12:08 (only because you asked why) cure your steaks with salt to extract moisture, and always let meat get to room temperature before cooking. you will never have that meat-stewing-in-its-own-blood problem ever again. (also, you would need much less oil if you kept your meat moving for the first minute on each side to develop it's non-stick crust) (edit: bonus points if you oil the meat before cooking, rather than the pan)

French here. My struggle meal : 1) Slice whole potatoes (thickness of a finger), leave the skin on 2) Put them on a tray and cover them with olive oil. Add salt on top and, if you got any, some dried herbs like thyme. 3) Put it all in the oven for a few hours at low temperature (around water boiling point). That's it, it should be tender and sweet, with a dried crust on top. Costs close to nothing and is enough for dinner + late night snack. If it stays 1 or 2 hours longer it won't burn.
Fuck, in France people are upset baguette prices raised from 0.90€ to 1.00€... and that's for artisanal baguette, not factory stuff Them selling it at 4.99 is them making a ton of profit
And their secrets are likely little to no different to what the Europeans do, they are just paranoid and probably think everyone will start their own cheese factory to steal their business.

hey FutureCanoe. Not so much a struggle meal, but in India, its very common to eat curd rice when you are sick. Get yoghurt and beat that up into a paste almost. You can add a little bit of milk too. Damn, i can't stop smiling on the cow footage
09:45 Ya know, that doesn't sound too bad as an idea. Good bread, different toppings and finally a layer of raclette on top. Would make a banger street shop. Just gotta find the right locations to set up.
12:08 (only because you asked why) cure your steaks with salt to extract moisture, and always let meat get to room temperature before cooking.
you will never have that meat-stewing-in-its-own-blood problem ever again.
(also, you would need much less oil if you kept your meat moving for the first minute on each side to develop it's non-stick crust)
(edit: bonus points if you oil the meat before cooking, rather than the pan)
0:43 "Little road trip", the American says
That is a little road trip. You're just weak
4 h is little road trip even in Europe terms..
C´mon, 4 hours is just a little.
4 hours is only a quarter of Texas. Fuck Texas.
That's my daily commute to college on a motorcycle bruh lol
Alexa should be a new side character of the FutureCanoe anime. Shes just so cute! Keep up the excellent work FutureCanoe, you rock man!
6:02 What did she ever do to you?💀
Omg thank u so much for all this beautiful shots of the calves and cows ❤ living in switzerland I have the privilege of being surrounded by cows and farms. Could watch them all day eating grass and enjoying the summer breeze.

A Peak Polish struggle meal is either mashed or normal boiled potatoes with milk or sour milk
He is evolving , the quality is evolving
French here. My struggle meal :
1) Slice whole potatoes (thickness of a finger), leave the skin on
2) Put them on a tray and cover them with olive oil.
Your broken humor fixed me❤
NOW his post about asking a cow for directions makes sense
French Baguette for 4,99$ ???? What?!
Is that BEFORE Tax??
Fuck, in France people are upset baguette prices raised from 0.90€ to 1.00€... and that's for artisanal baguette, not factory stuff
Them selling it at 4.99 is them making a ton of profit
They've got em for a dollar down south
the majority of US states don't tax food (not from restaurants), anyway
@@lepidoptery in my state they charge a sales tax on food

16:29 OKAAAAY That's enough of you for today.
AGREED
Aaaawww the baby cows looked soo cute. And tasty,
Beautiful video btw.
It's nice to see you and your boyfriend going on another roadtrip. Enjoying a long baguette together with the gooey cheese cumming out. Have fun!
Ugh, I just know they’re both hot 😭😂
The culinary journey of future canoe is always unique from radioactive chicken to asking a cow for directions. Never change npc man
14:32 bro creating things I've never seen before 💀
The GMM references were great, especially name dropping Josh for the unspoken rules of ‘Will it’
Mythical Canoe might be the collab that nobody knew they needed.
YOOOO CANOE NEARLY 2M!!! CONGRATS BRO! 🎉
A man of ability and the desire to accomplish something can do anything.
you should more content like this, canoe. Like a "where does it come from" type series
some random american thinks he gets his secrets stolen while the european cheese makers open their doors freely to show cameras around
It's easy to be protective in our legal system.
And their secrets are likely little to no different to what the Europeans do, they are just paranoid and probably think everyone will start their own cheese factory to steal their business.
I bet it's something more like an anti-peta measure
@@tre641 no shit.
@@tre641 it's the legal system, I'm telling you it's the legal system.
Everyone knows how to make cheese.
There is nothing so proprietary that some cheese nerd couldn't figure it out in a couple years.
It's the legal system we have, anyone can be sued at any time for nearly every reason, even unreasonable reasons.
Best bet is to simply refuse all uncontrolled access and any form of media to save tens of thousands of dollars over several years time, potentially losing your business to idiots or business rivals that have more capital.
Now kindly; fuck off.
SO CINEMATIC
hey FutureCanoe.
Not so much a struggle meal, but in India, its very common to eat curd rice when you are sick.
Get yoghurt and beat that up into a paste almost. You can add a little bit of milk too. Cook some rice.
Then for tempering add mustard oil to a small pan, some mustard seeds, cumin, and a little chilli (not overkill, we still sick).
You got urself some pretty gut-healthy and comfort-meal, but really sick, meal there.
I love curd and rice adding a tempering on top sounds like perfection!
0:19 my GOD!! 🤤🤤🤤 i can't stop the drooling its really want to taste it 🤤🤤
