I will never forget a time when my husband and I prayed in a cafe' before our meal. When the couple next to us got up to leave, the man came by and thanked us for praying. He said it meant a lot to him to see people honoring the Lord in public. I know what he meant; I feel that way when I see people praying. Thank you for sharing.
We live in a 1989 16'X80' mobile home. We have worked on it since we bought it in 2016. I see the beauty I had hoped to see in some areas. But am still waiting to finish others. I truly love and appreciate my home. It is paid for. We are warm in the winter and comfortable in the summer. We are so very blessed.
I have those same dishes. When my husband and I got married 20 yrs ago, he had a 2 place setting . I fell in love with them. So I went on a search for them. I now have a 12 place setting with serving pieces. It took me a long time to find them thrifting, but I did find them.

The only part of my home that needs some attention is the garage. The sunroom and den could use some paint only because the roofers nailed with such force that paint chips fell off. ~ Janet 😘
We bought a very small cottage in oregon by the bay and when i say small, I mean small.. its only 465 sq ft.. it's a mess and unliveable at the moment.. we haven't decided which direction to take it it yet. Right now we have time to take our time as money comes in to fix it up becuz we are staying and taking care of my mom who is disabled... I absolutely love tasha tudor. I have a couple of dvds on her and most of her books. I loved the way she lived..

I’m watching while ironing on my 56 yr. Old ironing board- it was a wedding gift back in 1968! It was made so well and is so sturdy! Each year I get a new cover and then it’s good as new.

I love second hand stuff as well, almost my whole house is second hand. I love the new print! Even if the mouth of the jar is small you can use a funnel to add crushed herbs and such, I save my jars too. I never cook my lasagna noodles. I put them in dry, cover and cook, they always cook just fine. I’ve never tried ricotta, just cottage cheese and mozzarella. Everything is looking lovely ❤️

Your style and mine is so much alike.. we have a 1930 farm house.. it has been and still is a work in progress.. but we love our home.. we have slowly picked up items from yard sale thrift stores and things people have given us and have turned this old farmhouse into a home that you just feel at peace in....
