Exactly… each day here in the usa is harder than the last. I’m so tired of struggling to stay balanced. I want to hide, to retreat, but it’s nearly impossible when our lives are so intertwined with the world. One day at a time, finding sanctuary in small moments.
Colette, if you shut down all your social media then the message that you have to spread will be lost to the world and only the ugliest of what the world is now experiencing will be heard. We need you. The world needs you. ❤

Dear Colette, my name is Mariana and I am a 30 year old girl from Portugal. I have been diagnosed with cancer twice in my twenties and during those dark times the only thing that brought me peace was to be surrounded by nature, to be in nature. When I couldn't, because I was too weak to be outside, your videos would bring the healing power of mother nature to me, through the absolute sanctuary that Beltaine cottage is. Now I have survived, I am feeling stronger every day and watching your videos is still a part of my daily life. Oh Colette, please look at it from the other way round. I'm in my mid-60s, and there's been NUMEROUS scare stories in my lifetime, and guess what, we're all still here. It's all boys-playing-with-their-toys and trying to frighten one another. The human race WILL survive. I feel privileged to be here, at this time, the first time in history we've been able to see what's going on in other countries in real time. Only 100 years ago newspapers took days to be delivered between countries. I think we're lucky to be here, as witnesses. I keep a positivity journal of the things I'm grateful for. I highly recommend it. ❤

I like your attitude and its very good advice for those living in developed countries but the Reality is for millions of people life is beyond hard and millions have died and suffered beyond our imagining in recent years from war and famine.Sometimes we can think nothing too bad has happened yet because it hasn't happened to us

California here, Most of us understand your despair of what is happening. My motto is prepare for the storm not be paralyzed with fear, we as the human race need to support each other not let the forces divide us. My small 1/4 acre vegetable, flowers and tree garden, along with my small fruit and nut orchard is what keeps me centered. 🕊️☮️❤️

I, too, have stepped back from "the world." The older I become, the more I feel that I need to be alone, if for any reason, to keep my sanity 😒🙄.
I have withdrawn from the outside world, and due to sever anxiety, I have not been out and about since January 2020. I only go out of my very rural home to walk my rescue greyhound Madge, and I am happy with this. Being a highly sensitive person, I can not cope with all the bad stuff that is going on in the world, and choose to live my life on my own with my dog. I wish that people could be kind and caring, and I shall always make an effort to pass on love and kindness to others. It makes my day, if someone is kind to me. xxx
I have not watched in a bit. My how Bealtaine has come about. What you have created is more beautiful than ever, Collette. I love your sharing of your gathering by the ocean shore’s side. I too love ocean gathering. Some of my fondest memories are of Sea Glass hunting at Glass Beach in Fort Bragg, CA. Long before - all of the crowds of now. Such peace, so engrossed. Mind, out of time and place. Always reminded me somehow of the book Remarkable Creatures, the story of Mary Anning.

My two girlfriends & I rode out about an hour to shop at a large outdoor nursery for some plants & flowers to grow in our gardens. We stopped for lunch & had those nice talks girlfriends have about family, husbands & our hopes & dreams that still exist even in our 60’s & 70’s. Seems like our hopes & dreams are about the same these days…finding peace & joy in the simple things in between the worry & concerns of the world of chaos in which we all live. ❤

Simplicity is key . The older I get the more I know this is true. We have to stay true to our values even if our surroundings are chaotic.

I was woken this morning by a flight of geese honking their way over my house. A wonderful sound. It is becoming so much more difficult to avoid the constant doom laden global atmosphere that is pressing so heavily on all of us. Nature is the only way. Thankyou for sharing the wonderful ‘safe space’ of your little patch of Mother Earth. It always lifts the spirits.
We must all be feeling deeply this unspoken thing, Colette. I just want to say to you that you helped me through one of the darkest times of my life, as my mother was living out her last moments on this Earth plane. I found you and the life you shared in teachings, strolls through your gardens, and just your open heart gave me life. My love and support to you always. Dear Colette, you must do whatever is best for you, but we would miss your videos. Maybe you should just do one a month while you feel like this.
I haven’t got a woodland like you, but I live alone on a very modest income now I’m retired. I have my little house & a modest sized garden that keeps me sane. I made a conscious decision a while back to only watch channels like yours, uplifting channels & sometimes DIY channels to teach me stuff as I have to do most of my own repairs.
I’m trying to keep away from the news & negative channels. We all have to take care of ourselves physically & mentally as best we can. So you take care & we will always be here whenever you decide to post something. X
Colette, never underestimate the influence you have had and continue to have. I discovered your channel during the pandemic and I found it a source of huge inspiration and comfort at that time.
I have continued to follow you and implement much of what you do on a smaller scale in my garden. I have bought your books, proudly display the bumper sticker on my car "Plant like your life depends on it, for it does" - I also wear one of your pendants. All of these things often promote questions/conversations with others so do you see the ripple effect you are having? (I have also shared links to your website to numerous friends!)
I don't say all this to flatter but just to remind you how important what you have shared is in this world. I'm sure I am not the only one who has spread the word!
I think we are like a growing movement (excuse the pun!) and more and more people are realising what is truly important in life

As someone living in America there are loads of people who agree with you. The division between us in America and all over the world is shameful. I live in an isolated area that at one time was in the woods. Now so called progress is ever encroaching and it saddens me. Your videos are beautiful and so badly needed during these times.

