- The video you have all been waiting for! This is a quick walkthrough of my brand new bass boat for the upcoming season. You will see a lot more of it as time goes on and I can't wait to get out on the water and get after it!

I’ve had the same boat since 1998. I just repower and upgrade everything and keep fishing. Next upgrade is flooring. That new stuff. Not carpet.

Exactly! The first time you close that lid and that "boom" sounds off in the water, she gone...
Why not closing pistons?
@@davidweigel2238 the friction hinges stop in any position. If the closing is loud it's because he is slamming the lid down. If anything he could add foam or a gasket where edges would hit but also the inside is lined with hydroturf to cut down on noise.
Bought a 20 footer with a 250 Susuki on the back a little over a year ago. Great boat!
Looking at same boat same engine. How fast? Maybe think to go upto a 21ft

those compartment doors seem kinda loud? you going to put anything down to cut the noise out or roll like it is? do you use anything to keep moisture out?
They don't get any moisture in them pulled mine in 10 hour rain storm and not a drop of water in them. They way the deck drains is awesome!
This is awesome! Just putting the current rig on the market and ordering one of these! Lifetime warranty, 250 merc on tin rig tons of storage with the sea deck and tandem axle trailer...they’ve definitely hit the mark with this layout and plans

@@andyyerger9001 trying to stay close to where the glass rig is/are in the $70-$74k range any extras or customization I’d probably do as money down to keep amt financed to that range. Obviously can’t know what otd amt would be so give or take an amount I understand. Just changed to the raptors and one boat network so hopefully that’s an option on the rig. Jack plate, sea deck, foot pads for poles, would be first options or requirement options. I’ve ran bobs and atlas and honestly don’t have an absolute has to be this brand plate. If you have a partnership with either or a stip from one of them I’m fine with that. Had tons of hits on mine but with weather right now in south no one to pull the trigger and bring a check. So weather, the damn corona I wouldn’t have a tight schedule or deadline for production but wouldn’t want to wait 9-12 months after we get order and options done. I’m gonna go back to website and look at options again on the strike series. The way Keith optioned his out looks good.

I'm thinking of getting same boat but making it a center console like nitro did back in the day. They make a high center console but I think I'd want it low like a regular bassboat console just double wide.

They will build you what ever you want. If you got the $ they will build it.
That would look bad ass as I never see any low seated center console.
I was going to build it but the price was to high. The extras I wanted only added 2k so I just thought the base price was to high in my opinion
I'm looking at the same boat. Why did you not flush mount the console unit?
Because once you cut that hole that is the only unit that will ever fit. And 2 he will use it a year and get another 1. So the next guy who actually pays for the boat can cut it up any way he wants.
But the first reason is why every one I know does not cut the hole.

Bad ass boat but dadgum them lids are loud! They need to add some rubber or something to keep them quiet. Closing that lid while sittin on a bed would run them all off.
You can have them put on or you can put on pneumatic rods. I put the rods and lights with switches like the refrigerator on my aluminum boat. And put weather stripping as you say. The weather stripping kinda stops the water from leaving that area for it all to drain out the boat when you take a wave or something.

Good afternoon Keith my name is David I follow you on Major League bass fishing and I like the fact that you use aluminum boats I live in Fort Lauderdale how far do I have to drive in Florida to see a gator Trax boat and where do I have to go
South Louisiana. Deep South. Most people use aluminum boats because like Louisiana there are stump fields. Millions of stumps. And you run over them all day long. I only know of 1 lake in Fl. with wood structure. FL. Is 98% vegetation. So I am just curious why you want an aluminum boat.
They are much less expensive than fiberglass
Fast Duck Motors in Astor FL is a Gator Trax dealer . Give Sid a call , he probably won't have a Strike Series on hand but he sure likes to talk about boats . Been there a couple of times and it's a whole lot better than Disney . Gonna order a 1962 gt w 200hp all laid out too my specs in a couple of months

Yes but not same hull
I bet that boat hauls ass with that 250 on the back of that light aluminum hull.
The hull is just as heavy as many fiberglass boats because of extreme bracing and thicker aluminum. This is not your typical aluminum cheap build. This is built like a tank.
My 20fter weighs 3100 lbs loaded out.

I think about early 2000's , I've setting my sights on the 1862gt w/150 set up with the nite fishing/gigging/shrimping lites with all the goodies , I gonna try to keep it under 50K

They do, but you're not looking at a tracker or express here, it'll still get up there in price if you let it.
