Zhu Zhu Pets | Shamrock

Here’s Shamrock, the beautiful green hamster girl, and also the first, “brightly colored” Zhu from the Series 5 line! This is one of my latest Zhus as I got her from an Ebay (that included two Rare Kung Zhus in the lot), and it feels so great to have this one again. Shamrock is also the culprit of “possessing” a lot of Zhus (mostly the female Zhus) to have her sounds, just kidding lol
Her sound chip is so commonly overused that a lot of the Zhus that can have Shamrock’s sounds are Finnegan, Friday, Moonmist, Rori (early release), Josie (early release), Pumpkin, and even Kung Zhu Abrams (if unlucky). Sometimes a few other Zhus can have her sounds as well, given how overused Shamrock’s sound chip is, and it’s been confirmed that she’s definitely the #1 Zhu with her original sounds being used a lot more than other ones according to some other Zhu Zhu Pets collectors.
But it’s no big deal though as I still really love her original sounds, and I never had a problem with her sounds being used a lot in some other Zhus, even though it’s really Shamrock’s sounds to begin with since she was first released with the other three Series 5 Zhus (Dezel, Bamboo, and Capt. Zhu).
Shamrock is probably my second favorite Series 5 Zhu Zhu Pet behind Dezel (being my first favorite) as I love the unique sounds she makes, especially the iconic sleep noise she makes when you turn her off after exploring or when you press her nose as demonstrated here in this review of Shamrock, and the full part of her iconic sleep/stop noise is at 1:24.
Having Shamrock again brings me back good memories when I used to have her as a kid, and always loved her for not only the sounds she makes, but also the unique green fur she has! I also love the pitch my Shamrock has and in fact, my old Shamrock I used to have was this EXACT pitch, so this is definitely a perfect one as I usually prefer Shamrock more in this pitch than other pitches, but she still sounds super unique either way. I do also have another Shamrock which I found at Savers a while back but I decided to make this one my original Shamrock because the other one isn’t in the best shape and plus, her speaker quality isn’t as great as this one is but I’m still keeping it as a duplicate while this one here is definitely my original one of Shamrock. I also believe Shamrock is a little more uncommon than any of the other Series 5 Zhus since I’ve found out that she doesn’t show up as often as the other three do online, which is pretty cool for this exact Zhu.

She also has two siblings which are Pinkie and Peachy in her family as well. Shamrock’s grandparents are from Ireland and she grew up loving all things Irish. She’s constantly on the search for four leaf clovers, always tries to find the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, and is best friends with her imaginary leprechaun friend, Brianna! Her favorite holiday to celebrate is of course…St. Patrick’s Day! ☘️☘️

Yeah, Shamrock’s gearbox runs perfectly well with no split gears and even I was a little surprised how fast she was even after I reviewed her in this video! Hope Shamrock doesn’t get dizzy from all the spinning…just kidding, she can’t 😂