Hello from the beautiful Pacific Northwest in the US. I am 80 years old, and I share your concern for the world, and also your love of Nature, and for gardening. At this time of year especially, when I see the new flowers emerging from the ground, I always feel it is the earth pushing them out from her heart to us and all the creatures, like a message. And the songs of the birds are like joyful praises of the Life Force. These things give me such hope, and such reassurance. And now, regardless of the type of music you prefer, I am encouraged to learn that the song “Don’t Stop Believing” has become the biggest song in the history of music. my ancestors have been calling me to Ireland most of my life, but sadly i never got there, this is the closest i can get to seeing ireland and feeling the beauty and magic of it, as my heart weeps for ireland as i know what is happening. The orange in the stone on the beach looks like calcite, and i love rocks and stones as they give out female or male energy. See if you can tell the difference as you hold them. Don't give up on your videos as many will be heart broken to not see the haven of peace and beauty again which we all need so badly in this world.

When it comes to "complex systems"; only in the past couple of years have I realised quite how complex the world is in terms of the actions and motivations of those at the top and how sometimes they might appear on the surface to be well-intentioned and good for society and have the support of good people who they've hoodwinked into supporting them, but at the heart of it, it's all about harvesting more power and wealth for the few whilst claiming it's for the good of the masses. And we can't rely on the mainstream media to seek out the facts in anything and inform us, they merely do the bidding of the few. Some more blatantly than others. The world is not what I thought it was 5 years ago, even since 2 years ago my perception has shifted dramatically. Far more than most people. The me, and how I viewed the world 20 years ago is alien to how I see things now. I was always cynical - but in recent years I realised I was nowhere near cynical enough. It's impossible not to believe that the entire West is corrupted by the few at the top. The realilsation of how complex things are and seeing how hard it is for facts of any subject to spread and the reluctance of many to accept the evidence and reality in front of them I have found very depressing. It makes me want to switch everything off and hide away more than I already am. I don't have a TV or see much MSM online, so events going on in the world are usually very distant to me and I see very little in my limited social media viewing. I am glad I'm not consuming the mainstream propaganda. Unless I'm mistaken, I assume I understand what "the coming storm" and "complex systems" means with regards this video. But maybe I'm reading into it what I want to read. Whether it's x or y or z, I am sure it's just one part of the elite's broader selfish agenda.

I hope you don't underestimate your influence for many of us. At 60, I recently lost my job of 35 years. I moved back home to my grandparent's acreage in the country. I've begun my plan to revitalize the orchard, plant a garden, and restore the land. I've also been working on expanding the native plant and rose garden I planted for my mother before her passing last year. It's been a year of changes and you've been a part of it the entire way.

There are legions of us who live the Bealtaine life without the media status!❤ I have done so solo since 1992, first on a mountainat 8000 feet and now buried in the Ozark Highlands. I love my privacy. I have published essays on my life, and that caused enough unwanted drama. I cannot imagine what a more accessible media format like youtube would generate. You couldn't pay me a million dollars for the harassment.
Exactly - being / living that life without the attention. I think it’s unfortunately very addictive and can warp our outlook being a slave to the social media.
The world needs you. I appreciate what you share. Protect your happiness at all costs.

I don’t bother with what I can’t change. No use worrying about it. This was the advice given to me about 25 years ago. I take care of me, mine, the animals and the environment around me. It’s all about nature and living simply. (Spelling is incorrect on purpose) I don’t follow poly ticks, nooz, hollee wud, or drah muh… they create too many bad vibes and a feeling of sadness and anxiety. We are only here for a mere 80ish years, so make them happy ones that family will remember us by. Wishing you a peaceful weekend, Colette 😌

Sometimes I feel negative about everything, but then I dig into the earth, and realize I’m planting not only seeds, but hope, love and joy. That’s all I can do and I’m so grateful to be able to, even if my family and the wildlife are the only ones to benefit directly. I hope someday my small plantings bloom as wonderfully as yours. My climate is so different, but it can be done! No matter what you decide I’ll always hold everything you have done as the special inspiration that kickstarted a very different way of seeing and living. So thank you, no matter what. ❤️

Love hearing the birds, my friend lets her dog out in the morning, she'll sit out there and listen to the birds. She thinks it's a community get together, maybe even a bunch of gossiping going on. I live just 15 mins from the Chesapeake bay, I've found some wonderful Indian arrowheads over the yrs, along with beautiful shards of china. Lastly, I think Pasty hit the jackpot when you adopted her, I bet she thinks so too.

When ever I find rocks r stones either on my walks r at the beach I thank the gods and elementals fir choosing me after all the millions of years it has existed on earth to hold it take it home and I proudly show off my collection like they were diamonds

The ridiculous self importance of those who call themselves our leaders intrudes on us each day. It's a challenge not to allow it to overwhelm us. You have undertaken an enormous task Colette, and I don't just refer to the physical part. I know you didn't purposely choose it, but thank you for your strength. We live in a world now in which words have become weapons. I know you have been berated for simply being you. This will pass. Somehow I know it.
I watch your channel and dream of the same sort of life. I'm physically unable to start from scratch as you did, but I take joy in watching your accomplishments! And my dream will never die - I keep looking for the possibilities.
My advise to those who don't like what you say is to stop listening. No one is forcing you to be here and attacking this beautiful woman and her beliefs has become tedious to the rest of us who love spending time with her.

Oh Colette, I hear you. ❤ I was comforted by a dream I had the other night about little girl the size of an infant dressed in pale green. Her red hair was dull and fuzzy and her face was strange and beak-like. It was marred and told the story of the terrible time in which she’d been born. At first I was repelled, ashamed even, but she opened her mouth and sang the most beautiful song I’d ever heard. Her voice was so clear and I marveled at how much she knew. She was like a damaged little acorn with the power of the forest she would create pouring out of her. I was awed and humbled. 🍃
