes even more amazing than this one. I've been blessed beyond imagination, and have been given the secrets of this Universe. If you're interested, give me a click and see where that can take you....
Hey Macklemore, can we go thrift shopping? What what what what what what what what what what what what what I’m going to pop some tags only got 20 dollars in my pocket looking for a come up this is fucking awesome now walk into the strip club like what up I’ve got a big cock
My grandpa once bought a gun stock because he knew what it was but the one selling it (at the flea market) did not. So he bought it very cheap and he popped the back off and all the gun parts were in it.
The best thing I ever got from a thrift store was a brand new hard cover Harry Potter book that didn't have a price on it so they gave it to me for free.
Best two buys from trift, a beanbag for a fifth of the price I couldn't find any pricetag so I asked the staff who couldn't find it either. When I got home I found a small tag in the bottom. Second find was a set of six glas coaster in a religious trift store, made in style of anient greek painting. The kicker, they have sexual positions.
2:37 OMG My grandmother had that EXACT SAME ring! It is an emerald flower with a diamond in the middle and a golden ring! And hers cost about 1,000$ because it came with a necklace and bracelet. The necklace is now mine, along with a gold and copper leaf shaped ring.
Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. Some of these I wouldn't bring home because even though it looks cool by itself, you just can't match it with anything else.
Teddy Universe I do question some of the prices. Goodwill needs to make money too. At some point, as a consumer you need to offer to pay more to these non profits
Teddy Universe I’ve seen them for free in perfect order. They’re huge, and a lot of the times, the stores just want them gone, but don’t want to have to deal with disposal.
8:00 "Yeah we're selling this coffin. We bought it a couple months ago, but it turns out that great aunt Cathy made it after all. You wouldn't happen to be dying soon, would you? If you are, I'd be willing to throw in a free bouquet of flowers when they bury you." WTF HOW IS THIS AN EXAMPLE OF SOMEONE WHO FOUND THE BEST THINGS IN THRIFT STORES??
I love the local thrift stores. Among the goodies found... - Dale Earnhardt 1979 Pontiac Ventura #15 die cast, mint condition - End table made from scrap wood that I stripped & refinished - Dmitri Shostakovich complete quartets, 6 cd set - Unsigned watercolor of Roman ruins capriccio - G M Trevelyan History Of England, three paperback set from library of Pennsylvania state senator Harris Woffard - Elegant matching lamps with butterflies and tree flowers - Marilyn Stokstad History Of Art in perfect condition for $3 ($120 new) - Persian rug for $2. Holds room together.
In 2003 at a yard sale I found a soundcard and I/O module with remote and a couple other associated electronics for $3. The (current at that time) in store price for the same items was $175 . That was my best 2nd hand find. Oh yeah another time I found some P/A speakers in the dumpster at work.... nothing was wrong with them. And another time in 2001, after prior approval from management, me and a buddy found a couple original copies of Windows 2000 Pro with original packaging and product codes in the back dumpster at work. We used to collect old office chairs and take all the broken pieces off and replace with still good parts from other chairs and give them to whoever needed office chairs.
I found an antique Japanese tanto dagger from around the 1830's- cost me $1.50. It was amazing. Looked it up later and found that usually those sell for upwards of $300.
FollowerofChrist Penticostal Sometimes the people working there don't realize the worth of the item and if it's oversized and not selling, they will put a cheaper price on it.
The other day I was at value village and found a turtle neck sweater I wanted and it still had the original tag on it. I got it for $15 when it was originally $140 and i don’t think it had been worn yet.
I'm DYING!!!! My mother has that same unicorn mirror!!!! She's had it sense I was a little girl! So probably got it in her teenage years! What a shock to see that in the video!
Here in Jax Fla...the Thrift Stores keep stuff in the back for their friends or things that they personally like..there is never good stuff out in the sells room....another reason WHY the damn places are always EMPTY of SHOPPERS! ..DONT GIVE YOU'RE STUFF TO THESE PLACES.. have a yard sale. ..please!!
I sold vintage clothing on eBay years ago. Sold a Peruvian Football Adidas track jacket for $250, bought it for $5 at a Salvation Army store, no clue why it had so much interest. I also sold a beige t-shirt that simply said “Madonna is my mother” on it for $300, yes $300, I found it at a thrift store for $1.50. Later found out it was made by a nyc artist who was somewhat of a celebrity in the late 90’s
1:57 I got one of those after I had already owned a bolt action rifle for a while. I figured out where the grooves would be when it was closed, made some marks on both parts of the outside of the cane and ground off sections of the threading so that it could simply be pushed in and given a quarter turn and it would lock it. A simple quarter turn and it could be unlocked and withdrawn. Viola! A "bolt-action" sword cane!
The only best thing i ever found was this yard sale, and this guy was selling everything antique. I bought 3 mini vases and a vintage camera, all together was $8. But he also has some awesome looking antique suit cases. I wish he had a yard sale again. I...love...antique!
what makes this really cool is that the people get what they really want and need for really cheap prices instead of selling there souls to get something they might just throw away or might break after a while 🙃
7:00 you better know how to tune it. I've tried to tune one after i got new strings for it but i just ended up messing it up even worse and had to hire an actual tuner for like $50.

