    Back the springs off , I remember right vg springs are progressive and get stiffer the more they collapse …

      @@justbashinitrc lift the weight off the truck then back the preloads off till the spring doesn’t have any tension … then lightly tighten them to just where the springs are held in place and don’t wiggle around . That should get you in the ball park to start . Then just count threads and adjust to your liking . If you have to crank them too much to where the truck is sloppy and stiff on small choppy stuff just to get it to not chassis slap as bad , then maybe I’d look into the vgt springs for the sledge . There a little beefier spring . Sledge vg springs might be the best option . You won’t have to pre load the shit out of them . That way it’ll float and absorb the small ruts and bumps and soak up the big landings .
