I got a femto like 2-3 days ago- in the place I got it, my eyes were made numb with eyedrops then they put a stuck paper? And clamp to hold my eye open and then they put me under a machine that had a ring of white light which they asked me to focus on- when they cut your upper flap open your eyes goes completely black, no vision for sometime before they move you to another laser (you dont need to move the bed moves) when they move you your vision comes back and you see a very blurred red and green light they ask you to focus on the green light, you feel nothing at all, you dont even know if you are crying or bleeding or anything at all. Its absolutely painless only 5-10 minute surgery. After the surgery you will suffer some headaches due to the bright light exposure and your eye lids will hurt cause they were held open. Put a painkiller and take a nap and you will be fine (no pain after at all) . Adhere and put all the eye drops recommended by your doctor and rest you will heal really well no worries

I don't know even a doctor who do surgery of your eye wearing glasses.
After spraying some liquid over your eye, the surgical team will place a device around your eye to keep your lids open. Then, they will place another device over your eye that will cut the flap you see here. You will see the entire process up until this point. As they cut, your vision in that eye will go completely dark, and you won't feel the cutting or the flap being pulled open. The only discomfort I felt was the pressure of the device against my facial bone. It was so unexpected that I felt violated and I wanted to tell him to stop, but I calmed myself down surrendered to what was happening, despite being unprepared for that step. After that, there is no pain. The laser correction itself is painless. Once its complete you'll keep your eye as still as possible so they can fit the flap back in place and seal it. If you're getting this procedure done, expect the discomfort I mentioned, and breath through it. You'll be fine.

Doctors dont tell you what exactly you will go through and it is misleading, it is so scary and I am not bluffing, it is simply not to be done
Absolutely correct, my daughtet went through this. Right eye was done smoothly but in left she felt the pressure and squinted so the surgery wasn't done and after bearing all the pain she's been given another appointment now. So practically she'll go throuvh twice in left eye
Just did this on my eyes yesterday… Alhamdulillah im all fine today and can see everything without glasses … thanks Allah Almighty ❤❤❤❤
So ur eye sight will be fine permanently i mean for years .i use glasses because my eye sight is low now i am going for surgery but since i use to work on computer for hours if i did surgery will my sights reduce then or not

This surgery ruined my vision and my life, permanently.

Bro what happened 😭
Massive Starbursts day and night, double/quadruple vision depending on how dilated my pupils are, glare, haloes, blurry vision that can't be corrected with glasses or regular contact lenses.
All these symptoms can't be cured or corrected with glasses.
The only thing that reduces SOME of them, like the double vision is scleral lenses, that are very uncomfortable and expensive.
I also have dry eyes and eye pain about 1/3 of the time.
Oh, and massive light streaks from any light source, everytime i blink, squint or have a light source at an angle.
It also gave me a lot of eye floaters, from being slightly annoying pre op to i can see dozens of them even looking at the asphalt.
My vision is really bad all the time and there's nothing i can do.

It's been 1 year I got femto LASIK but still my eye is red and right eye blurry. I don't recommend to anybody .I paid 200,000 but result nothing. I came to UK and went to doctor he told me they didn't use modern way there are scars . I contacted amant eye 2 , 3 times but nothing.

Femto LASIK should cost around $4K-$5K USD. Did you get ripped off? The fact that you paid 200K for Lasik doesn’t sound right to me.

Femto LASIK is a procedure that is done only with lasers. I get mine done tomorrow.