This video makes me want to go to a thrift store but at the same time is also giving me PTSD flashbacks of when I worked at one and my boss told me to throw away a complete 1911 edition of Encyclopedia Americana in mint condition. I stole a lot of things out of the garbage at that place (including a perfectly functional 1950's bathroom scale that I still use) but that time I didn't for some reason and I still regret it.
Do you go to thrift stores? 🤔

Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. Some of these I wouldn't bring home because even though it looks cool by itself, you just can't match it with anything else.
3:34 you got an organ for fifty cents, yeah right. ':|
Teddy Universe I do question some of the prices. Goodwill needs to make money too. At some point, as a consumer you need to offer to pay more to these non profits
I think they meant $50...
Lewis Upfold Sometimes if something has been sitting there for a while and they want to get rid of it, they might low ball the price.
And I got some lungs and a kidney for two dollars XD
Teddy Universe I’ve seen them for free in perfect order. They’re huge, and a lot of the times, the stores just want them gone, but don’t want to have to deal with disposal.
Im envious how lucky these folks are..

A Wurlitzer Organ for $0.50 come on! That's fake! There's no way and how is a diamond and Gold ring that cheap?!?! 😮 #BRUH
The ring was really cheap most likely because the previous owner thought it was fake and did not know that it was worth so much
The organ price may have been a typo or they just really wanted it gone
FollowerofChrist Penticostal Sometimes the people working there don't realize the worth of the item and if it's oversized and not selling, they will put a cheaper price on it.
Daddy Smurf what the heck is your profile pic, name, and “About” desc?
FollowerofChrist Penticostal hey meant 50 and they might have thought that the ring wasn’t real
I found an antique set of barrister cases for 13.98, worth about 1200.00
why do i feel like all of these are from guys who got married and their wives made them get rid of it
Right? Especially the unicorn mirror and the diamond & emerald ring!
they made regrets and want to forget so they sold all of it Lol
@@hiko73 Yeah, because a dude would wear that ring..... just saying.
I love that what people happy isn't necessarily something that's worth a fortune.

I got one of those after I had already owned a bolt action rifle for a while.
Anyone else think these pictures and captions are fake?
Aditya Venkatram Yeah I think maybe they found them off of Google
Aditya Venkatram not me you can find AMEZING things at thrift stores
Probably, but what proof do I have that the things in the video are actually from a thrift store?
Probably considering the burger phone is on wish for a dollar so how lucky is it🤷🏻♀️

Need. That. Now.
what makes this really cool is that the people get what they really want and need for really cheap prices instead of selling there souls to get something they might just throw away or might break after a while 🙃
