I hope Katie realises how good of an actress she is, because I am genuinely so confused by her looking like Earth 2 Laurel and talking about being Earth 1 Laurel. I completely saw them as different people.
Yeah, I hated Earth 1 Laurel more than any other character and now Earth 2 Laurel is actually one of my favourites. Very well acted to make them so different.

@@Lastcornflake It's been a while since I watched the early seasons, but I think it was cos she was clearly written for the sole purpose of creating pointless drama. And she acted like she was so perfect and kind, but she was actually a massive bitch to basically everyone. Can't really remember specifics without rewatching though.

Sad that Stephen Amell’s Journey comes to a end with the Arrowverse but Cassidy’s is just starting even after all her time she already has spent cause she will be in Green Arrow and the Canaries as a lead roll as well. Also she looks hella amazing with the snowy white hair lol. I dig it and it suits her Black Canary look.
They should make a whole new show based on the Canaries but reflecting on Arrow though

I hope that's how they do the DCEU Oliver. Not a diss on Stephen but rather that degree of separation will allow me to better accept whoever they cast for that version.
@@lombax316 who's to say well ever see a DCEU oliver? DC has only started rebooting the universe with solo projects, Joker, Bird of prey (I hear is actually quite good), the batman... DC might actually be on the road to success, but if they do ever do a big screen Oliver I'd want to either see stephen to return , because you know he would for the $$$, or Charlie hunnam, since he has the charm and the hairstyle/ goatee for it.
@@natechenry You may not be wrong but I'd prefer to see a different interpretation of the Green Arrow than the one we've all probably grown more attached to. I would want to see the swashbuckler archer because if they don't do something different then what's the point.

Daniel Tokunaga i mean technically arrow is now spectre which if u look it up he has cosmic resurrection which basically means buddys immune to dyeing so technically buddy guy isnt dead. And they could if they wanted to put out a spectre movie with something he does after words. I think it has a sicker name and would pull in all the loyal arrow fans cause who doesnt wanna see more of that character. And anyone that hasnt watched the show prob wont wanna go watch the movie if it has the same name...

Katie and Stephen were amazing as Laurel and Oliver. Katie really brought such warmth and love to Laurel especially in moments where she expressed such faith in Oliver and showed such love to her sister Sara. She also showed a great conviction in helping others and fighting for justice. She will always be my favorite on Arrow.

@@Perks5 Man you're so pissed. You can't replace someone when they are still there. Don't be so mad that Emily and Stephen had more chemistry so they went that way. If you were actually watching the show you could see they were trying to replace the love interest role many times over in season 1 with huntress, mckenna, etc. They lucked out with Felicity.
Yeah, I don't love Felicity, but Laurel was an absolute bitch, I hated her with a passion. The showrunners clearly worked out pretty early on that they completely screwed things up if they ever wanted to make her and Ollie end up together, so they started looking for alternatives, thank goodness. Felicity can be cringe at times but she and Ollie have much better chemistry.
Strangely enough, I actually quite like the Earth Two Laurel, despite the original Laurel being so terrible.

@@danatedawg1018 e1 laurel may be dead but katie isn't dead and she is the person that was there in ep 1 and never quit and was a reason a lot of people watched this show's pilot and made season 1 a success for the arrowverse to be able to happen. katie doesn't get the respect from fans, people behind the scenes, and fellow arrowverse actors, as the actress that stood opposite stephen and started the universe with him

Honestly if I was the studio I'll let Amell keep the suit, he did a spectacular job at portraying the green arrow. Heck I never really cared much about that dc character as it would always be batman and superman on my top list. However it was thanks to this show and Stephen Amell that immersed me into the Oliver queen universe. So thank you .... all of you that put your heart and soul into the Arrow series

@@arianevidding I didn't want Lauriver or Olicity so it was strange for me. I thought it was shit how they'd treated Cassidy and then Olicity in season 3-4 nearly made me quit but at the same time Laurel somewhat deserved better than the guy who slept with her sister. Quite liked her with Tommy. Probably would have liked him with Sara or McKenna.

Brandon Banks I honestly liked felicity a lot in the first couple of seasons but after season 3 she just was unbearable. Her and Oliver were better off as friends, once they put them in a relationship the writing for her character changed. Especially in season 4, if you look back at that season it’s like the writers were mad at Oliver or some shit because felicity treated him like shit lol.

