kxdsheldy what made you grow out the rest of your hair? I just started growing my undercut back about a month ago. I had to cut it due to eczema flakes but now I got that situated I’m growing my hair back.
I’m definitely going to flat twist and cornrow whenever it gets to an adequate length but you definitely inspire me to continue growing mine out! It’s been 2 months for me! Can’t wait to see it at the end of the year!😩

As far as your question, the texture is much finer than the rest of my hair but I see that all the time, so I’m assuming it’s normal. Unless you’re putting heat, tension, or chemicals on it I wouldn’t worry about it being damaged
@@kxdsheldy i dont use heat often. and chemicals havent touched my hair in years but its a part of my hair that irritates me. i checked n its the same curl pattern but its thicker n takes longer for products to absorb n clump
My under cut is now twa as well but it's not full as your but I'm not worried about that I'm working on my edges my undercut will grow out no pressure but I'm focusing in my edges
The struggle with an undercut is real! I had a fade and it was still so annoying to grow my sides and back out and look presentable. Right now tho I am at twa status all over. I'm approaching a year tho. It gets better!

Rom months of training it through deep conditioning using curl gellee and gel. Keeping his hair healthy and moisturised while it grew and trained itself to remain curly

I did the routine today, my hair still looks like an afro with curls that only I can see. Someone said I have to apply texturizer first, what do you think?
