Bass part adapted from the cello part by me - no pitch changes, only altered octaves to make things a bit more playable for someone without an extension and tried to keep the direction of intervals intact as much as possible.
This recording is under tempo with metronome clicking eighth notes @ 200 BPM. Equivalent to dotted quarter = 66 BPM (goal =76 BPM)

Thanks! I colored it myself when I took a bass setup class. The fingerboard on this poor plywood beast had never been shaped properly, so when I started that process it uncovered a maple fingerboard painted black instead of an ebony one. I asked the teachers what they typically use to re-stain a fingerboard and they said that by far the best thing they found was plain ol' boxed black hair dye from the drug store! I didn't have any of that on-hand but I had all the colors I use on my own hair so I used that and it worked just fine!
My only regret is that I chose an aesthetic candy striped diagonal pattern because I never really intended to play it again but uhhh.... here I am making videos for my kiddos and occasionally sitting in to boost other local ensembles so my fingerboard is covered in light pencil markings to mark positions - WOMP. Had I known I'd have to start playing again, however rarely, I would have designed a pattern that lined up properly with various positions LOL
