Here is my Unboxing and first look at the HP Spectre X360 15t with Intel's 11th generation Tiger Lake CPU.

I'm really thinking about buying this one since there is a great deal in my country.
Also curious about battery life since this one doesn't have a dGPU but instead the latest processor.
I ordered the 15 on cyber Monday with oled, 16gig and 512 optane, are you expecting reviews soon, my only hesitation was wondering whether I should have gone with 14t, mobility isn’t really an issue, use it mostly for astrophotography and stacking type processing

If it's got tiger lake, iris xe & wifi 6 & no evo sticker I can't help wondering if that's because it fails to reach evo standard battery life. Unless I'm forgetting another criteria, which is very possible.
I think it is going to be important to understand the thermals of all the different tigerlake laptops.... read a few articles explaining how each laptop may perform very differently based on how manufactures decided to keep the chip cool.... ie reduced wattage, fans etc, I think you briefly alluded to the 15” not getting as hot , that could mean it will run at a higher clock speed or it could just mean your still stuck at a lower clock speed but have a cooler machine. Are you messing with any of the modes, dynamic tuning, performance etc

Tiger lake was awesome but the M1 chip makes it look like trash.😅
As usual it depends on what software you need to run, M1 won’t run my astrophotography programs so it would literally be trash
Precisely my point about Apple hardware.
I 100% agree but am also a regular consumer😅 I like playing casual games and do homework with my computer. My problem is that apple makes Intel feel like that was 3 generations ago.
@@AG-fv4wd Apple is actually in the position to be several gens ahead in processing speed for many years, the breaking point for consumers though will be running benchmarks on a Mac running in emulation mode against Intel and AMD native chips.... if the companies like parallels are able to pull off a win then that changes everything, programmers will end up being forced to rewrite,. It is possible that occurs.... but for now you can’t run anything in emulation mode, I’m comfortable with a pc purchase now because I think we are at least a couple years away from this discussion
