We had the pleasure of interviewing David Nykl at the Four State Comic Con and spoke to him about cosplay, superheroes, desserts and much more! Well known for his role as Anatoly Knyazev, a.k.a. the KGBeast, on Arrow, we also got some lessons in a proper Bratva accent! We even got him to sing... kind of... and had a fun time with this fun guy! Find out who he would cosplay!

7 seasons of Arrow later I'm hearing him speak in an American accent for the first time. XD
You're not the first to find that disconcerting. Though technically I think he's Canadian, but close enough.

Exactly what I said! I wasn't expecting him to speak English without an accent.
And the best on this is, that he is not american lul. He is from the Czech republic. The central europe. That's why he know's or its easy to speak with russian accent for him. Its not simillar like Russians language ( i mean czech language), but its Slavic language as many country has Slavic language in europe.

It's a CANADIAN accent, not American. ;-) He was barely a year old when his parents immigrated from Czechoslovakia to Canada.

He's czech, who has lived in Canada since he was two, I think. Brilliant actor, great sense of humour and cute.
