I don’t think people realize how sick this boat is! I’m not joking either! Spider web technology baby and handles big water like a champion and I mean the boat! One day
I'm thinking of getting same boat but making it a center console like nitro did back in the day. They make a high center console but I think I'd want it low like a regular bassboat console just double wide.
Because once you cut that hole that is the only unit that will ever fit. And 2 he will use it a year and get another 1. So the next guy who actually pays for the boat can cut it up any way he wants. But the first reason is why every one I know does not cut the hole.
those compartment doors seem kinda loud? you going to put anything down to cut the noise out or roll like it is? do you use anything to keep moisture out?
Bad ass boat but dadgum them lids are loud! They need to add some rubber or something to keep them quiet. Closing that lid while sittin on a bed would run them all off.
You can have them put on or you can put on pneumatic rods. I put the rods and lights with switches like the refrigerator on my aluminum boat. And put weather stripping as you say. The weather stripping kinda stops the water from leaving that area for it all to drain out the boat when you take a wave or something.
Man I’m guilty of that too. The other day someone asked me why would you want a stereo in your house. I told him it’s kinda like those guys who drive down the street blasting hip hop and mariachi music, except it’s a house doing it not a car. It’s not kinda like that, it’s exactly the same thing. Thats real nice , real nice . Do you still have your small aluminum river runner ? I saw you at a fuel station early am when i was stormin . That boat you had really sparked everyone up . We could tow it with a bucket truck when on storm
Good afternoon Keith my name is David I follow you on Major League bass fishing and I like the fact that you use aluminum boats I live in Fort Lauderdale how far do I have to drive in Florida to see a gator Trax boat and where do I have to go
South Louisiana. Deep South. Most people use aluminum boats because like Louisiana there are stump fields. Millions of stumps. And you run over them all day long. I only know of 1 lake in Fl. with wood structure. FL. Is 98% vegetation. So I am just curious why you want an aluminum boat.
Fast Duck Motors in Astor FL is a Gator Trax dealer . Give Sid a call , he probably won't have a Strike Series on hand but he sure likes to talk about boats . Been there a couple of times and it's a whole lot better than Disney . Gonna order a 1962 gt w 200hp all laid out too my specs in a couple of months
The hull is just as heavy as many fiberglass boats because of extreme bracing and thicker aluminum. This is not your typical aluminum cheap build. This is built like a tank.
I think about early 2000's , I've setting my sights on the 1862gt w/150 set up with the nite fishing/gigging/shrimping lites with all the goodies , I gonna try to keep it under 50K
Slick looking boat Keith. You just got yourself a brand new 20’ stump/beaver dam jumper didn’t you?😂😂😂 Being that you wear flip flops a lot, is the deck made of a good flip resistant material? Go get ‘em!
I just ordered a 1970gt w/200hp zuke , 36 volt Rodan , bow fishing lights and dual axel aluminum trailer laid out the way I want it for $72K out the door
Hey man, don't wrap it unless you absolutely have to. It So distorts the look that you can't tell what the heck it is. The boat looks great in it's factory coloring. It's so different looking. Not like all the wrapped boats.
Probably the most impressive aluminum bass boat I have ever looked at. Good video!
Every bass guy “I love this boat it’s the best one ever”. Until next year
yup easy to say when they get paid to and get a free one every year
I’ve had the same boat since 1998. I just repower and upgrade everything and keep fishing. Next upgrade is flooring. That new stuff. Not carpet.
@@nrxhavoc he payed for that boat

Gator trax are built down the street from me, definitely one of the best aluminum boats out there.
This thing is awesome! One of the best looking rigs I've ever seen, glass or aluminum!
need to add some round foam strips around the front boxes to cut down on that boom sound when you close them.
Exactly what I was thinking
Not needed because of friction hinges
Exactly! The first time you close that lid and that "boom" sounds off in the water, she gone...
Why not closing pistons?
@@davidweigel2238 the friction hinges stop in any position. If the closing is loud it's because he is slamming the lid down. If anything he could add foam or a gasket where edges would hit but also the inside is lined with hydroturf to cut down on noise.

I've been following gatertrax for a few years now. I just need to wait till after March before making a move. Wish I could just do it now.
I just built one with them it’s a fun process!!
Keith, very nice! Would love to see a picture of the wrap when it's done.🐟🎣
Bought a 20 footer with a 250 Susuki on the back a little over a year ago. Great boat!

Keith you need to do a video of your GatorTrax GT boat.
I second this.
So glad to see this brother.. my son's and I are seriously considering getting one. Beautiful well made boats!
Go for it!
Could you please do a follow up and give us some dimensions of the front deck?? Width of total boat on trailer??? Love Gator Trax!!!!
Gator trax has a video on his boat as well.

Congratulations on the new boat. Beauty
Keith Poche been following you on your off the grid episodes and MLF. I was wondering how much does the Gator Trax weigh fully loaded down?
That Boat is one Killer Ride! Everything about is just Bad to the Bone bro.. Best of luck this Season!🔥🎣👍💯🐟
Awesome boat
Sounds like a 1975 Ford tail gate closing.
You can go everywhere as far as the edge of the world! GoGoGo!
Very nice. My dream boat no doubt.
Why not make a self baling aluminum Jon boat?
Slick rig Keith... I'd love to have one made one day for messing around on in the bay, pulling crab traps, and some bass fishing too...
Thanks. They can get you fixed up.
Congrats on the new boat
Jealous. Love me a Gator Trax. Tempting to make it my next boat. Was my plan for the first boat but need that $$$green$$$ for the Gator Trax.
Awesome boat. And good luck this year Keith
Sweet Boat! Love the latches and tough hull. If I was buying I would definitely give them a shout!
I fish the Tracker 195 w/150 Mercury, but, this freaking boat is NICE!
How fast will that boat go? You got a stainless steel prop?
This thing makes a Back Scratcher 195/w150hp look like a dinghy
Need to see it after the wrap.
No built in bottle opener and where is the vieeenee dispenser?
What model cranking battery? Do you have your Pan optics on the cranking battery?
One bad-to-the-bone aluminum ride!

Good for you Kieth let the haters hate!

Gator Trax did a video on this particular boat.

The best aluminum boat you can buy

that will work
They will build you what ever you want. If you got the $ they will build it.
That would look bad ass as I never see any low seated center console.
I was going to build it but the price was to high. The extras I wanted only added 2k so I just thought the base price was to high in my opinion
