Can’t stress enough how dumb it is the do flips off the cage. It may not look like much, but the human body is not designed to accommodate drops like that. Almost every bone from your neck on down could be compromised by a landing like that, and that’s if you land it, which Justin barely did. It could damage your feet, tendons, muscles, etc. And even if it resulted in something relatively minor, that could nag on for months or indefinitely as you have to continue training, and probably would be extremely hesitant to mention any injury to the UFC. Or I guess you could lie and just say you felt a pop mid fight or something. But Dana would be pissed, and it would jus the so embarrassing and boneheaded. You take enough risks in sparring and training, let alone a full on fights. Why would you press your luck doing something like this in the moment. It looks way more badass to simply raise your arms and look unsurprised by victory ala a Pereira or someone stoic like that. But I get it.
