Hi Neil and Ant what a fantastic video. Chatsworth is magical anytime of year but the Christmas 🎄 decorations are absolutely superb in such a setting. Thanks for sharing it with us we really enjoyed seeing it. Those trees set against the ceilings wow! We love visiting nt houses decorated for Xmas and this has really got us in the mood. Chatsworth do such a good job decorating all those 24 rooms, we loved the elves ❤ 10:01 and 10:55 The grounds looked great too can see why it costs a lot well worth it. Hi Dave and Dawn so happy that you enjoyed the video! We had such a good time there... was surprised how busy it was! The house really is looking very magical we hope to go back after Christmas before they take all the Dec's back down when it might be quieter... I had issues with the video I uploaded it last night but it was very "foggy" I haven't had that happen before so I deleted it and uploaded it again today and it's much better! I love Chatsworth I visited many times when I lived in Derbyshire, I now live in Cornwall, but it’s on my bucket list to visit at Christmas which so far I’ve never managed to do. So thanks for that lovely tour.
We are lucky to live only about 30 minutes away from Chatsworth it's fairly local to us and we love going whenever we can... the Christmas market was huge this year and we hope to edit a separate video of that... Chatsworth is always better outside than in. From your film, it seems there is nothing new in the house, some of it looking very much like they have been to the local IKEA for decorations, most of it from previous years. I gave up paying such huge prices for `re-hashed' decs! Their outdoor art shows in the summer are much more spectacular.
We felt it was better actually there than on the video due to the atmosphere but I totally understand your comments... we went to Doddington Hall in Lincolnshire a smaller grand house that had been decorated by the family for Christmas on a much much smaller budget but their creativity blew us away particularly as you could see how much they'd done so well themselves... thanks for watching and commenting 🙂
