As a man of Iranian heritage, I am being baptised and confirmed into the Holy Catholic Church this Easter. Christianity is the fastest growing religion in Iran. Can I ask for anyone who reads this to please pray for the conversion of Iran and those Christians in Iran who practise their faith in each other’s houses for fear of persecution?
I walked away from church in 2004 when I was 17. I was in occultism and interested in satanism. I am so happy and glad that Jesus took me back in 2020 at age 33. Thanks to Jesus ❤

It certainly is. Often, though. I feel a lack of emotion. I know that this is spiritual aridity - just like when Jesus said: " my God, my God, why have you forsaken Me?" We havre not been abandoned but it is an opportunity to strengthen our trust in God. I simply say with love : I know you are there" and that warm reassurance, that love, flows back. Jesus and Mary are absolutely wonderful I just want to hug them
You are so right about how much we need the church. I walked away from the church when I was a teenager. I'm 48 now. Came back last year. Went to confession and been attending mass. @randyman1739 In 1 Tim 3:15 Jesus called the Church “the pillar and foundation of the truth.” He established the Church and the chair of the papacy and put Peter upon it in Matt 16:18. In Col 1:18 Jesus said he is the head of the body, which is the Church. So, contrary to common belief, the Church isn’t man-made but God-made. 2Tim2:2 says, What you hear from me entrust to faithful men, who will be able to teach others also. This is how Christ set it up, so who are you to tell him he is wrong?
Even as we grow up and get busy in life, forgetting about God and his mother… God and his mother will never forget about us. There’s always a little tug in our hearts to come back home to the Catholic Church. That’s the Holy Spirit moving you. Heaven wants NO-ONE lost. That is their love for us. True love that is unconditional. No matter what.
When I was confirmed, I was taught that I had become a soldier of the Church. Was anyone else taught that? It made a very deep impression on me. I was only in the third grade at the time but it filled me with a sense of responsibility to defend the Church that has never left me.
Prayers please for a troubled family in NSW, Australia. 14 year old son Brock (6 ft tall) has gone astray due to lack of discipline and violent video games from a young age. Mixing with the wrong crowd, violent to his parents and threatening to kill, known to police for various crimes including domestic violence and car theft. Only God can help now. The family need a miracle 🙏
Im will pray for your son and your family. My youngest grandson started playing those video games at 2 yesterday old. They are EVIL! I did all i could do. Get an exorcist Priest to come to your home and work on protecting the home with blessed St Benedict medals surrounding the home and inside the child's room. Must have exorcist blessing done on the medals by the priest. Priest need to be there and confront the child. . We have Father Blount in USA and he goes into schools , homes with hundreds of the blessed St Benedict medals. Also pray the Unity prayer as told to by Jesus and Mary. I really liked this talk about the Anti-Christ, there needs to be more talks like this. I would like to point out, Fr. Chris, that you have a habit of saying that you have a big mouth. I for one would strongly disagree because you have a big heart and you have a ton of guts...it's just that maybe God wants you to be verbal as a way to hopefully wake a lot of people up. I don't think that your mouth is going to get you into trouble it's the problem with social media platforms that choose to disagree all because they're the ones that don't want anything to do with God. You remind me of my former Pastor, Father David Huffman, he has an exteremely rich knowledge of the Church. Father Huffman is still active and at 79 years old chooses not to retire. At least he only has to deal with a single church now at St. Ambrose, whereas in Ironton he had to deal with three! (Four now as St. Anne was added to our Parish).

I’m sure if you heard anything about the antichrist you’d be jumping all over that person. I think probably the priest talk about it on their station but they don’t tell people all over the world because of course there’s so much hate in the world you never know what you’re gonna get.

This week has been a struggle for me in feeling insignificant and unimportant to the people around me. This talk reminded me that the only thing that matters is Christ and our belief as Catholics. I feel that the Holy Spirit let me to that thought. The Holy Spirit is always at work!

I love this! I had seen it before, but was afraid to watch it. I love what you said and it cleared up a lot for me. I had fallen away from the church for a number of years and got into Buddhism and Yoga and Reiki. The Lord came looking for me and brought me back to church. The gospel of the day that I went back to church for the first time in a number of years, was the prodigal son. I still get tears in my eyes thinking about that. I am so glad to be back with my faith and have left all of that nonsense behind me. My daughter however, I'm still praying for her. She does not believe in God. 🙏🙏Thank you Father for clearing up a lot for me I am so glad that I am back with our Lord and Savior the King of all!!

I really liked this talk about the Anti-Christ, there needs to be more talks like this. I would like to point out, Fr. Chris, that you have a habit of saying that you have a big mouth. I for one would strongly disagree because you have a big heart and you have a ton of guts...it's just that maybe God wants you to be verbal as a way to hopefully wake a lot of people up. I don't think that your mouth is going to get you into trouble it's the problem with social media platforms that choose to disagree all because they're the ones that don't want anything to do with God. You remind me of my former Pastor, Father David Huffman, he has an exteremely rich knowledge of the Church. Father Huffman is still active and at 79 years old chooses not to retire. At least he only has to deal with a single church now at St. Ambrose, whereas in Ironton he had to deal with three! (Four now as St. Anne was added to our Parish).

The pope is the antichrist. All the old religions use to teach that and now only 1 group teaches that.
The anti-Christ religion is the Muslim religion. Check it out. Their scripture says their Messiah and prophet will be against the Christian messian Jesus. Christ. Their religion is the one that behead people.
I’m sure if you heard anything about the antichrist you’d be jumping all over that person. I think probably the priest talk about it on their station but they don’t tell people all over the world because of course there’s so much hate in the world you never know what you’re gonna get.

Thank you Fr. Chris for another wonderful talk. A thought came to me during your talk that I wanted to mention. This week has been a struggle for me in feeling insignificant and unimportant to the people around me. This talk reminded me that the only thing that matters is Christ and our belief as Catholics. I live in New Zealand and we have a saying here "'All good", as in "it's all good" and it is really commonly used. I use it myself. But the actual inaccuracy of it really frustrates me in my own time. I am frustrated by my laziness and our cultural laziness or ability to be more eloquent - as definitely everything is not all good!! I will try to be clearer in my speaking, though of course the spirit of this phrase is 'it's okay, no problem, don't stress'

I love this! I had seen it before, but was afraid to watch it. I love what you said and it cleared up a lot for me. I had fallen away from the church for a number of years and got into Buddhism and Yoga and Reiki. The Lord came looking for me and brought me back to church. The gospel of the day that I went back to church for the first time in a number of years, was the prodigal son. I still get tears in my eyes thinking about that. I am so glad to be back with my faith and have left all of that nonsense behind me. My daughter however, I'm still praying for her. She does not believe in God. 🙏🙏Thank you Father for clearing up a lot for me I am so glad that I am back with our Lord and Savior the King of all!!
