Fire Marshall Bill evolved from a rejected skit called The Death Wish Foundation. It involved a posthumous wish for a kid to go on the rollercoaster *after* death.
Yeah you’re right he looks like a Papa Smurf figure but if you were to look like him, he would need to be in all red with no shirt and a white beard to look apart
When I was 12 I spent the night at my 89 year old grandmas house. I convinced her to watch the new Jim Carrey movie with me. 90 minutes of awkward silence then we pretended that we didn't just watch a movie with a 12" dildo in it. Now its a good memory but then, man was it awkward. She was the kind of person who said heck instead of hell so this was a whole different movie for her lol!
One of the funniest Jim Carrey movies, hands down. It's also sadly one of his most forgotten and underappreciated it seems. But man, the writing in this is top tier, and the overall comedy is just unreal between Carrey himself (and both his characters) and the rest of the actors. That opening alone is "iconic" as the kiddos say these days lol This and There's Something About Mary, I mean come on???
@@dinobravo23 It’s almost like humor is subjective, and different people find different things funny. Oh wait, that’s exactly the case! Leave the guy alone. Another GREAT Jim Carrey movie that will show you a completely different side of him and shows his range as a dramatic actor is The Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. I guarantee you'll cry.
My favourite Farrelly brothers’ movie is The Heartbreak kid with Ben Stiller, his dad and Malin Akerman. It’s a remake of the 1972 movie but it’s one of the best movie remake. A funny and very underrated romcom
The Farelly Brothers put out great comedies, This one, Kingpin and Dumb&Dumber. Between the Farelly Brothers and the Wayans Brothers, there's so much awesome and raunchy comedies 😂😂.
Well, of course you like that color blue, J. That's that good blue. That's Wrigley Blue! Chicago Cub Blue! The best of all possible blues! You wear it well, so wear it with pride, my guy!
Me, Myself, & Irene is such a funny movie. It was one of my grandfather's favorite Jim Carrey movies (my grandfather was a huge Jim Carrey fan). I'll never forget the first time I saw it when it was brand new on DVD with my late grandfather when I was 4 years old (I know this movie wasn't and isn't appropriate for a 4 year old to watch). My parents had this movie in their collection of DVD's, took it from their collection, and put it in my DVD player in my room for my grandfather and I to watch. Now, I knew who Jim Carrey was before I saw this movie. In fact, just prior to seeing it, my grandfather and I just got done watching Batman Forever and The Mask on DVD. I put Me, Myself, & Irene into my DVD player and I just remember that every scene in this movie made my grandfather and I laugh so hard.
You really need to react to The Court Jester with Danny Kaye. It came out in 1956 but if you want to see crazy talent you need to witness Danny at his finest.
Menta is a group of geniuses! 😂. A social experiment for menta. She's the president of the Providence chapter... 😂😂😂. Those little bastards are smart! That's just good genes. 😂😂😂❤❤
Bruh, I've seen this at least twenty times since I saw it in theaters when it first came out, and not Once did I ever have the thought: "What's gonna happen when Hank finds out that Charlie has black kids?! " 😂🤣 Thank you sir, for adding More drunken Denny's conversations to be had regarding this Underrated film!
My only complaint is that you left out one of my favorite little parts- where the sons all give Charlie a kiss on the cheek “Muah, daddy!” 😘 hahaha just love it!
@memelord3117 I just appreciate that scene so much more now! That was what really drove home the bond and love they have for each other, but also just the funniest scene of the whole movie too. Jim Carey and Anthony Anderson improvised so well with each other. I’d love to see them work together in more movies.
@ think he went from 5-7 u can look it up on top 10 times Jim went off script. Just like in pet detective two when he starts singing Chitty Chitty Bang Bang he did that out of nowhere and caught him off guard as well and there kept it in. Lol
Jamal, Lee Harvey and Shaunte Jr deserved their own movie series.
13:49 » _But you know the rules when I go: no b¡ŧches after 11 pm._ 🙂
😂🤣😂🤣😂
The milk moustache makes me laugh every single time and one of the sons saying, “pull yo ass out”
The Cotton mouth 👄 scene reminds me when he was Fire Marshall Bill in A Living Color 😂
"Not to worry folks. I'm a fire marshall"
Yeah no sh*t
Totally forgot about that
Fire Marshall Bill evolved from a rejected skit called The Death Wish Foundation. It involved a posthumous wish for a kid to go on the rollercoaster *after* death.

My man out here lookin like Papa Smurf, and pulling it off!
😂😂😂

This is one of those movies you just sit back and enjoy the craziness because you know you're in for a ride
Jim Carrey is the ONLY person who could have pulled this off. He's amazing.
Ben Stiller probably could have if he was jacked up on espresso for certain scenes...
@@Blutteufel uh no! Ben Stiller is terrible… what in the world makes you think that he could do anything Jim Carrey could?

🤣🤣 I swear it is - J
Glad you enjoyed this, amigo. Jim Carrey is a singular talent.

Jim does pretty much the same thing in Liar, Liar. He kicks his own ass in the courtroom bathroom
The Farrelly Brothers also directed Dumb & Dumber and There's Something About Mary, where J would recognize them from.
That’s what I came here to say.
There’s Something About Mary is way overrated
