Excellent video and explanation! The ReLEx smile treatment seems much preferred over the older techniques like LASIK and PRK. I've also heard that the recovery time is significantly less. As a potential patient, my comfort and ability to recover quickly are important factors to consider.
i did undergo relex smile in the IMO clinic in barcelona with doctor Jose luis guell, one of the theoratically experts. well, he's destroyed my eyes! all this marketing is very dangerous, he has way overcorrected with more than 1.5 hiperopia created in each eye, he has created loads of irregular astigmatism and i have painful eyes 24 hrs a day among other side effects, the whole experienced had changed my life, i wish i never met doctor guell and clinica IMO and in general that i never touched my eyes
Yes, I guess it doesn't heal. That time Smile wasn't available. I had a displacement I think 3 years after I've done Lasik. But they had corrected it. But since then still asking if it ever can be healed.
Hello. Can you have the SMILE procedure done to correct astigmatism only? My lens prescription is Plano sphere and I am only looking to correct the astigmatism which is approximately 2.50 cylinder. I have access to doctors nearby who would do PRK to correct this, but SMILE seems more appealing as it seems less invasive and with smaller incision seems less likely to cause dry eye long term than PRK. Also faster healing time than PRK. I am not interested in Lasik because the potential fragility of the flap, as I am very active.
@S. Vasconcelos hi i had my surgery yesterday monday and today Tuesday it’s amazing i can look very well that made me cry, it just a little bit blury still, i went to the doctors and they were surprised by how can i see very well now, but even it’s just a day after the surgery, it wasn’t painful at all, and it was super quick. Right now i just feel like a little bit of sand in eyes. Hope that feeling pass soon ✨👏🏽
until this time, best explanation thank you.

adele san ramon I have done SMILE 3 weeks ago and my left eye now has +1.5D. My right eye is perfect. I had -2.25D on both of my eyes before surgery.
Hi, is flap ever permanently healed after Lasik or can have a possibility to be displaced even many years after it's done?

@@narunikonaru how do you feel now
@@narunikonaru hey man how's your eyes now? Especially your night vision?
Relex smile seems to be the obviously most effective, but you really have to trust lasers lol
They all use the same lasers?
This same like femto smile?!! Zeiss