But after that she got annoying especially when Oliver found out about his son. And then the baby mom told Felicity to her face about the situation and she still acted like a dick about it lol
And then season 3, 4, most of 5, 6, 7, and 8 happened....and the hope was lost of this show being good.

@MarvelDC girl 1255643 2354 since Marc got his hands on the production of Arrow and that was like season 2 forward, he made it pretty obvious that he didn't like Laurel since in season 1 she was a main character and wasn't very hated but the moment he got his hands on it, he made half the fanbase hate her (mostly the Olicity shippers) and there was most "chemistry" between those two is because he barely did any scenes between Laurel and Ollie. Yes, Laurel loved Tommy but she when she died she literally said that she never stopped loving Oliver and Marc since he wanted to keep that stupid ship, he made her say that he belongs with that Mary Sue of a character that is Felicity *EVEN THO* she was one of the reasons half of the seasons have a bad rep (besides the writting of the main bad guy) since they pretty much made her the main focus of the show, that made some fans of the show call it Felicity and Friends and not Arrow, like:
-Season 1 main focus: Ollie
-Season 2 main focus: Ollie
-Season 3 main focus: Felicity
-Season 4 main focus: Felicity
-Season 5 main focus: Ollie hiyeh
-Season 6 main focus: Felicity
-Season 7 main focus: Ollie's family
-Season 8 main focus: Ollie obviously but if she was there I don't even wanna know
If he wanted Laurel and Ollie to have chemistry, he could've done it but he said fucked that let's go with this shit.
So if we take out season 1 since he wasn't taking the shots by then and the final season because she wasn't there at all, half of them are based around her and the good ones aren't focus on her even tho season 7 was meh for me
I thought that stephen looked really old compared to a couple months back but its his weight his head is fat and his hair grown ugly i noticed that because i watched an intervieuw a couple months back when he was still musculairand he looked great. Not that im complaining the man deserves to eat some more after 7 years of a straight body

Literally the pilot version of Arrow is all I remember and I'm so confused as to where the show is at.... I stopped at end of season 3 I think? It just veered so far from what it was. It really did start a DC tv show era. Gonna miss it.

There were seriously NO chemistry between them. I remember watching the pilot and being like "I understand why Oliver cheated on her, they have no chemistry" Especially compared to Laurel and Tommy, they chemistry was way better!!!
I seriously can't understand how people see chemistry between them. Both of them had better chemistry with all other actors except each other. But then again, I heard they didn't do a chemistry read, so if they had done it, we might have gotten a different Arrow, since Katie was the bigger name back then.

i was pleasantly surprised with the professionalism and emotions rick gonzalez and julianne harkavy brought to the series.
Stephen amell: I am getting fat. I have denied this same confiction with wich im speaking now. I have let good people stand accused for things that I have done. Roy harper is not getting fat. Tommy merlin is definetly not getting fat. These are part of a long list of people who gave some much for my body. Some of them even gave their lifes.

Laurel should have been Arrows endgame.
It will ALWAYS be the Arrowverse, gone but never forgotten and the cast will always be known as them. A show that also created an entire universe, killed it, then rebuilt in for Flash, Legends, Black Lightning, Supergirl, Batwoman to move on and carry the show with them and including the new upcoming Superman and Lois series on cw and others planned. We still thank you as i have enjoyed Arrow to the end. If i was you Amell, i would keep the suit also and wear it to events or home. Amell and others should return if they ever create a Green Arrow game like Arkham which would be awsome.

I think they didn’t end up together because of all the crap that happened. Oliver screwed up Laurel’s life, we can’t deny that. He cheated on her multiple times-even with her sister, and, adding on, girl pregnant. Them getting back together would be kinda toxic, even though Oliver had changed.
I seriously dont get why people want them together. For me they always looked so stiff together. I saw zero chemistry between those two. It was like looking at paint dry when they had scenes together. Even from the first episode on, I didn't like them together. And I didn't even think the possibility of Oliver and Felicity until way into season 3. I liked Laurel with Tommy and Oliver with Sara. Even Ollie and the Huntress had more chemistry than him and Laurel. Diggle and Oliver would be better than Oliver and Laurel.. Fucking Ray palmer and Oliver had better chemistry.
