He was a 1st place champion btw on dirtbikes in his local racing organization the kid is a winner at every hobby .I just want to give him a sense of freedom & control with the FPV world of drones / cars / planes 🫡
Yes. Head-tracker output (ppm) can be mapped to any output channel with RC transmitter that has that capability. Like a Radiomaster MT12: www.getfpv.com/radiomaster-mt12-surface-radio-controller-w-er3c-i-receiver-elrs-2-4ghz.html Or other flight radios that has trainer mode which recognize head-tracker input as student input.
What is the distance and how do you get it to go that far without cutting out and how many of these can be operated within the same vicinity at one time?
Hi, I just discovered your channel recently and I fell in love with the head tracking fpv flight footage! Unfortunately it's a headache in Germany to fly planes with cameras onboard. Then I saw this and it is almost as cool. Can you provide either a list of components to buy for exactly this setup or sell it to me? I have no experience in RC stuff, do a one stop solution would be best for me. Best, Luca

Nice
Hey man, I love this video!
Would you mind sharing what that orange camera is? I've been having a hard time finding non-FPV very small cameras.
Thanks!
It’s RunCam 2 4K
This is awesome!!! Can you post a list of the parts you got to set this up? I need to try this.
The FPV components in this video was last generation. Here’s a more current list:

Is there a way to make the servos on the head tracking system become a left / right & forward / reverse for the truck instead & you mount the camera like regular ? My 13 year old nephew had been paralyzed for a year now & I want to get him to have control of RC car / drone possibly. I know the drone would only be head tracking for camera & I could fly it for him . He has a wheel chair that he controls with his head & he’s nimble with it so that gave me the idea . I used to build FPV drones for years before his accident I used to chase him on his dirt bikes while flying drones .
Like a Radiomaster MT12:
www.getfpv.com/radiomaster-mt12-surface-radio-controller-w-er3c-i-receiver-elrs-2-4ghz.html
Or other flight radios that has trainer mode which recognize head-tracker input as student input.
make a video about the setup
This looks so fun 🎉
Indeed it was!
What is the distance and how do you get it to go that far without cutting out and how many of these can be operated within the same vicinity at one time?
Depending on the radio used and how many things are blocking signal transmission. Goggles allow up to 7 players to play together at once.
this is insanely cool
Thanks. Cheers!
Best,
Luca

@@motionsic What car is it? And which receiver/transmitter did you use?
You will also need a surface radios controller that has DSC port to accept head-tracker signal like RadioLink: ua-cam.com/video/0H5zo-yfWdw/v-deo.html
It’s fairly straight forward to setup all the components with included instructions. We are happy to help if you have any questions.

@@LimaUniformCharlieA the car is this one: www.redcatracing.com/products/redcat-wendigo-1-10-scale-brushless-electric-rc-rock-racer
The controller I used is a RC plane controller, which you do not need.
You can use this one: www.amazon.com/Radiolink-Transmitter-Receiver-Crawler-Drifting/dp/B07DPNNTWT
How do you get the head tracker to work I have DJI camera as well can you do a video showing how to
A separate head-tracker is physically attached to goggles to sense head movement then sends PPM signal to RC transmitter via trainer cable to control two channels assigned for pan and tilt. Then just plug the pan & tilt servo to two channels on receiver onboard.
This has certainly got good fun and sinister intent written all over it along with defensive nature as well
Awesome as always!!!
Thanks Domingo!
This is the Grand Tourismo killer right here. This is what we want ✧\(>o

@@motionsic thx. This is better than buying a PS5. I cant believe it exists.
@@motionsic i just checked out the links. I cant believe the prices.... I was expecting to see minimum $300 for the cheapest component. I cant believe you can get this all for about $1000 (⊙_◎). Wow. Granted you need an rc smthn for it too but still thats incredible. I will b honest, i am not 100% into getting a ps5 bcoz i got other things to do, so ps5 or this all in same boat. Lol. Can u imagine this on the rc cars made by that Q90 guy on youtube? Man, when i was a kid this is what we wanted in our rc's. Small toyan 4cyl 4 strokes and complete in car view while driving.
@@rashadabdullah9769 JohnnyQ90 has amazing builds! Would be amazing to drive one from the driver seat! So not only for cars, we fly planes the same realistic way. So whether go on driving expedition with friends, or practicing formation flying or dogfight in a jet. Head-tracking FPV gives unrivaled realism for reasonable RC budget🙂
@@motionsic yea, i dont want to get into planes until i know i wont crash 90% of the time LOL but i have a question for you if you do not mind. Grand Theft Auto 5 flying a plane vs your method here. Are they similar? Im pretty sure the flight mechanics in GAT5 have lot of bullshit added to it just like in Fromsoft games. I hate bullshit. In real life when there is something wrong you fix it or adjust it. In these games the devs seem to be a bunch of assholes.
🥰🤩💥💯👍👏👏👏
this is how the aliens are controlling us right now
Extraterrestrial or illegal aliens?🤣
Could you imagine a drift car with this! And working gauges
Yep! Waiting for drift people to see the light😉
@@motionsic soon hopefully 🤞
Very nice!
I am more of a fpv drone enthusiast but this makes me want to buy a car and put one of my dji fpv units in it.
Which rc cars would you recommend that aren't too expensive and easy enough to fit the motionsic gimbal in it ?
Also does the head tracker work with the radiomaster zorro transmitter ?
This Redcat Wendigo fits the gimbal nicely, I think other rock crawler or rock racers in the 1/10 scale would work, too.
RadioMaster Zorro has a DSC port to connect with our head tracker (using trainer function), so it works!
Read this page: fpvdogfight.com/blogs/news/head-tracking-fpv-setup-on-rc-plane-or-car
@@motionsic Thanks for the quick response. The wendigo seems nice indeed, but I don't think there is any physical or online rc shop in France (where I live) proposing it.
What is the other blue car of your buddy in the video ? it also looks nice.
I assume that you will run in frequency overlapping issues when you doing a race with a lot of peoples.
The FPV system I use allow up to seven people playing together.
Really cool! Subscribed!
I see jet pilots FPV! Do they have youtube channel?
Yeah sure! Which ones are you thinking of?
@@motionsic Those jet fov team flyers?
VERY nice stuff. You're using an air receiver and transmitter? All of this head tracking stuff is now incorporated in the RadioLink land receivers and transmitters too - pistol grip style.
Wow Great! Thanks for letting me know. Need to go buy one and test it out. Care to share a link?
🔥🔥🔥🔥
I wonder if this would work with a 360 camera so you don't have to worry about the camera having to move around
Hey my friend I got s question about the headtracker. Will it work with my fat shark scout goggles? I need ahead tracker bad. Please help me!!!
Got you taken taken care off. Let me know if you have other questions.
@@motionsic thanks brother I really appreciate it. When it arrives I will probably hit you up again on the setup.👍👊
